Handel's is a takeout only ice cream parlor with over 100 flavors. I've seen this chain featured on social media and was ecstatic to learn they had arrived in the Charlotte area. The Handel's in Indian Land is located in Red Stone. It's in the back side of the shopping center across from Margaritas so you may not immediately see it when you drive in the shopping plaza. There is a lot of parking including spaces in front of Handel's. I went late Sunday evening and walked straight up to the window. The staff was patient as I asked questions. They have sugar cones, waffle cones, waffle bowls, and blended ice cream treats. I decided on a chocolate dipped waffle cone with Cheesecake made with Oreo ice cream. My cone was creamy, decadent, not overly sweet, filled with cookies and cheesecake chunks. The cone had at least two large scoops, more than I could eat.
