That said, we were not like sardines in a tin, we were comfortable in the space we had. It is probably relevant, though, to mention that two of the 3 people in our party were very small Filipinas. The entrees were excellent. Those were, in no particular order, lechon, Bicol Express and pork belly. We also got a large side of lumpia, which was not bad, but rather, decidedly average, so it suffered in comparison to the superb entrees. Additionally, they sliced it into small diagonal-cut (think of the way ziti pasta is cut) pieces, which I imagine was done for the sake of presentation, but I didn't find it visually appealing in the least. No matter, it's a mere trifle compared to the overall meal. The Sapin Sapin dessert was also fantastic, and somehow we made room for that after eating the generous entrees. The service was attentive and professional without being overbearing. Definitely coming back here again, and so are the two Filipinas (Tacloban and Mindanao). I think that sums it up neatly, right?

As we continued ordering different items, he made more awkward comments, including, "Are you sure you want that? It's the same thing, just made differently." We honestly didn't understand why he was trying to discourage us from ordering. If someone is willing to pay for the food, why try to talk them out of buying it? It left us feeling very unwelcome. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food, which we understood because we ordered a good amount. But when the food came out, there were no pleasantries or anything that made us feel welcomed as customers. Unfortunately, the customer service completely overshadowed the experience for us. Customer service is a big pet peeve of mine. If I feel like I'm being treated unpleasantly or made to feel unwelcome, I'm not likely to return. Safe to say, we will not be going back. As for the restaurant itself, it is very small. There were only about two tables inside, along with some outdoor seating, so I would not recommend it for larger groups. Three people would probably be the most comfortable for the indoor space. The food itself was okay.
