Went for lunch with my co workers around 1p. I ordered the catfish dinner with Mac/Yams and ordered green beans with it. Everything was DELICIOUS! The catfish was well seasoned and fresh. The sides were FRESH. You won't be able to finish all of your food in one sitting. The service was really good and quick. She was super friendly! The ambiance was great also, it was clean and the floors smelled like cleaning products. Which was a good thing. I enjoyed myself and the food. Food was so good, I ordered another dinner to go. Finally S2 Express Grill Opens Up In The South Suburbs!! I usually go to their Chicago location and they always have me coming back to try different food on the menu . Today i had their Buffalo chicken rolls and their Philly cheesesteak sandwich!! The food was hot n fresh! Not every place makes phillys the right way! This sandwich was delicious! The Buffalo chicken rolls were on point not too spicy with some ranch on the side . Great food and good quality at a very reasonable price! I'll be back soon guys haha ! I hate when I get excited about trying a new place & have a disappointing encounter. First, if your blood pressure is high, this isn't the spot for you, because some of the food is too salty. Second, when a customer orders or requests something, it's because that's what they want, so don't take it upon yourself to substitute it, when you're not aware if they'll like it, or can even eat it. Third, the responsibility falls upon the establishment if something goes wrong as a result of you not following customer requests. For the most part, the presentation was ok, minus the feathers that were left on my wings. I question how long the food had been packed before the driver arrived to pick it up, because I'm only a few blocks away, and the food was cool & soggy & no, there weren't other stops made along the way. I also ordered CHEESECAKE, but somehow received CHOCOLATE cake. Not even close to being the same. Had to check my receipt to see if it was a mistake I made, but nope, it wasn't. Who told them I like chocolate? How do you know if I'm allergic or not? Are you willing to risk that lawsuit? Supposedly the driver said he called & I didn't answer. Sooooooo...that means give me something I don't want, instead of taking it off the order? My life is more valuable than $3.99 & I spent too much money to be unhappy. My first time visit to S2 restaurant, the food was delicious, the service was remarkable and I'm definitely going back

The food was excellent Darcy was top of the line in customer service every thing was excellent until I got my bill a.d there was an additional 18.00 charge for a party of 2 for eating in the restaurant. I was livid. That is one of my favorite places to eat and I was told the new charge was added 2 weeks ago to make up for a 600.00 bill where a group ate and ran. I should not have to pay for someone else's crime. That upset me tremendously but I paid it but pprobably won't be back because that surcharge was the price of another meal and with inflation and I'm a senior on a fixed income when I do go out ots a saved up treat and I should have been verbally told before I ordered that to sit in the restaurant would cost me 18% of my bill. Greatly disappointed I. Just that. It literally ruined my special occasion. So if you don't mind paying for the crime of someone else S2 grill is a great place to eat hands down read more

I went into the Orland location , I asked if they serve alcohol which it states in the website. The young lady behind the counter stated no we only sale shots . I'm confused because that is alcohol, then I asked to purchase a shot and she said she can't she's not old enough. When my food came, it was over cooked pasta (almost mushy) and fake crab. I didn't complain; however the server noticed I wasn't happy. She insisted on taking it back and gave me a Shrimp & Chicken Pasta. It was better. More like a cheese sauce- not alfredo. Fake crab pasta for $20!! Too much. The prices are high period. I came in at 6:36pm placed a order. Waiting patiently for my food. Then at 7:30 the cashier says we don't have any Turkey leg. Yea, and hour later. But made the rest of my order. Didn't mention nothing about one of my dinners not being available just proceeded to make a incomplete order. That's not it though....so the cashier says you can pick something else. I say okay give me the pot roast dinner. She says okay. Mind you it's an hour later and my other dishes are done. Pot roast $21 Turkey leg was $19. She said yea you owe the difference. The manager on the phone saying you can get something else in the same price range and be refunded. Miss $19 and $21 are in the same price range. But hey you know what they say about common sense. We ordered short beef ribs with baked potato and rice, lamb chops with Mac n cheese with dirty rice, chicken and velvet waffles. The young man to take our order was extremely pleasant and helpful, everything cooked to order so about a 20-30 minute wait (average) sides I would say were slightly bland but the main dishes were very good 8 out 10! Wide selection of food so a little something for everyone. The pound cake was not good at all, brownie cheesecake was good tasty rich and the carrot cake was good. The best Restaurant ever.. on August 11th around 3:30pm after eating my scrumptious meal, I left my purse at the Orland Park location in error, got home and recognized my error..called the Resturant and the Host stated they had retrieved my purse and was holding for me.I returned within 45 minutes and was so relieved to get my purse.. .not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent and the staff was very alert and honest.I shall return to dine again and recommend & encourage others to dine there also read more

Everything is fantastic! Lamb Chops are flavorful and juicy. The beef short ribs are extremely tender and fell off the bone. The Mac N Cheese is my favorite side but the others are excellent as well. The inside is modern and nicely decorated. I highly recommend it. read more
