Grilled trout over wild rice pilaf and broccolini
    Janet S.

We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately. Make sure you have your ID if you plan to imbibe as they scan it at the entry. Service was efficient and our food arrived quickly. We had the grilled trout w/wild rice pilaf and broccolini, a burger & pear salad. Our grilled trout was delicious, but my friend who had the burger had fries that were cold.

We dined here for all three nights that we camped in the park. Each night we were met with smiles, upbeat welcomes, and great service. No matter how busy the dining got, the wait staff were efficient at getting everyone taken cared of. The rustic dining room was a perfect ambiance for national park lodge dining. On the first night, we both had the warm trail bowls. One with chicken and one with salmon. The wild rice, quinoa grains were toothsome and generous. The green chile gave it the right amount heat to make things interesting. The chicken was tender and moist. The salmon was cooked perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Night two, we had the burger with a small wedge salad sub instead of fries and the grilled rainbow trout. The wedge salad sub was an extra $5 charge, but was the perfect accompaniment to the burger. This should be a suggestion printed on the menu! The grilled rainbow trout was much bigger than I expected. It had a crispy crust and moist and tender inside. I found a few small pin bones, but no problem. I know am eating fish. The wild rice and brussel sprouts side was flavorful and yummy. We really enjoyed this meal. On our last night in the park, we splurged and shared a full size wedge salad and a 14 oz ribeye (plenty for us). We knew we'd enjoy the salad. The ribeye was perfectly cooked to our requested temp. We topped off dinner with the apple crostata. It was just the right amount of sweet to cap off a terrific dinner. We were pleased to find that they carried a non-alcoholic beer (Corona). A special shout out to Maria R and Michael M who took great care of us over the three nights. Your upbeat attitudes and friendliness made our meals at the BCL special. Thanks!

Everything came out hot and prompt! Everything was served with so much love. We were so impressed and we truly wish we had more time to enjoy dessert !

Well, this is a rustic restaurant. Lead by Ed we had a delightful, if up and down experience. Starting off with drinks we had an Amber Ale that was full, bold, and delightful. I had an Old Fashioned that tasted like water and cheap vodka. Not what I expected. We then dug into a Brussel sprouts appetizer that was crisp, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. On to our main course. We were not too hungry, so I had a chicken quesadillas which was very tasty, but overshadowed by too many soft and flavorless onion. Loved the light cheese and the sauces were cupped for dipping. My companion had a Cesar Salad with Salmon. It was perfect! Overall, a good experience, I give it a solid "B".

Not bad meals, venue, and service for a national park. The food is a bit pricey, but still good quality. This is a proper sit down meal -- not something you would expect for a national park. This place gives more French fries than the actual meal. The grilled cheese and black bean burger both have taste.

Food was excellent finally found a place that made better salmon than my own. Service was quick and the restaurant had an old cabin zine to it with plenty of seating.

Great food, great service consider you are in a rural national park. Apple pecan salad was tasty. Wings were crisp, and burger are made just right.

Extremely glad to say that the $22 burger was really good and tasty! I was contemplating leaving the park to get a cheaper eat but I don't regret eating in the park at all, really great experience. I did go wanting a prickly pear margarita but they no longer offered it, but the mango margarita was pretty good too.

I went on a weekday evening right when they opened, and it was a short wait (less than 10 minutes) to be seated. Throughout the visit, all the staff I interacted with were very friendly. I got the trail bowl ($15) which is actually one of 2 vegan entree options they have. I like that their menu has options for people with different dietary preferences including gluten free options, and everything is labeled clearly, including the ingredients used. The bowl was ready in 15 minutes and unfortunately tasted bland and flavorless. It was dry and could use some kind of sauce. At least the ingredients are nutritious and filling which helped after a long day of hiking.

This is the only restaurant in Bryce Canyon National Park so we decided to give it a try for lunch. We didn't stay at the Lodge itself. We were seated right away and the restaurant was not busy. The Caesar salad was excellent and I really liked their Starbucks coffee. So why only 3 stars? First off, we were given extremely sticky menus which we warned our waitress about and she seemed offended by that. She was also inconsistent with her service. She took our order quickly but after we got the food she disappeared for quite some time. Also, she asked both of us to put the plate down ourselves and I have never been asked that before so this was a first and very awkward.

I don't ever expect anything great from a national park restaurant, but this was a nice surprise! After coming here for lunch, we decided to try our hand at dinner. I didn't order anything except for a bowl of chili, and I must say, this was probably the best bowl of chili I've had in my life! I could not recommend this more! I chose this after reading other Yelp reviews, pointing this entree out, and like I said, I'm incredibly happy with the choice. Ambiance wise, the seating was cozy and nice. The interior decor felt appropriate and very national Parkesque. The 4-star review comes from the service. Our waiter was very nice, but after taking our order and delivering our food, he seemed to disappear. We wanted to order dessert but ended up not doing so after waiting for our waiter to come to our table 20 minutes later. It also was incredibly annoying how difficult it was to get our bill correct. We had to tell the waiter 4 times how we wanted the bill split (we just wanted 2 bowls of chili and a salad on a separate check) but he did not understand and we finally gave up after trying so many times. Some wait staff training is definitely needed. Outside of this, stick with the chili and you will not be disappointed! Side note, several others in our party said the breakfast buffet was great for its price point and options, so I'd give that a try if you're in the area as well!

