BE CAREFUL & WARNED about ADDITIONAL & NOT LEGIT CHARGES/FEES - I ordered RV glass from this distributor which they purchased from Coach Glass directly. After ordering the glass and just before the rep took CC payment, the rep said it is expected to be delivered the following week. I asked for a 2 hr advance notice on delivery day. She said the Freight Delivery company charges $30 to call 2 hrs prior to delivery and they to charge that to me. Then she asked if it was going to a residence and if so, the Freight Delivery company charges $85 so it needed to be added to the invoice. had to charge $85 more (my house is easy access to a major road so no limited access situation). I got a call from the delivery company last Friday giving me a 4 hr Monday delivery timeslot. I confirmed I would get a call 2 hours prior to delivery to ensure I would be home. They said they do not do that. I explained I was charged $30 for that and then spoke with the manager who also said they do not call 2 hrs ahead of delivery and they have never charged for calling a customer to provide the delivery date and 4-hr time slot. The manager confirmed that with the billing dept also. I also then asked about the Residential Delivery fee charge of $85 and the manager said they do not and never have charged a Residential Delivery fee. The are nickel and dime add on customer charges that the actual delivery company does not charged yet I was specifically told by the RV Glass Solutions rep Carrie that the delivery company does charge. I received the delivery today. I did not get a telephone call 2 hrs in advance of delivery (which I was charged for). I called RV Glass Solution delivery company and spoke with the company manager Mike who was rude and uncaring and just said, "you agreed to the charge so you are now responsible for paying it". OTHERS SHOULD BE WARNED. I believe it is illegal to do this. read more

Received a projectile on a Wednesday near Reedsport, Oregon... insurance Co wanted to send a windshield from the east coast and that would take a several weeks. Dealt with this east coast windshield company before and twice they've sent windshields that were broken! That over a moth of waiting!! Called in to RV Glass Solutions to check and they had it in stock! Told Insurance Company that we're going to roll with RVGS since they're only an hour away! RVGS fitted us in where instead of waiting weeks, they had us to come in the coming Monday, but required the RV to stay overnight to do a water check..told us we could come in that Sunday and there's a power hookup only, that we can use. And we can stay in the coach overnight but MUST NOT open the slides or lower the jacks, in order to keep the coach from tweaking while glue is curing overnight.. NO PROBLEM!! When we walked in we me Karie, the project organizer.. she is very pleasant and assuring ... making sure you knew what was going on. They have a lounge with TV, ping pong table and arcade games.. Eddie the technician/installer....tells you what what and how the process goes. Very ice to talk to, and on the ball. The next morning, the techs performed the water test to make sure there weren't any water leaking inside the coach. If not leaking, you're out of there within 1.5 hours.. This is the place to go to for professional work done in a timely manner... Thank you RVGS .....for making our unfortunate situation into a comfortable experience!! read more

My insurance company uses RV glass solutions to facilitate Rv glass claims. It has been over two months since I filed my claim and first talked to this place and they still have not been able to facilitate having my windshield replaced. They don't return phone calls and do not try to do their job unless I am on the phone with them. I have called them 32 times and they have only ever called me one during this process. I very rarely leave feedback unless all my expectations were exceeded. I have to say the Kara did a great job helping me replace my pilot and copilot side windows in my 1996 Fleetwood Bounder. The windows were badly fogged and replacements from Fleetwood were over $1K each. Best place EVER! When I bought my RV on Ebay a few months ago, I was disappointed when I arrived in Alabama to pick it up to find that its windshields were cracked. Not just cracked, but bulging out from their gaskets. I called a nationwide mobile glass RV dealer who told me that my panes (2 of them) would be about $1,200 apiece, shipping to my location would be another $500, and then the installation would be about another $500. There would also be the costs for gaskets and urethane to seal (about $200). All told, to have my glass fixed remotely in Alabama it would cost me around $3,600. The wait for the glass to arrived convinced me to just have the issue looked at once I got the rig home to Oregon. Boy were we happy we did that. My final bill with RV Glass Solutions was about $1,600. A savings of $2,000 on RV glass. This is a central distribution hub for their RV windshields - if you come here with your rig you'll pay no shipping costs! Plus... I had to spend the night in their parking lot before my scheduled 8am appointment, and they have several RV parking spaces with 50amp electrical service free of charge for their customers! Whaaaa!!!!??? 8am, they take my rig into the back of their cavernous building (the former Monaco Factory), and my wife and I are escorted to a customer lounge where our dog is welcomed, the couches are soft, they have satellite television, and all the coffee and/or hot chocolate you care to drink. There's also a side door to allow you to take your dogs out and walk them. At one point the glass technician (Ron?) gets a hold of me and shows me that the new glass panes are fitting correctly (our 20 year old RV windshield frame has shifted slightly). We discuss the problem and decide to grind the edges of the glass slightly to see if that improves the fit. It does. Glass now fits perfectly. The glass technician is a little worried, still and he asks if he could reverse our rig out of the shop, and then connect another power cable to it. This way they can close up shop on Friday afternoon and we're welcome to camp in our RV there behind their shop as we try to maximize the urethane curing and hardening around the new windshields. The customer service at this location, the skills they've displayed and the resources they have on hand is just phenomenal. I just wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars. If you need to replace the glass in your RV, you simply must come here! The savings and experience is Amazing! read more

