We went for our anniversary. We thought we could use a e-gift card but it said zero balance when we've never used it before. We decided to stay & enjoy our anniversary dinner there since we've been discussing going for three months. Hopefully the card issue will be resolved in our favor. Anyway, our server was very good & our dinner was delicious. I recommend everything I have pictured plus the calamari (forgot to take a pic). We ordered the sweet potato casserole with pecan crust to go with our dinner the next day. WHEW that was too sweet straight diabetes. It wasn't that sweet years ago (pre-covid) when I had it at the Ruth Chris Baltimore City location. Either way we'll be back & of course I recommend valet. Their valet guy was very nice & professional.

I came here for happy hour. Compared to some of the other locations I've been to, the burger didn't seem as good. The Manhattan also wasn't my favorite. Maybe the food would have been better if I had tried their regular menu. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was nice.

First time going for both my husband and I and it was absolutely amazing. Not one complaint. Service, food, the atmosphere, were wonderful. Definitely recommend going for date nights, anniversaries, celebrations, ect. I like my steak well done and the filet was butterflied and came out perfect. ( I'm always worried it'll be over well done especially since it comes out on a hot plate practically still cooking the steak.)

Wanted a great steak and was in Annapolis so what better place to go than Ruth Chris. Was greeted timely by the hostess and seated immediately. Fresh warm bread with butter was served within a few minutes along with my black cherry old fashioned which was subtly sweet and delicious. Started off with the French onion soup which was hot, oniony and delicious. Ordered the petite ribeye steak with a side of béarnaise sauce (that never came) but luckily the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The side of lyonnaise potatoes were hella good and needed nothing else but to get in my BELLY!! Lastly, I finished it off with the warm apple crumb which looked like a mini deep dish apple crumb pizza that was AMAZING. A fantastic experience and dinner at the Chris!

If you are skipping on the wine dinners then I must assume you are making other poor life choices. Tonight was Caymus wines and an amazing dinner. Talk about elevated. Chef Evan is amazing. And you know you are regulars when we say it's cold and Stephanie Hunter provides a blanket. We look forward to wine dinners every month along with our normal visits. Catherine is an amazing server.

You get a nice warm feeling there. A very large place. Love the entrance, is has a very nice bar. Food- Very pricing for what was ordered and brought to us. The shrimp from the shrimp cocktail tasted old and a bit chewy. My crab cakes had very little lump crab for $50. The server told me that they would be top notch. Wife's petite filet was good. Side dishes had to be sent back because they were warm. Wine selection is large and varied. My old fashioned did not come with a large ice cube, so I reprimanded the server and he changed it out. Classy places serve them with a large ice cube! Service- Felt rushed. Maybe they didn't have enough servers. Ours could have been a bit more matured and experienced. Their smocks need to be whiter. If you are wearing white, it needs to be white and not have that unbleached used look. Value- I don't see it. Stoney River is a better value though their atmosphere is lacking. Wait time- they sat us immediately. Food took a bit long we thought. All in all, disappointed. I went online earlier in the week asking for the best steakhouse in Md. and Lewnes was at the top of the list. We do not have an issue with spending money for dinner but if you are at a top notch restaurant, everything has to be top notch, right?! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g29494-d523105-r1052264894-Lewnes_Steakhouse-Annapolis_Maryland.html#

This restaurant has changed owners and will soon change names. I have had better experiences here…read morein the past. I guess I caught them on an off night. Ambiance: Modern and sassy, but can be loud. I'd say it has a very energetic vibe. Not very intimate because of the, sometimes boisterous, patronage. There is a new dress code, but I didn't see it being enforced on a few. Not somewhere to have a quiet refined dinner, at least on a Saturday. However, there is outside seating, which actually is a little more relaxed, if the weather is cooperative. App steak rolls: These are always a hit when going here. Sadly I think these are going away because the new owners want a more authentic Italian restaurant. Steaks: We ordered 3 10 oz filets. 2 were cooked perfectly, the third was very rare in the center when all of them were supposed to be medium. Part of me thinks the back got the order wrong somehow, because the two others were perfect. Very strange. Truffle Fries: Very yummy, although to me, I felt it needed a tad bit more salt, but there is salt on the table as needed. I would definitely order these fries again.

The fire torches gave it such a warm, romantic feel that we honestly forgot we were in the middle of Annapolis. Perfect for date night. I also appreciate that this is one of those rare places where you can dress up if you're feeling fancy, or go more casual and still fit right in. Service was attentive and welcoming without being overbearing--always a plus. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely be returning (and yes, for more pasta).

We didn't have to wait long as a family with a baby was about to leave. I looked around and the space is modern and clean. There is a bar area that is well lit and inviting if I was dining by myself. The menu isn't your typical Italian menu. There was a chicken fried tofu appetizer, steak frites, smash burgers and snakehead. I don't know what snakehead is so ai went with the catfish carbonara, my friend had the steak frites and my other friend had the Brussel sprouts appetizer and pear salad. We also shared a bottle of red wine. Our dessert was a deconstructed sundae with cannoli bits and delicious. Our server was Brendan and he was fantastic. He answered our questions and checked in and chatted with us for a bit. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the 14oz ribeye and it was okay. I probably would not get it again it was underseasoned and underwhelming. Maybe I need to try them Again when it is not a party of 20+ people.

Alexander's once before, and it was good enough for me to come back--and it did not disappoint. For this area, the cost was surprisingly budget‑friendly, especially considering the quality. The town center around it has clearly changed, with several stores and restaurants closed and even the old adjacent parking lot gone. But once we walked inside, the experience was excellent. Our server was friendly, helpful, and honest with her recommendations. My daughter and I both ordered the Chicken Palermo, and it was outstanding--fresh, tasty, and served in portions that rival anything back home in Texas. The broccoli was delicious, and I swapped one side for Brussels sprouts, which were just as good.

For a restaurant with a full bar, it was surprising they had no mezcal and were supposedly out of top-shelf bourbon, yet still served me a drink that tasted overly sweet and nothing like the premium bourbon I ordered. Another letdown was the lack of bread service. Other J. Alexander's locations usually serve croissants, so having none available took away from the experience. The food didn't make up for it either. The steak lacked flavor and felt low quality for the price. The "fried chicken platter" was basically oversized chicken tenders marketed as an entrée, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and poorly executed. Between the missing staples, questionable bar service, and underwhelming food, this location did not feel worth the cost.
