Used appliances can harbor rodent nests, which is a well-known issue in the appliance industry if units are not properly inspected or sealed. When I called the company for help, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. She told me if they cannot make at least $30 from a service issue involving their appliance, it is not worth their time or money to help, and she refused to send anyone out or even address the problem. She then hung up on me. This refrigerator was purchased by my elderly parents, and the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service was shocking. Even the technician who originally came to repair the freezer said nothing about the large opening under the unit.
