It's big beautiful and impressive when you walk in. Whoever designed and did the renovation did a great job. The first red flag was on a hot beautiful Friday evening I didn't see a table where the average age was under 65 years old. Typically not a great sign the food will knock your socks off. Started with drinks, my wife got a painkiller, it was all pineapple no coconut and not very flavorful. I got an old fashioned, i didn't want the vanilla bitters or maple listed on the menu so I asked for a "regular old fashioned." It arrived with bourbon, ice, a cherry and an orange peel, no simple syrup or noticeable bitters. We give the drinks a 4 out of 10. The calamari app looked amazing but lacked flavor and was a little chewy 5 out of 10 not bad but definitely room for improvement. I ordered the Linguine Vongole and presentation was 10/10 but unfortunately lacked flavor 6 out of 10. My wife ordered the Firecracker Salmon and it was bland 4 out of 10. Our server was kind and polite, could have been a little more attentive but overall good service 7 out of 10. This place has so much potential, I hope they improve the food and drinks. The line should be around the block to get in on a Friday night.

Wow! Just wow! My…read moresocks were completely blown off by this place I had yet to hear about let alone step into. My friend who owns a business just up the street suggested we meet there for dinner tonight and boy am I glad she did! This is a top of style restaurant with small portions, but each is packed full of flavor. Everything was excellent! The service, the atmosphere, the food! The food! The food! Every thing I tasted was a delight. There were so many amazing flavor, combinations, and spices and sauces that complemented each dish. We ordered five items and all of them were excellent. I can't wait to go back! My only complaint is I didn't arrive hungrier. I would've and could've tried more items on the menu. I also wish I wasn't so enamored with the food so I could have snapped a few pics. It was just too good!

We genuinely love Marion and were so excited when Cast opened--it's been our go-to for a quick date night with great ambiance. But sadly, this visit was a big disappointment. We ordered the chicken tacos, which are supposed to be pulled chicken, but they came out soggy with tiny bits of flavorless roasted chicken--definitely not what we expected. I couldn't even eat the second one and left hungry. We also got the hot crab dip. The dip itself was good, but the crackers were super greasy. We tried a few different drinks, but none really stood out. The vibe and service is still great, but the food felt really mediocre--especially for the price. After loving this place for so long, we're honestly not sure if we'll be back. We want to support local, but this visit really missed the mark.

Hi. North Jerseyan here. Longtime Yelper. I hereby offer my wholehearted endorsement of Rod & Rail…read moreto anyone visiting or living in / near Cape Cod. Ambiance: Local bar. Not divey, but you walk in and you're basically at the bar. There's bar seating, a few tables on the side, a few in the back. People were eating and drinking wherever. Service: Prompt, friendly. The bartender was the owner, chatting with a local about working where he lives and drinking while he works. But very friendly and open to visitors here. And no overwhelming Boston accent. If you're not local, you'll do fine. Food: OK, I was here on an impulse search for dessert. They happened to have fresh homemade donut holes to go, so I got some cinnamon dusted. And by dusted, I mean WHOA NELLY that's a lot! And the donut holes were also huge. And they came with warm caramel dipping sauce. I couldn't put it down. While I was waiting (again, didn't take long, they were just shaking the topping on in the back), I looked over and saw bar pies that honestly? To this North Jerseyan? Looked like good tasty pizza. In Massachusetts. You have been warned. If you stay on Route 25 to bypass Bourne on your way to or from the bridges, you're not just adding mileage to your car to save a little time. You're missing out on the best place in a country mile.
