Initially CVS told us they could order it no problem, but once the doctor actually sent the prescription over, they basically sat on it for weeks before eventually telling us they couldn't get it after all. Super frustrating considering this was medication my daughter actually needed and we kept getting the runaround. I called what felt like every pharmacy in existence and most of them pretty much immediately said they couldn't help. A friend recommended Home Health Pharmacy to me, so I went in the same day to explain the situation. I spoke with the pharmacist Jason, and honestly the difference in care was immediately noticeable. He told me he could transfer the prescription from CVS, order the medication, and have it ready the very next day. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely put my mind at ease after a really stressful experience. What's even crazier is CVS told us the medication would cost around $600 a month. Home Health Pharmacy was able to get it down to $445, so we'll be saving about $155 every month on this medication. The medication ended up being ready the next day exactly as promised -- actually earlier than I expected. They also offer delivery, which is amazing. Having worked in a pharmacy myself for 7 years, I really appreciated the level of care here. It reminded me of how pharmacies used to feel before everything became giant corporations where you're just another number in the system. You can really feel the difference with a small family pharmacy that actually cares about helping people.

On December 19th 2023 they called my sister and told her they were coming out on Friday that week you pick up their machines whether my nephew had replacements or not that we have been working on very rude very unprofessional. Needless to say no one showed up after I spent 6 hours on the phone fighting to get emergency recognitions done to get his oxygen from another company. No one showed up to pick up the equipment they threatened to my sister over stressed her out severely stressed my nephew And helped put him in the hospital due to his long condition being stressed out did not help. On December 27th I spoke with a driver who apologized said he knew nothing about it and would be out today to pick up the concentrator between 2 and 4 PM. Afterwards I received a call from a nasaly voiced person at valley home medical who basically treated me like garbage on the phone told me that oxygen is a life-saving medicine and they wouldn't just come out and take it away copped very severe attitude with me I told them their stuff would be on my front porch to pick up as it was already set up. We had an issue with them not being able to order several meds in the past, after telling us they could, only to never call us to say they couldn't order it. We sat for days thinking it was on its way when it wasn't. The last straw was a recent visit when the customer service woman with short dyed reddish purple hair and arm tattoos (nothing wrong with that, just for ID purposes since I couldn't get her name) She was so incredibly rude and unprofessional that it turned me off from ever coming back. I got a text that my RX was ready and when I came 2 days later, she said there was nothing for me. She was short and obviously irritated and said "I don't know who sent you that text but it wasn't us" I showed her the text from Burt's Moorpark and she rolled her eyes and said "well there's nothing here. It turned out to be a mixup from my doctor's office but she made me so feel embarrassed and unwelcomed that I'm never coming back. Giving 2 stars for Kimmy the pharmacist who is professional and prompt but didn't say anything when the other lady was so incredibly rude. I'm bummed but have enough stress in my life without being treated like crap when I go pick up my meds.
