I'm writing this review for my brother. Anthony (The Owner) runs his business out of his Garage but that doesn't mean it lacks professionalism & good costumer service. He has all the right tools and specialty machines. My brother took his suzuki gsxr 750 to him (It was running like c!@#) . Anthony took it for a test drive and told us the fuel injectors needed to be cleaned. He has this special machine that he used to cleaned them. Wow!! Anthony is the most amazing person I have ever met. This man took customer service to the next level. My bike was sitting at my old shop for three weeks. They told me they couldn't find the problem so I had to go pick it up. I contacted Anthony and he instantly offered to pick it up and take it to his shop. I really enjoyed this shop I may be new motorcycle but I'm not new to dealing with mechanics not only is the shop owner anthony a no bullshit kind of guy but he'll be honest with u and tell you straight up what is going on how to deal with it your self over the phone I brought my bike in cause I know I don't know enough yet on working on my bike so I wanted a professional look at it and these guys were nothing but helpful to me it's not cheap to come here but if you have the time and money might as well do things right my safety out on the road isn't worth cutting corns on a fast cheap guy that could miss a lot of things like I've seen on my truck. I don't even know how to properly review this guy... Listen (read, lol), I'm not "big" on submitting reviews, but I do understand the utility in them; especially as a consumer... The short version: Anthony comes across as the real deal, and I can almost guarantee that you've never met a more transparent, and ethical, mechanic than he. The long version: I called Anthony on 2/16/17 to ask a simple two-part question: Q: How much would you charge me to install the M4 exhaust on a FZ 07, and have you ever done this job before? His answer: "In all honestly, I have not installed an exhaust on this bike yet, so I cannot give you an exact price before researching the specifics necessary to do the job (it's a model year 2017, so that didn't surprise me); but my ballpark (based on previous pipe work) would be this $xxx." He then went on to tell me that he has a similar bike in his shop now (the FZ 09), and that he wants to check on the similarities before calling me back with an exact quote. I gave him my number, and waited for his response... I also asked him to include a quote for a fender eliminator install, and possibly some LED's... Anthony called me back in about 45 minutes... His quote came in HUNDREDS less than he had projected -- which in all honesty -- I kinda' expected. My bike is a "naked" bike, so there isn't much to move out of the way for a mechanic to do this (these) jobs... To be honest, I actually (initially) called his shop, to determine if spending the money on a professional installation would be more cost efficient than doing it myself (since time = money, to me). After his quote is where things became really interesting... We touched, briefly, on the LED job possibility, and Anthony gave me very logical reasoning for doing it the "right" way, versus the "wrong" way (if you're interested, call him and ask -- cuz the transcript of the convo would be too long for this review, lol). I became a very intrigued customer, however, when I asked him about any "extras" that may be needed to coincide with the exhaust install. Before I could even finish my sentence/question(s), Anthony had already taken over the conversation -- knowing exactly where I was going -- and explained to me, IN DETAIL, why I didn't need to spend the extra money on a power commander for my particular bike (again, a very long transcript, so just ask him if you're in the same boat). I think it's very important to highlight what I'm saying here... HE LITERALLY TALKED HIMSELF OUT OF A HIGHER PROFIT BY TELLING ME, HONESTLY/ETHICALLY, WHAT I DID NOT NEED... He gave a very detailed explanation for what he was EDUCATING me on, and literally earned my business within this chat... We ended up spending about 45 minutes on the phone. Much of the conversation was oriented around his absolute love for turning wrenches, helping bike owners, etc..., and given the notion that I feel very capable of reading the psychology behind people's intentions -- I am certain this dude is as genuine as they get... You (I) could literally hear it in his voice when discussing past customers, current situations, and goals aimed at turning his dreams into realities. Some of the anecdote he leveraged rivals that of the late, great, Sam Walton... And we all know how well that guy made out in the world of business! lol.. Which, for those no so in-tune -- Sam Walton showed us all how customer-oriented business models work wonders, and as a result -- how these "wonders" positively affect profit generation; unfortunately, he's since died -- and his spoiled kids have taken over, messing everything up in the process. I digress.... I will not yet review the quality of Anthony's work, but I am 1,000,000% certain that I am his customer to lose. So long as my bike doesn't blow up in his shop, there is no question in my mind where I'll be taking this, and future bikes, for any sort of service/maintenance/etc... I have no clue whether, or not, there are other mechanics out there with a better skill-set..., but frankly -- I don't care... The ethics this guy has, the transparency, the educational approach, the willingness to go above & beyond -- are enough in my eyes to earn my business... Moral of the story: You want a mechanic you can trust out the gate... A guy who will EXPLAIN to you, in detail, what he's doing, and why... Anthony is your guy... If he messes my bike up beyond repair, I'll post a follow-up review, stating that he's a great and knowledgable guy, but lacks mechanical skills....but until then (which I presume will never happen, based on his 29 years of experience), I am happy to say I'm a Ruthless Kustomz customer so long as I live in this area... After browsing around my different options, and trying to figure out who I should trust my bike with, I decided to go with Ruthless Kustomz. The way the guys accommodate customers is superb! I don't think I've gone to a shop where I feel like they care about the bike as if it was there own the way these guys do. The fact that they gave me a reasonable estimate for changing out my handlebars was a huge plus. I hardly have time to do anything on my bike because I'm busy, but I'm happy to say that I have a shop where I can take my bike to any time! It was a pleasure working with the guys! They made sure to run by any modifications or changes by me before actually doing the job. Then when the job was done they