    Shrimp and corn coblett

We stoped here for dinner after visiting Bryce Canyon, the waitress and service was very friendly and our meals came very quickly. I had the ribs and baked beans. The ribs were very good and feel off the bone, but the baked beans were just OK, they use a little spice or something. My wife had the shrimp and really enjoyed them. Overall not too bad.

A great find in Tropic UT. Really hit the spot after a day at Bryce National Park. I have the New York Strip with fresh vegetables (broccolini and carrots) with a baked potato. We also had the BBQ ribs and mozzarella sticks. Our only criticism was the Marina with the mozzarella wasn't very good but Miley let us know they knew and were playing with the recipe.

My father and I stopped in for a late breakfast and enjoyed our steak/ eggs and French toast/bacon. We were glad we saved space for the five fruit pie and caramel apple.

Pretty good food! We got the combination plate which came with ribs and chicken and we got sides of a corn bread muffin and fries. The ribs were fine, the corn bread muffin was okay but a little flavorless, but the fries were really good.

In the tiny town of Tropic, Utah this was a real find! For dinner we all had loaded potatoes with brisket. The service and food were fabulous! So we returned the next morning for breakfast. Still had great service and breakfast was perfect! Requested extra crispy bacon and it was just like I prefer it! Great stop. Attached grocery store for necessities and ice cream!

We were on our way to Bryce Canyon and this was one of the options outside of the park for lunch. We were seated right away and the restaurant was not busy. Our server was very attentive. I got the chicken caesar salad and it was alright. My chicken was a bit overcooked, but the dressing and rest of the salad was good. Coffee was tasty. There is only one bathroom available so when it gets busy I'm sure it could be a little annoying.

    Fried Green Beans

This is a solid place for a good meal. Clean and staff is friendly and helpful. We started with Fried Green Beans which were my favorite of everything! So crispy and the green beans were tender yet not overcooked. My husband ordered Chicken Quesadilla which was a huge portion and quite tasty! There was plenty of chicken in the oooey gooey cheese! My Cheeseburger and Onion RIngs really hit the spot. Nice medium sear on the burger and still juicy. Onion rings were crispy rings with actual onions inside. Great experience and good food!

About the only spot in tow that to eat when traveling through, cheap low quality food at the price of quality food.

We got the lunch buffet-- some nice classic cafeteria options-- smoked chicken, pulled pork, and meatloaf along with mashed potatoes, gravy, beans, etc. some steamed veggies too. The salad bar was average. The turkey rueben with fries was the better choice. The soft serve was really good with chocolate and caramel syrups. Overall did the trick with run of the mill quality food. Like that they had hot sauce at the table.

Getting in late it was the only place open after 9 and it was either buffet style or order off the menu. After taking a quick look at the buffet, we knew we may be in for a sub-rate meal so we cut our losses and save $15 and ordered shrimp off the menu. One of us got coconut shrimp and the other grilled shrimp and we split them between us. The one bright spot was the shrimp came with a decent amount - 10 coconut and 8 grilled. However the food was quite bad...the shrimp had no flavor, even the coconut one. The fries were horrible. The asparagus was not cooked or even fit to serve. I dropped one on the floor and I was surprised it didn't go through the floor. Service was also bad- really tried to rush people in and out. The drinks came without any straws or refills. The restaurant was large and somewhat clean but also cramped around the buffet area. Came back for breakfast because it was included with the stay. Breakfast was only buffet style. Worst bacon ever. The bread was quite stale. The potato cubes were flavorless. The canyon was lovely and the room here was fine, but do yourself a favor and find some alternate food.

First off, we totally missed the truck but was able to find it using gps. The truck is small and runs next to an RV Park. We ended up parking on the street and just walked to find it. The signs were helpful and the blue truck color made it stand out. We were greeted by a very friendly server and answered our questions. We have never had a Birria so we wanted to order one since the photos from the business owner looked good. I have to say that the photo and the meal served did not match. We felt a bit deceived, since it didn't look nearly as delicious as the photo. However, we were pleased to try the soft birria and shared one between me and my husband. It was good but not special. I guess u can't really expect mind-blowing from a simple food truck. Sad to say we were not able to take a photo. We were so hungry after driving for hours from Monument Valley- we were hangry. After eating 1 birria and 2 tacos, we ended up getting more food somewhere else. In as much as I would like to support small businesses, I think some work needs to be done. Modifying the menu to make it clearer or perhaps creating a menu with pictures to help. Bottom line? I would recommend it if you're craving for some tacos and Mexican food in the area since there really aren't that much to choose from.

From the outside, the restaurant looks like a 'sit down and be served' place, however, it is ran like a fast food restaurant. Whereas, you go up and order at the counter, and the very busy cashier, server, order taker, takes your money, and eventually will bring your food out. We lucked out and there was no one at the counter when we walked in. However, by the time we left, there was a long line waiting to order, probably about 20 minutes just to order. I only saw one cook in the back, but there may have been someone else. The food was remarkably very good. Also, this is Utah, so expect the 'third degree' and a caution to not take your beer outside should you choose to have a beer with your dinner. They ID everyone if you order a beer. You have to do your own bussing, and be prepared to sit down at a table that has not been wiped down. They need a larger staff in my view. I will probably not return as Kanab as several other options for dinning.
