Bought a mango pomelo sago smoothie and I agree with a older review it tasted nothing of mango, just a bland coconut drink. When they took my order, they were nice enough and my drink came out quickly too. I took it to go and tasting it in the car I realized it tasted like nothing. I swirled it around a couple of times and nothing. Now looking back at the picture I notice the mango color is very light. When I went back to see if they could fix it, the same person who took and made my order scoffed at me and said that is how it's supposed to be. I was shocked, no apology or offer to fix it. After telling him the same thing over and over again they finally asked if I wanted a remake. At that point I didn't want it at all, so I just asked for a refund. I hear the chocolate milkshake was particularly yummy -- it is more of a slushy texture (if you're into that), as opposed to fully creamy. I really love how this spot has free games to play. Gonna go out on a limb here, this may be my ABSOLUTE favorite boba place on all of O'ahu. I live in Los Angeles but this is my hometown so I'm here 4-5 times a year. Hands down. The boba has a good chew and is perfectly sweetened. It's not hard or too mushy. They have fresh taro paste and don't use the purple powder when it says "taro". I was out in Kailua and spotted S7 Icy Bubble. I made a short stop inside and got two drinks. I got the Mango Smoothie and Mango Pomelo Sago. The Mango Smoothie was good. The Mango Pomelo Sago was off. They were heavy handed with the coconut milk. The whole drink tasted like coconut milk. I could barely detect any mango. If you like coconut drinks get this. They also sell rolled up ice cream at this location. I didn't get any, but the person behind me ordered it. It was fun watching the worker make it. It's like any other rolled up ice cream place. They flatten the ice cream base on the frozen slab and mix in your ingredients. When it hardens they roll up the ice cream and place it in a cup. They're like all the other S7 stores where they sell affordable items. I saw phone cases along with stationary for a few bucks. The worker also wanted $1 for the reusable drink holder. I found that to be weird, because the locations in town just give them to me for free when I purchase two or more drinks. read more

I think we can all agree that Icy Bubble is taking over the boba scene on Oahu. With multiple locations throughout the island, you can easily have access to your favorite Icy bubble fix. Good drinks, customer service, ice cream rolls (for most locations) and cheap items in store that are available for purchase. The Kailua location is very organized and also showcases their famous lego wall. Multiple chairs and tables if you prefer to dine in as well. Assorted items to purchase if something catches your eye while waiting for your order. We order our usual. Sunrise surprise and a banana nutella ice cream roll with extra nutella. Our order was made pretty fast as there was no line when we ordered. The sunrise surprise was BOMB! Definitely freshly made by the taste of it. Some locations have it premade as it is a longer process to make with all the squeezing of fruits. The banana nutella was great and they were more than generous with the extra nutella. The ice cream didn't melt as fast which was a plus. After mopping the ice cream rolls, we ordered 2 more sunrise surprises for the road because it. was. that. good. If you're an Icy bubble addict like myself, then this is great for you as there is another location on the island which covers the Kailua area. Great for ATI's especially if you're not from the area. The ambiance is clean and very cute. There's games, legos, and ample seating if you want to eat or drink there. The service is always quick and polite. We go often and they have our order memorized. Went to Icy Bubble yesterday, 12-30-2022. My wife heard of this new place from her Yelper friend. They are located in the building that houses Safeway and is next to Aloha Pacific FCU. It has comfortable seating. A few booths and a couple of tables for two. I noticed that they had a rack with nick-nacks. I did really check it out. The bubble smoothie (ube) I had was refreshing and a good ube flavor. My wife ordered her drink while I was looking for parking. She got a free gift. They also have some items for sale like stationary and other Nic-Nacs for you to buy at low prices. Newly open business next door to aloha pacific credit union and pandas same area where safeway is located on Hamakua Street. Walked in and they do have about 3 or 4 booths to drink and enjoy their smoothie and milk teas. In the back of their store have a small shop where they have trinkets, key chains, and maybe some puzzles. Sorry no pictures I forgot to take. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie. Walking into this place was a trip. The vibe of the place is really cute, and there are little games they provide at the tables to occupy yourselves with. They have an extensive menu of drinks and rolled ice cream, but they also have a store of sorts where they sell random trinkets. The drinks themselves were a little disappointing - I got the "Aloha taro", which was really just milk and a weird taro paste at the bottom of the cup (it, does usually come with boba, but I asked for it without). I expected it to be more of a tea or mixed drink, and I wish they provided descriptions of the items on the menu. My brother however really enjoyed his banana berry rolled ice cream. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the smoothies but their milk teas, sparkling waters, and cloud drinks are all really good!
