The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. I found them by asking my neighbor who painted her house exterior. I hired them to do the same to our cedar home, which included replacing a few rotten pieces of wood on the house and rebuilding our front porch. They do more than painting. As mentioned, they can rebuild a wood porch/deck and the owner told me that they also install flooring and other indoor jobs. Our house looks beautiful and I feel secure that it will make it through this winter without any further deterioration thanks to all their hard work finding and replacing any weak/rotting wood. We have a new front porch that is safe, sturdy, and attractive. The owner also pays attention to detail and knows how to help you choose a color scheme that will look good. The first color we picked for our house was too light and he knew this as soon as he painted a small section. Before continuing on, he asked us to look. We agreed it was not a good color and chose another color. Luckily he had only bought a little paint in that first color (that we did need to reimburse, which is expected) probably because he knew we wouldn't like it! Other companies would probably just paint the house in any color without suggesting that it's not the right look. Any time we have another project, we will definitely call Pimentel Painting.
