My preference is to use the local small business over a chain. The car was returned with undeniable sloppy repairs. The estimate was easily 20% higher than the chain estimate. SS owner was pleasant about my concerns and made the needed repairs. Color match is still off and repairs are still evident. Maybe they had a bad day. I felt the repair was average because it was a fleet vehicle. Quick fix with high profit. Attention to detail was lacking. I will not be going back for future needs.

They basically gave it back to me telling me that I had too much air in the tires(causing pull to left) and that my car had 114,000 miles. essentially: deal with it, it's a Saturn. Unfortunately I am still having alignment issues and the backlash/slop in the trans-axle makes it unbearable to drive in stop and go traffic. It would have been nice to know what was causing the backlash. Do I need a new transmission, new clutch? etc. Definitely had the impression that I was wasting their time from the attitudes I got when I walked in the door. Maybe if I was driving a F350 or a diesel truck, they may have been more interested in working on my car. But from my opinion, I think this is more of a diesel shop that doesn't want to waste time with someones Saturn. Two stars because they checked the brakes like I asked and fixed SOME of the alignment problem.

We both took our vehicles in multiple times to have it fixed, but the problems persisted. Eventually we both went to different shops to have the brakes looked at by someone else. They said that inferior parts were used, and my brakes had a bent part that needed replacement. Both of our brake systems needed to be completely replaced, not even 2 months after going to Dousman Auto Repair. This was simply pure negligence.