made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work they had done. I had a great experience here. I needed a suspension preload adjustment on my 2014 Honda CBR500R and called in for a quote. Anthony wanted to give me an accurate estimate, so he got my details and gave me a call back a few minutes later. He was flexible with scheduling and when I went in, he realized that my preload was already almost fully set and so took a good chunk off of the original estimate. I was also looking into ways to lower my bike and, though he did provide an estimate for installation of a lowering link, he suggested getting the seat shaved first as it would be much cheaper for me. He stressed that saving money for the customer is important to him. He even offered to get in contact with another shop he knows to get a quote for the seat shaving and sent them a picture of my bike so they could accurately quote. This place maybe great did not get a chance to leave my bike there but Anthony did charge me $95.00 per day for five days I was aware of the price he was going to charge me up front $4500 for labor ,but he did not discuss the storage fee up front if you get cold feet just make sure you definitely are going to pay what he is asking for upfront otherwise if he takes it to his shop and you decide or don't have the cash tough luck he will charge you for daily storage I thought it was too much for storage $489 for 5 days just be aware of the storage fee or by leaving the bike there ,if you can't pay for the labor. Anthony is by far the greatest motorcycle mechanic out there. Our experience, was exceptional. When Anthony works on your bike he takes it very personal. He is very meticulous about his work. As he he is working on your bike, whatever he discovers that's not right he will let you know and explain its importance and relevance to the overall function and performance of the bike instead of doing shoody makeshift patch work. I really appreciate his professionalism not to mention he's a great guy to know. Now where the rubber meets the road, my bike is a 25 years old GSXR 1100 1991 oil cool, it needed a complete overhaul on the valves and carburetors, oil change, brake flush and a few other things. My TL1000R was making some horrible rattling from somewhere in the engine and was not rideable. I started looking for a shop to fix my bike and I came across Ruthless Kustomz, saw that they had good reviews. I called on a Monday and spoke with Anthony. right away I started getting a good vibe, Anthony was patient with me as I explained my bikes problem and I didn't feel rushed. I decided to have Anthony find out what's wrong with my bike. I said ok let me figure out how to get my bike to you, and right away he said I can pick it up! , nice.. Anthony came the next day , picked up my bike, on time by the way. I followed Anthony to his shop and was given a tour of his shop and current projects etc. Anthony was up front about the cost of troubleshooting and how things are done. less than a week later Anthony texted me with pictures and explanation of my bike problems. turns out a bolt came loose in my clutch and fell in to my clutch basket basically destroying my entire clutch basket and putting metal pieces everywhere. Anthony was up front about what the labor cost would be for the repair and he gave me an option of finding the part myself in order to save a lot of money. I found a complete clutch assembly on eBay for 80.00 sent a picture to Anthony and he said that will work. Dropped the parts of and with in a few days my bike was ready to go. picked up my bike clutch was smooth and no more noises, I was pulling power wheelies all the way home. I had a good experience with Anthony at Ruthless Kustomz. he kept his word and did everything he said he would do. I felt in the loop about everything all the way through the process. There are only two words that come to mind when you say Ruthless Kustomz. "Honesty" and "PRECISION". I own a 02 GSXR600, I've had her less than a year and Anthony has been the only one I trust to work on her. Ever since I brought her to him he's treated her like she was his own. The first thing he did for us was a full diagnostic. Then he fixed my cooling system. After that a full tune up was done. That was followed up by testing and rebuilding my fuel injectors with his ASNU Machine; and for everyone that does not know, if your current mechanic does not have an ASNU you should call Anthony tomorrow and switch mechanics asap. After that, he then synced my throttle body and lowered my front end 3 1/2 inches. The performance difference is night and day. My bike responds like it is brand new. He also upgraded my clutch and brake levers; and then adjusted them to my comfort. I have not came across too many people that are as passionate as Anthony is. I honestly think his true payment is watching how happy I am smashing around on my bike. Over the past year we have become good friends, not just business associates. I highly recommend Anthony and Ruthless Kustomz to anyone that loves to ride motorcycles and atvs. He has the fairest prices in the game and isn't afraid to let you look on while he works. Yo this guy just did some work for me on my bike and I think it is well worth it. Didn't just fix my bad fuel injectors, but he was straight up and honest about everything. He said he didn't want to touch my fuel injectors until I got my tank de rusted because that's what was causing the problem. He was straight forward and told me I could have it done somewhere else or I could do it myself. But he said until that is done he won't work on my bike because it won't truly be fixed and he doesn't want me to come back with more problems being caused by a rusty fuel tank. He sends picture updates on everything he did so you know he wasn't bullshitting. My bike runs amazing now! Highly recommend this guy. Good place to take your bike to for repair and maintenance. Owner is very helpful, honest, Pricing is good. Help me clean my bike's fuel injectors and restored back to it's original states. Also show me while he is testing the injector on his test equipment. I was able to see 2 of injectors totally clogged up and 2 were semi clogged after I have let the bike sit for over a few years. I've took it to a Yamaha dealer before they told me, I have 2 bad coils and they didn't have the parts and took $89 from me and it is not even the problem, problem was the clogged injector and bad spark plug. Honestly when I have a problem with my vehicle, I just want it fix and pay for the service, not to have someone just blow hot air and take much money. BTW Ruthless Kustomz also help tow my bike to their shop which save me a lot of hassle from renting a trailer. If you need to get you bike fix right, take it to Ruthless Kustomz. read more
