Everything here was absolutely incredible from the service to the ambience! I'm so excited that Ruth Chris chose to come to Block 59, the energy of the team definitely brings a needed vibrant change to the area. The food was also phenomenal. The standouts for me were the veal ravioli, the calimari, and the fillet. The fillet tasted like butter and was extremely tender.

The happy hour menu probably has the best value proposition in the aurora and Naperville area among high end steakhouses. This is a nice addition to the Naperville block 59 scene. We arrived at 4:30. There was no wait. But if you want to try happy hour food, you will be seated at the lounge area, which is fine. The happy hour menu has bar type of food like burgers. But the quantity and quality were both good. We ordered a large ribeye. It was enough to feed family of four. The meat was excellent. Cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac and cheese was spectacular. They literally put several lobsters on top of each Mac. Real fresh lobsters!

Glorious! We have enjoyed dinner at many different Ruth's Chris restaurants. Each has its own unique character & design. The new one in Naperville is so upscale. The decor and lighting and colors and textures lift your spirits. It's so rich and luxurious. The food is decadent. I love that steak is hot from the beginning until my last bite thanks to the piping hot plates they serve it on! The service is beautiful- so attentive! Our server, Julia- was a delight! And while expensive it can be a lovely relaxed un rushed experience! Best Mark S.

    LAMB CHOPS*

Upon entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted by the hostess who knew we were celebrating a birthday. That was a nice touch. The atmosphere was pleasant and the ambiance was a modern contemporary decor that is pleasing to the eye. All aspects of service were stellar. From the waiters to the support staff and a brief visit by a manager, to wish our birthday girl a happy birthday, felt like the training on communicating to customers a consistent message of genuine appreciation for us dining there was at the top of their list. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu items and gave us his honest opinions of the choices we were contemplating. I must admit he was spot on. We ordered the 8 ounce filet and scallops, the lamb chops and crab cakes entrees, the tenderness of the filet felt like butter and perfectly seasoned. Scallops were tender and beautifully seasoned as well. The lamb chops were robust in size and so tasty my that my friend was literally sucking the bones. Crab cakes were filled with 90% meaty crab and very delicious. We also ordered a wedge and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was prepared with homemade Caesar dressing. Very tasty! Wedge salad dressed with blue cheese crumbles and bacon was also tasty. For the appetizers we had the spicy shrimp and calamari. Spicy shrimp reminds you of bang bang shrimp. It really wasn't very spicy but the sauce it was prepared with made it a go to appetizer. The only disappointment in the meal was the calamari. The flavor and the tenderness were pretty standard for fried calamari, but the sauce they poured over it ruined the crispness of the breading making it unpleasant to eat. Couldn't finish it. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and the food tasty and presented on 500 degree plates is a nice touch I have not seen in other steakhouses. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

had a delicious dinner at the Ruth chris in Naperville The service was excellent definitely better than Barrington. all of the food was delicious. I highly recommend.

Yeah, Not as good as when they first opened. Drinks were not good. Sides were undercooked. Servers were friendly though.

Absolutely horrible experience for my birthday dinner. Extremely slow service. Desserts took 45 minutes. No explanation for it.

It was just as good as in the restaurant. We ordered for 4 people. The food was spot on. Tomahawk, 2 Vodka pastas, and the wagyu beef stroganoff. With two brussels sprouts sides, the cheese cake and banana pie. The deserts are to die for! I am amazed this carry-out was just as good as in the restaurant. Well packaged. Still fresh when we got home and as always here, tasty. Well done!

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.

My wife and I were passing near (about an hour away) on Saturday 9-12 and we decided to go out of our way and go. We had an amazing experience from start to finish. I made reservations, but we arrived 15 minutes early and were immediately seated, and were fortunate to sit near the kitchen and could watch and hear everything, how thrilling!!!! Michelle was our server and she is definitely top-notch! She helped us decide on some dishes, wine and even gave us the history of some of the designs that Gordon did when building the restaurant. The decorations and entire restaurant are so appealing The sweet corn soup was amazing. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and the flavors were perfect. The Parker House rolls were the best rolls ever! The entrées were both perfect. We went with Gordon's signature dishes (how could we not). The Beef Wellington melted in my mouth, perfectly prepared and cooked. My wife had the fish and chips and they were a WOW, the cook and flavors were spot on. We split the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was almost better than the entrees. Every bite was a taste of heaven. It was life changing Brent the manager checked in on us, he was friendly and engaging, we talked for quite a while. He found out that I was a huge fan and stopped by while I was going to pick a book to buy. He and the head chef (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) decided to give me a book signed be all the chefs there (along with the book I selected) and a piece of their birthday cake. I was absolutely speechless. The entire experience was amazing and I'll remember it for ever. Brent please thank you staff for us. We appreciate everything you did for us. Gordon, great job!!

Hugo's seasonal specials, and its alignment with gibson's steaks, make it a great option for just about any one. We have been here for lunch and dinner. Always consistent service and quality. It is not a cheap place, but you get what you pay for. We enjoy their escargot, oysters rockefeller, shrimp and grits, and of course the crab cakes. The only thing I ever truly disliked was probably the sushi, but everything else is great. If they could add a couple more hot oyster preparations to their menu, that would be awesome. There was live music, which created a fun and lively vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the experience went downhill after we were seated. We waited almost 30mins before our server came to take our order. I understand that Friday nights can be busy, but guests should still be attended in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Several of the mussels tasted spoiled, which was very disappointing!! The avocado in the crabmeat avocado appetizer was not fresh either (please see picture). There were shell fragments mixed in with the oysters. It honestly felt like they were not shucked properly in the kitchen. Finding shell pieces in oysters is not something I expect from a restaurant at this price point!! The one exception was the frog legs. They were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked beautifully with plenty of butter. That was definitely the highlight of the meal!! Overall, the atmosphere and live music were enjoyable, but the long wait, food quality issues, and high prices made this a disappointing dining experience.

This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too.