We spent night prior to our appointment in their lot with 50amp power. Next evening, after work complete, we were able to stay in our rig under cover, again with 50 amp power. In August while traveling in our 2015 Voltage Toy Hauler, we experienced a window break in a vent window in the garage section of our RV. When we got home, I attempted to get it repaired and called several RV repair shops to get the work done. I quickly found most shops didn't want to deal with it and if they did, they wanted to take out the whole frame and replace the whole window (over $1000.00). Stopped a RV glass solutions on my way home from Ariz. in my new to me Monaco motorhome. After making an appointment to re-seal my leaking windshield the next day, we spent the night at one of their 50 amp free hookup sites. They proceeded the next day to carefully examine and leak test my windshield. After carefully explaining what they thought it needed, they cleaned and resealed my windshield perfectly while we waited in their comfy, pet friendly waiting room. This is a review for complete SIDE WINDOW replacement by RV Glass Solutions. In August, 2016 I brought my 2007 Fleetwood Revolution LE Class-A Diesel pusher to RVGS for replacement of ALL dual-pane side windows. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I drove my rig to the Eugene, OR area (RVGS Northwest hub). I spent the night in the rig and flew home (to SFO) the next day. In total my rig was with RVGS for 3 weeks. In short, I could not be happier with the work performed and the product delivered. RVGS handled the entire job and kept my rig safe and secure until I could come and get it. (They are in an old Monaco RV manufacturing site and have PLENTY of room.) Background: I had been seeking a long-term solution for my badly fogged side windows for over 2 years. I considered buying new windows; buying new glass (and installing myself); having the existing windows removed and repaired; OR going with single-pane laminated glass. In the end, I made the decision to go with the laminated glass replacement - and I am thrilled. Here are some details for the curious: Weight - Lam-glass is definitely heavier, but doesn't seem to impact any function of sliding windows. The sash windows take slightly more effort to lift, but not unwieldy. Noise - Seems better (quieter) on the road with lam-glass to me. Sliding - I think that my new windows slide better and easier than the old dual panes. Thermal insulation - Not positive yet, but I have to believe that the lam-glass will be as good or better than dual-pane. I've read a lot of concerns about condensation - but I had that problem with my old windows as well. Pricing - Price was substantially less (30-40%) than buying all new dual-pane windows; comparable to replacing the glass with new dual panes (me doing the work); and 20-30% more than repairing the existing windows (removing, breaking apart, cleaning and resealing). However, all of that said, the laminated glass cannot be compared to dual pane RV glass in my opinion. The laminated glass is far superior and is warranted for life. The best warranty that I could find on dual-pane glass was 2 years. Dual-pane never struck me as a PERMANENT solution. Workmanship - RVGS is excellent. They took care of every detail. I cannot tell that they were even IN my RV. All window coverings have been replaced and work great. Project timing - I believe that my job COULD have been done in 2 days. I needed to leave the RV there due to my work schedule. I will update this review if I think of anything else. Slow response and poor quality work. It took Rv Glass solutions over 1 month after reporting, to replace the windshield in my motorhome. They missed 3 appointment to replace but did show up the fourth time. The replacement leaked the next day when I rinsed it off to check for a leak. It has been over 8 days since I reported the leak and they have still not been out to fix it. Even though they had set 4 prior appointments but failed to show for all. I suggest you find your own glass replacement company rather than accept the one recommended by the insurance company. read more
