What a nice surprise..after last week at Tiffany's disappointment. Made reservations for 5pm. They had none other than 8pm. Too late for us. Nice menu. Italian with other nice choices. My husband had the Manhattan clam soup. He said nice kick very good. Cajun salmon he said was excellent, so much so he wrapped it up and saved for home. I had the Russell salad, arugula with shaved Parmesan on top mixed in balsamic dressing...AMAZING! Simple but super. Then I had the pork mignon. Sounds different but it was worth the choice. The sauce was a bit salty but yummy. Cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes and hunks of roasted garlic. Excellent! The service was a bit slow but we were the third customer. The waitress was attentive and apologetic for the wait. The place could use a facelift. Plate on the walls as decor. Pictures crooked and old. Didn't have a martini list. Definitely patrons frequent the place. At one point we did see the waitress walking around with a bag of buns. Probably from National Bakery. They handed us one bun with tongs. I don't think Covid is a concern for them. Everyone was masked but every table looked like it was ready for seating. I can't say they were to be filled but nothing was taken out to spread out. Aside from that good food !!! We will be back!!

During my visit, I informed the staff about the issues with the meal; however, nothing was done to address the situation or offer a resolution. I was disappointed by the lack of concern and customer service after bringing the matter to their attention. Because the food was unsatisfactory and my concerns were not properly handled

Julian and the bar manager I believe his name was Kieth (sorry if Im wrong) were so attentive prompt and respectful. First the good: the food is amazing! Handmade pastas are out of this world. Entrees top notch…read more Desserts are on point. That olive cake is to die for. The bad: this point has to do with their automatic gratuity system. Nothing to do with the kitchen. I am not sure if anything over a party of 4 gets automatic tip, but it falls apart here: the bottle list. We ordered a bottle of wine. $115. Total cost with tax and gratuity is $143. That's $27 over the cost of the actual bottle. Or a 20% tip roughly. And they probably calculated the tip post tax. Had I known that I would not have ordered a bottle. Now for the arguments of "serving a bottle involves some labor that should be compensated ". Let's do the math. The cheapest bottle they have is 60$. If you were to charge gratuity and tax on this bottle it would be $76.20. That's only $16.30. Not a bad price right? Given the service of opening said bottle and pouring it. BUT... The most expensive bottle they have is $360. If you order that bottle, you will be paying an extra $97.20. That is a huge markup. And if I'm missing something, tell me how the service on a $360 bottle is different than the service on a $60 bottle. Does the server come out with a little song and dance for the more expensive one justifying an additional $97.20 on a $360 bottle of wine? Do you realize how absurd this is? My guess is that the owners don't realize the point I'm trying to make- to give them the benefit of the doubt. That is the best situation. The worst is if the owners know this, and are fleecing the customers. I'd like to believe this is not the case. To sum up: go for the food. Order wine by the glass. DO NOT order bottle service. You will be in for a nasty surprise. The average markup for A bottle of wine is 3x the amount in a restaurant. Retail my bottle was $45. I know this. And if it's $115, that's fair. After all the restaurant makes more money on liquor sales than food. I'm okay with that. But what I find reprehensible is that they charge a service fee on top of that. Which by my calculation is 20%. Therein lies the fallacy. The same 20% charge is applied to the cheapest to most expensive bottle. The effort made to open and serve said bottles are exactly the same! They don't disclose this practice to the patrons. I've run this by multiple people I know. They all say this practice is shady as hell. Enough said, go for the food. Don't get a bottle of wine.
