5 January 2021 We…read morewere in search of a chest of drawers and my mother remembered seeing a furniture store off the highway while driving by. So, we set out down Farrington Hwy in search of it. The warehouse was easy to find it is right off Farrington Hwy between Leokane and Pupukahi streets. When you pull off Farrington Hwy, you will be in the warehouse's parking lot, which has about 6 slots (1 handicap accessible) from what I remember. The lot looks like it is shared with another business but I don't remember the name however, I believe they are affiliated because the man that was standing in that doorway walked into the furniture store behind us. Once we walked in, a male employee greeted us and asked what were we looking for. I informed him that we were in search of a chest of drawers so he walked me to the back corner. Maybe my understanding of a chest of drawers is different? From what I've been taught, it is typically a bedroom furniture (you know, the one that goes in the bedroom where you store clothes?). In any case, he showed me something that looked more like a display cabinet typically for the living room. It was a beautiful case but, not practical for what I was looking for. Price - oh boy! The display case I was shown was $900+ The employee stated it was solid wood so I suppose that justified the price. Other items in the store were also pricey. I looked at a beautiful, solid wood again according to the employee, queen-size bed. When I asked for the price, he stated "approximately $11,000 for the set" which must be bought together. If I wanted just the bed, I would not be able to get it; set only. Delivery to Ewa Beach area would be about $150 (I am not sure the cost to deliver elsewhere). The store was packed with all sorts of "oriental" furniture. Their Facebook page states that the furniture is manufactured in their own factories but I'm not sure where those factories are located. When I asked where the furniture is from, the employee stated that they are from Japan, South Korea, and other Asian countries. He even showed me a display cabinet called Korean cabinet; only named so but not made in Korea. The store has some beautiful furniture with unique designs but it was not what I was looking for. Even if I loved something there, like the bed for example, the price was much too high for what I would spend.

Are you looking to have custom furniture made, well keep looking as this isn't the place for it…read more So I had ordered a custom made desk and paid exactly 8,376.80 and informed it would be a 1-2 month build period which was completely understandable but it was delivered 4 months later. It was supposed to be a large L shaped desk with a 2 inch thick slab for the top and a corner shelf on top and bottom for electronics or what ever I want to put on it. So after about 3 months of waiting (and helping him fix both his fork lifts, a back hoe, and other things as a discount towards future items...but he did pay me for my services a couple months later) my desk shows up with his employees. And let me tell you, while the top slab looks good...not great...but good, the top shelf didn't sit flat and rocked back and forth there are some huge ugly lag bolts visible on the sides of the 2 inch thick slab legs. The under side supports block half of one of the slots I wanted for my monitor stands and the general value of the desk is worth no where near the 8k+ that I paid. (No worries though I got a free wooden paddle with this purchase so that must make up for it) Upon watching his employees assembly it at my house, I'm also not confident I will be able to move it in the future and reassemble it without having to get new hardware to secure the legs and all with as the holes they go into probably won't survive another round of the massive lag bolts being reused due to power tools during installation. I was planning to get an entire house set, like dining room table, bed room set, coffee table, media center and end tables, but now I think my money will be better spent on Ikea furniture where I at least already understand what to expect when I get it home.

I contacted other businesses that are also busy but they were accommodating and even made recommendations.
