A week later I saw it in the sale cabinet, and another week later it sold! I sold it to them for $60. They priced it at $120. So, you have to know more than just the value of the metal! These lunkheads have no clue of the value or history of anything but the obvious. Like that Haida silver jewelry is expensive because it's ALL hammered by hand & hand engraved. While watching the local Chinese TV station, I saw a commercial showing pictures and the information of this relatively new location. Over the years, I used to visit them at the SF location to help friends buy jewelry such as rings, necklaces, and bracelets. I'd also bring pieces here that need to be repaired or resized. A friend lost a small gem from a ring so I stopped here to get it replaced. The store is not very big, probably 1/8th of its former store. I rang the doorbell a few times and didn't get the young lady inside. She buzzed me in and I left my ring and business card with her. The owner George told me that he wouldn't be there until the afternoon. I didn't shop nor did I study their display cases but, if you've been to their old location, it is definitely an abbreviation from what they had there. I found a metered space in front of the store but noticed a driveway to a garage a few feet away in case there are no street spaces available. I am waiting to hear back on when my repair will be ready. Nice to see this business continuing. If you are looking for particular stones or quality types, you may need to make an appointment to make sure he has them available for you to see.
