This is a must stop when hiking Bryce Canyon. It's a great country style restaurant that has a great menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This morning I had a stack of pancakes with a side of bacon before I go hiking through the canyon. The server was excellent and the quality of the food was superb. Was cute simple restaurant 10 min from Bryce city in tiny town called Tropic. Had a smothered beef burrito with lemonade. All orders come with a loaf of bread and butter which was okay. The burrito came with some kind of rice that I couldnt tell what it was other than scraped from the bottom of the pan...as some of it was burnt and hard. Im guessing was supposed to be Spanish rice. I was really hungry and just focused on eating the burrito which was filled with lots of shredded beef and was satisfying. Prices were inexpensive and they had a reasonable selection of beverages and desserts mostly pies and cakes. read more

Headed out to a Willis Creek and the Ruby's Inn was packed with bus loads of tourists so we decided to give this place a try. Service was super slow, but there was o my one waitress and she worked her butt off, didn't screw our orders, and kept our cups full of coffee. Breakfast was delicious and kept our bellies full for the entire day until we finished hiking at 6pm. Clean, Friendly staff. The menus has good options (we were there for lunch) I loved the fresh battered onion rings. We had the burgers with regular fries and seasoned fries. The fries were fresh and hot. The burgers were juicy and had wonderful flavor. We will definitely come back again! read more

Stopped in for dinner on a gorgeous night and were disappointed that they did not offer outdoor dining as advertised. So we took the food to go, which can be problematic if you are looking for a hot meal as it's meant to be prepared. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised as all of the food was delicious. Fried shrimp remained crispy, Cajun pasta was flavorful with a nice spicy kick, trout dinner with fresh steamed vegetables and chicken quesadillas were all very tasty! I had the salmon with mango salsa with rice pilaf and the mixed vegetables. DH had the pan fried trout with mashed potatoes smothered w gravy. DD had the flavorful pasta primavera with chicken. We each were very pleased with our meals. Both of the pan fried fish were seasoned well, seared on the outside, moist inside. We shared the slice of tasty blueberry pie with flaky crust served with 2 scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream. Service by Sylvana was pleasant. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We had a good breakfast here. I had the veggie omelet, English muffin with cream cheese, and OJ. My husband had scrambled eggs, hash browns with onion, toast, and OJ. The portions were very generous, so I got a to-go box. We forgot to use the 5% off coupon they gave us at the motel next door. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with a cowboy theme. Our server was nice and checked back on us several times. Our only quibble was the OJ was a little sour and the hash browns were kind of dry. From the other reviews, I wish we had been here for the dinner service so I could try the portobello appetizer! read more

We drove from Torrey to Bryce Canyon today and needed to eat breakfast before we got out to the park. We chose Rustler's. Our waitress Gabby was very nice. I ordered waffles and waited forever, and then found out the machine was broken. So they brought out some pancakes and bacon for me which also took a while, but didn't charge me for my meal. The service at the restaurant was very welcoming and accommodating despite being a bit slow with nobody else there. The bathrooms are very clean and the food was very good! read more

Very nice. People were waiting an hour next door for BBQ so we went next door and were sat immediately. We got the BBQ chicken and pesto pasta and both were very good. Portions are huge! My fiancé and I were on vacation and in Tropic for the night. The food here was inedible. I had ordered the chicken quesadilla and the flavors ranges from bland to plain gross. Again, very few places open during the winter season. I had the Blueberry Waffle combo, they charge extra for combos, so my eggs, bacon and waffles came out to close to $13, didn't even get any toast or hash browns. The waffle was equivalent to what you would make at a continental breakfast at your hotel. But I have to say, the fresh blueberries on top were the best darn blueberries I've ever had! They were huge and juicy, they tasted like they were just picked. They offer free Wi-Fi. read more
