The lunch special was meatballs with rice beans and salad. Delicious! The meatballs were so flavorful - Latin style, don't expect Italian meatballs! The beans had little pieces of pork and bacon inside. So good! The rice was cooked to perfection and the salad had a delicious balsamic dressing. Today I decided to explore a new bakery and came across this little whole in the wall. I was greeted the moment I stepped in the door with smiles and great service. I got a guava and cheese pastry as well as a blueberry and cheese pastry and they were delicious. The decor is cute and different for a Latin bakery. I also purchased a Cuban sandwich for my family and they thought it was great. I highly recommend trying them out if you are looking for a nice homey vibe. read more

I don't how much stars this place can get at once,the service was terrible,I went there two weeks ago,the service was as worst I can be,the customer was talking over my food point me with her finger almost touching it,I asked a paella and it was like whatever less a paella,and she agreed about that was a restaurant for "Doctors" and that is the reason they shopped the food like this,when I asked her to bring me another she refused telling me she didn't cook at that time,what it meant that food was cooked several hours ago,for me I never come back again,that is the worst paella I have eaten in my life. read more

I was actually waiting in line at Dunkin' when I noticed Ruthy's Bakery, so I stopped by to check it out. Nice shop with a lot of different pastries. My favorite is the cheese pastry with a coffee. I believe it was called a cafe con lecha. Staff was amazing and they also take the proper safety precautions which is what we need around this time. You should stop by and check it out. I found this little gem next to Dunkin' and decided to take a look. At first glance I liked that It's decorated like old Davie. The pastry's looks delicious but I wanted breakfast. After looking at the menu and discussing the choices with staff I decided on eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast. It was enough for 2 people and so good. Well how do I start this horrible experience. Probably from the moment we walked in the door and the teenager asked us what do you want.!? Had a great experience here. Beef empanadas were delicious and flavorful. Then I got strawberry chocolate pastelitos which were out of control amazing. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, talked to me and offered suggestions for items. I even got to try a Nutella empanada that was something they made to try out, no surprise because it was also delicious. Just had the lunch size steak sandwich it was half of an entire loaf of home made Cuban bread, seared to perfection, caramelized onions, and shoe string potato fries, it was amazing, wash it down with cold soda, and coffee with pastries for desert. The place is clean, decorated well, and the owner is very welcoming. However, when I walked in none of the employees or owner were wearing masks and they never wore one while taking my order. The person handling my food was talking over the food I ordered and it definitely made me uneasy. The food was okay. I ordered what they recommended and it was a bit dry and the iced cafe con leche was too milky. If they took better precautions when handling and preparing customer's food I would come back to try other things on the menu. read more

I found this bakery while looking for a cake at the last minute on a Friday afternoon and I must say I'm very glad that I did. I bought a cake with strawberries on top along with strawberry filling and this was one of the best tasting cakes I've had in years.