Reasonable good Park food as one can expect out in the middle of no where. Service can vary between great to ambivalent depending on your server, hey it is park employees. Had a good Fourth of July dinner and 5th buffet breakfast.

The dining room at the Lodge is an acceptable option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with a wider variety and more reasonably-priced options than you'll find at other Aramark-run Lodges at national parks The breakfast and lunch buffet aren't terrible, and the menu offers something for everybody, including some healthy options.

The plates were cleared on a timely basis and the drinks were filled. It was clean at the buffet. Luis, was our last server in our dinner (our last night). He was friendly and funny! We had lunch on our first and second day, both servers were very friendly and cordial! Lunches (4-stars): We chose the buffet and 1-had the Hamburger with cheese. My sister said her burger was moist and tasty and fries hot and crispy. The buffet for lunch was served on one side of buffet tables with salad and dessert and soft serve ice cream having their separate areas. For lunch, the buffet had a soup area with 2-different soups, corn bread (was a bit dry), and one other item, which I forget. Next to it, was grilled chicken, fish fillet, orange chicken and 2 others; next were the main meats like barbecue pulled pork (very moist and tender), meatloaf and mixed vegetables; next were rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, mixed beans that were tasty. There was a big pile of soft sweet dinner rolls. The salad had all the basics of what you would see in a salad buffet with 4-dressing choices, I believe? For $18, you can't beat the price. We went back for the pulled pork and fish fillet. My sister loved the dinner rolls!! The dessert had just a few items cut in small pieces like orange jello cake, coconut cake and chocolate cake. The orange jello cake was yum! The chocolate was a bit hard. The soft serve ice cream had a cone or cup to fill vanilla, swirls of vanilla/chocolate and chocolate! Carmel or fudge topping was provided. I combined a cake with soft serve ice cream. :) Dinner (4-stars): Third night, was when Spain played England for FIFA which Ruby Inn best western showed it in their lobby. Big crowd was there watching the game; so the line for dinner at 5 pm was none at all. We (3) were sat quickly! Dinner buffet was both sides, this time. More meats and sides: pulled pork but different from lunch (tasted more smoky, tender), beef pot roast (seasoned well with lots of gravy, tender), pork loins (a bit tough but was not bad flavor. Didn't finish it, tho due to the toughness). Fish steamed or baked but was a bit overdone. I like my fish flaky. Nevertheless, it had flavor with a tiny hint of heat. Other meats, like chicken baked and 2-others, i don't remember. They added more sides and there was pasta Alfredo, as well! Desserts had similar except the orange jello cake was replaced with strawberry jello cake, and another strawberry whip cream and a vanilla pudding with fruit topping. The soft serve ice cream was same as lunch. Dinner was $28. Overall, we were happy. The price and decent food was a welcome after doing the hikes and sightseeing! Clean and friendly! We could have gone elsewhere but the price and convenience was worth it! It wasn't the Bacchanal buffet in Vegas, but very good despite a few dishes not being perfect! Price was perfect! Good service! Overall, good food!

There's not a lot to do in tiny Bryce Canyon City, Utah. But I think its safe to say that the town's most popular attraction is the dinner show and combo at Ebenezer's. Our experience started off some live pre-dinner entertainment before the dining room was called row-by-row to hit the chow line. Dinners included steak, chicken, salmon, or BBQ (Pulled pork and chicken). After your entrée was plated, you go down the buffet line for beans, mashed potatoes, veggies, cole slaw, and a dessert. I had the BBQ plate of chicken and pulled pork and enjoyed it a lot. Live music was provided by the Bryce Canyon Wranglers that fielded a rotating lineup of keyboards, guitar, bass, male lead vocals, pedal steel guitar, female vocalist, fiddle, and harmonica. These are some serious songwriters and musicians who have collaborated with the Bellamy Brothers, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Maddie and Tae. Some have appeared on Broadway and television. They entertained us with songs by country music royalty! Hank Williams Marty Robbins , Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie , Glen Campbell , Ronnie Milsap, Johnny cash, Dolly Parton, Kenny Roger's, and George Strait were all represented. It was a night of good clean family entertainment and comfort food.

We waited about 15 mins to get our order taken, and after we placed our order, we waited about 40 mins to an hour for our two burgers and a salad. A larger party that was seated after us was given their food and almost finished it before we were given ours. We actually had to ask a staff member if our order got lost in the queue. We ordered two Rustler's burgers and one Caesar salad. The burgers came with onion rings, barbecue sauce, and cheese, along with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions on the side. Never have I ever had a burger that was so plain and unseasoned. I don't think they seasoned my burger patty or fries at all. Even the onion rings in my burger were floppy and soggy.
