The driver wanted to come a half hour earlier than scheduled (I said No because I wasn't ready); then went to the wrong house and was late; and he did not stay at the medical facility during my procedure, as required. To top it all off, the billing department charged me for an extra hour of waiting time, and has refused to return any of my 4 phone calls to rectify the problem. You have been warned!!

I live up a flight of 18 stairs, and I'd had foot surgery, so I needed someone who could get me up…read moreand down those stairs. I called ahead and made reservations for the trip home from the hospital, and then for two round trips for follow-up appointments. I made sure to tell them about the foot situation and the 18 stairs. The trip home from the hospital went off without a hitch. However, the first follow-up trip was a disaster. I had called that morning to confirm my reservation. Since they had worked with me before, had my address, and knew about the stairs, I thought they would have kept this information in the notes. Well, for whatever reason, the crew arrived at my home without the equipment needed to get me up the stairs. They went back to get this equipment, and I tried three times (unsuccessfully) to contact the doctor's office. The crew also tried unsuccessfully to contact the doctor's office. This part is the fault of the doctor's office, since they never answer their f'ing phone. The crew did get me to the doctor's office....only for me to be told upon arriving that the doctor had left for the day. Hospital to Home goofed by not having the equipment ready; and the doctor's office goofed by never frigging answering their phone. I don't think I should have to pay the doctor's office for the missed appointment. And I think Hospital to Home should at least give me a hefty discount for this wasted trip. ---------------- In the interest of fairness, I am providing this update. I was contacted by Hospital to Home, and we discussed what could be done to rectify the matter. I was issued a refund for the charge made for the botched service, and a note was included in my file addressing the need for special equipment to navigate the stairs. I would like to commend Hospital to Home for this gracious resolution, and good service.

i would not recommend this business, we were charged an $100.00 by the driver above the $360.00,…read moreas he refused in his text, to pick up my family without paying the additonal $100, amount, and as noted in the agreement their were 3 and my husband in wheelchair 4 in total family members, and we were picked up at the staple mills, 18 miles from the hotel, amtrak station, not the air port, and my husband was not a patient, he was in wheel chair, you are lying company, with a driver, that took advantage of an out town family without options to get my husband, who was in wheel, chair back to the hotel, and by the way the from the hotel to restaurant was 18 miles each way. and again it was not transport from the air port, i have the agreement, i given you a bad review on the better business web site. additionally, we have pictures of him taking the cash, and arriving the sunday, with a broken down filthy van, that would only accomodate, my husband and son, my daughter and i, were in fear for our life, as we were forced to ride to the amtrak station with a complete stranger in a private mercedes, the driver advised us, that we did not have to pay for riding with this stranger, again you are horrible company, i would suggest you read the text he sent us regarding the additonal 100.00 dollars.

We went on several calls that day and took the patients to various hospitals in the area. I could tell the EMT's were very caring and well trained. My hat's off to the outstanding members of TVRS!

Prior to each shift, they sent an email or text to let me…read moreknow which caregiver would be covering the next shift, (i.e: by 8 PM I might receive a text message letting me know that caregiver A would be taking my 8:00 AM-4:00 PM shift, Caretaker B would take the shift from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, and Caretaker C would be taking 8:00 PM-8:00 AM). The company can also provide a live in provider if one wishes. Each administrator was very kind, very patient, very helpful and very communicative. I am grateful to each and every one of them! Although my insurance, (private non-Medicare or Medicaid), would not approve of this service for me, I found the price reasonable considering all that I would need from the people coming in to take care of me. Caretakers take care of any number of activities while they are with you, such as light housework, (dishes after eating, sweeping or mopping a mess made by a client/patient, doing a load of laundry, if need be, and making beds. My CAN's helped coach me through home exercises from my knee replacement and through walking laps in my own home. One special mention of note: On Monday, my Caregiver was helping me prepare for a doctor's appointment when my heart went into serious arrythmia. Care with Love's Registered Nurse Laura, advised us to call an ambulance and go to the hospital. My caregiver not only followed the ambulance to the hospital but remained with me until her shift was over. The next day, she arrived promptly at the beginning of her shift despite the fact that I was still in the hospital. She did so the next day as well, remaining from start to finish of her shift, and fussing over me like a mother hen!!! I am home again, and able to (mostly) take care of myself. I will greatly miss my caregivers. Care With Love helped me through the most difficult time I've ever had as an adult. I am so grateful for their help~ Would I recommend them?? YES! Emphatically! Would I use them in the future if needed? Absolutely!!! Should YOU pick up the phone and call Care with Love?? You BET!
