Called Ruvalcaba Plumbing and left a message regarding a hot water heater problem with a Corona rental unit and Christian returned my call within minutes. He quoted me a max estimate of $1100 if total replacement of water heater was required (quote at or below most other estimates I received from other plumbers) but believed it could well be repaired for much less. My tenants were at work, so I requested he arrive at 4:00pm. He showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermocouple and replaced it in less than one hour. I was charged $150. Other plumbers might well have gone right for the total water heater replacement. Christian was fantastic, I not only would recommend him I already did!!! We had a major hose burst on our water heater which flooded our garage. Luckily we were home at 2:30pm and kept it to minimal damage. I found Christian on Craigslist and called him at 3:20, he asked me to send pics and he immediately gave me a very good price. He explained he couldn't come until the next day, said he would keep me posted with the time he estimated in case he had issues. He communicated with me the entire time. I tried fixing the trim on my bathtub. The water corroded the parts. I had to break the handle and replace the adapter. However, the valve behind the tub was faulty. That was beyond my knowledge and experience. Required welding and things I knew nothing about. Christian came out the next day before any more damage could be done, upgraded the valve and installed the trim and faucet that I wanted. His work is covered under warranty and the results are excellent! Highly recommended. The price was the best around. Not to mention, he was able to do the least invasive work possible.
