After many very prompt back and forth messaging via Yelp, I finally found time in my busy mom life schedule to swing by and get my jewelry looked at! Despite my efforts to build a relationship with this local authorized dealer, I've never once felt cared for or like I had any real chance of buying a watch. I've kept in touch via email and have returned to the store a reasonable number of times, yet I've never felt I was given a genuine opportunity. Maybe this is just "the game," and these brands are notorious for prioritizing repeat customers. But you can't become a repeat customer if you're never given a chance to purchase in the first place. While watching the local Chinese TV station, I saw a commercial showing pictures and the information of this relatively new location. Over the years, I used to visit them at the SF location to help friends buy jewelry such as rings, necklaces, and bracelets. I'd also bring pieces here that need to be repaired or resized. A friend lost a small gem from a ring so I stopped here to get it replaced. The store is not very big, probably 1/8th of its former store. I rang the doorbell a few times and didn't get the young lady inside. She buzzed me in and I left my ring and business card with her. The owner George told me that he wouldn't be there until the afternoon. I didn't shop nor did I study their display cases but, if you've been to their old location, it is definitely an abbreviation from what they had there. I found a metered space in front of the store but noticed a driveway to a garage a few feet away in case there are no street spaces available. I am waiting to hear back on when my repair will be ready. Nice to see this business continuing. If you are looking for particular stones or quality types, you may need to make an appointment to make sure he has them available for you to see.

This made me feel a bit at ease, as we were just planning to go in to explore our options and become educated in picking out engagement rings. They responded very quickly to my dm and helped me make an appointment, answered any questions I had, and added me to a text chat where I could send in some ring inspos and what styles I was looking for. We came a bit early, but they were able to accommodate us. We were guided to a table reserved especially for us and were offered champagne or sparkling juices/water and some cookies as snacks. Our jeweler, Lyn, was very easy to talk to and she made us feel very comfortable during the entire appointment. We told her that we didn't have much knowledge about picking out a ring and what to look for, but she was able to help us through the entire process and guide us through all of those steps. We had a ring design in mind already and we showed her the photo and she was able to show me the similar setting, diamond shape, and carat size, against my finger. We tried on different band widths to see which one I liked better, went over the 4 C's (color, clarity, cut, and carat weight), and explained to us what they meant. She showed us different diamonds in different carat sizes and the differences in clarity grade between them. My bf and I really learned a lot during our consultation and are very glad we booked an in person consultation with Hung Phat.
