I had high hopes for this from what I've been told by others. Total disappointment…read more First, the service was awful. We got there 15 minutes after they opened and the only ones seated at the bar. You would think they would be on top of things that early in the evening. Nope, my wife had to wait 18 minutes to get her wine (which we bought the whole bottle). Second, they haven't changed their fryer oil in FOREVER!!!! Yes, I know what I'm talking about. As it being an open kitchen and you can see everything. We witnessed them take oil they just cooked in a pan and dump it in the fryer with the other oil. Are ya kidding me??? All the fried food came out dark as all get out it's been that long since they changed it or even filtered it. Third, some of the cook wore gloves and others didn't. No big deal normally. I watched one cook reach in the garbage and then proceeded to start preparing food!!!! No fing way!!!! Four, the Egg Roll was bland, the inside ingredients was garbage. Over cooked and tough. My wife's filet was under seasoned (well no seasoning at all), a cheap cut of meat and dry!!! The béarnaise sauce tasted and looked like it came out of a jar. It was the worst I've ever tasted. She asked for no vegetables and the risotto instead. She did get the risotto. I'll admit, that wasn't so bad. The bread that was under the filet was ICE cold. Not even sure why they served it or put it on the plate. Fifth, this is a one and done for us. There are soooooo many better options in the area with a better menu, price and service. To say disappointing is an understatement. Oh ya, almost forgot. We had to get a Togo bag and it reminded me of the bags you use to pick up your dogs poop. I'm not even joking.

I made reservations for Farm Bluffton with an outside table last year. who knew it was hot in July?…read moreMy sister in laws face was melting at the outside table so I had to adjust fire. 2026, I made a reservation inside with our own private table. The restaurant is very charming, it's giving off White Barn Inn Kennebunkport vibes. Once you're seated, you'll see why this is a popular Low Country restaurant. We're all given menus and what I noticed was a game changer. Farm is offering a three course tasting menu but the entire table has to participate. My wife was feeling under the weather so I grabbed the waiter to the side and said, we're all in with the tasting menu except my wife. Can you make an exception? Not a problem sir! The three course menu does not include the popular Farm corn bread. I placed an order before our tasting started. You're probably saying, what's so special about corn bread? Man... If lovin' you is wrong, I don't wanna be right. The corn bread was cooked in a skillet pan, the end result was a buttery, sweet treat. The sharable starters came to the table. Roasted May River Oysters, Beef Carpaccio and Burrata with shaved ham. The Roasted May River Oysters were my favorite bite of all these selections. The oysters were large and plumpy and the chef did not overcook the shell fish. Next, the waiter dropped off a huge bowl of Shrimp Rice along with a Heritage Pork Chop. This is what elevated southern cooking is all about, the pork chop was moist and had a wonderful taste. Another highly recommended dish. Dessert, I was starting to get really full but the Blueberry Olive Oil cake did not disappoint. There was a Toll House Hand Made Pie, also very good but I really full at this point of the meal. First time dining at Farm, it was a pleasure to dine here and I can't wait to return.

Let me start out by saying Yelp reviews are what led me to Farm. I was in town for the afternoon…read moreto check out Bluffton. What a quaint and charming town! Before leaving town, we decided to have dinner, and that is where Farm comes in. We decided to go with the recommendation of the staff up front and the waiter, choosing the Anthology menu for dinner. That selection was impossible to be disappointed with. The food is sourced locally, the taste is exceptional, and the service (shout-out to Justin) is outstanding. We just planned a return visit to Bluffton for May. This is what a low-country dining experience should be.

The shrimp basket came with Cajun fries also ordered side order of spicy, garlic corn. The shrimp were surprisingly big, lightly breaded and served hot. BOMB seafood boil! This is THE spot for flavorful, tasty, and fresh seafood…read more Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the hosts and seated. Our food came out pretty quickly after ordering and I appreciated that our server asked if we wanted the flounder basket brought out before or at the same time as the seafood boils. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us several times to ensure our food was good, our drinks were refilled, and that we had everything we needed. We were given an abundant amount of gloves and utensils. I appreciated the quality of the "bibs," as they were much sturdier than ones at other cajun seafood places. We were very happy with the food and service. All of the seafood was very fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the scallops were as that's not typically something I order at these kinds of restaurants. Definitely order the Hook & Reel special blend to get the most flavor and you won't regret it. We opted for the spicy level and it was perfect- spicy good flavor, but not overwhelmingly hot. The shrimp were huge and the crawfish were pretty big, considering the fact that they're small in size to begin with. The fries were fried to perfection and the flounder was delicious too. HIGHLY recommend this spot. The food and service were superb! This was the only restaurant I could find in that area with crawfish, as all other restaurants had shrimp and crab only. Our order: x 2 lbs crawfish x 2 lbs shrimp w/ head off x 1/2 lb scallops x 1/2 lb black mussels x fried flounder basket w/ cajun fries
