Cute Polaroids of the doggy clientele - Oct 2025
    Reno U.

Saba Surf is a fun laid back vibe in Venice with couches and a cute backyard area where you can have an ice bath if you choose. We hung out in the back talking for a couple hours and relaxing in a comfortable overcast day. They have polaroids of dogs who have visited! And the heart in the coffee was cute! Check it out Yelpers next time in Venice CA!

Not having too much expectation on my first visit as I was thinking it was just a 'lifestyle cafe', being a surf-themed shop, I was surprised that they did serve pretty decent coffee with creative menu twist. Also I was impressed how the place really looked like a community spot with the barista knew tons of the guests and was very friendly. The place was also giving chill cool vibes with open patio at the back and plenty of seats at the indoor space. I got to try one of their special latte, which I completely forget the name, but if memory served me right serving something with salted maple. They also seemed to be quite popular with their coconut water latte and cream tops!

Great surf-themed cafe! It's a cool vibe! I went yesterday around 2:30pm, and it was a little busy. I got the iced cappuccino with vanilla cold foam, which was great and not too sweet.

Super friendly folks ready to take your coffee order! But it's not just a coffee shop, it's also a surf shop, with a backyard and chill indoor to work, catch up with friends or to go solo and read. Also a place for pop-ups, is how I found this place. There was a sunscreen brand popup.

Dear Yelp Community, Visited for the first time this week. The exterior shop front is humble, and inside is spacious and fun (indoor and outdoor); there is also a wellness club outside in the back. Nice ambiance with the surf boards and products to purchase. I relaxed in the backyard with my hot chai. I was happy. Enjoy, and well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

As someone who doesn't drink coffee, this is the best coffee shop in West LA. Vibes are always immaculate.

I noticed this spot when it popped up back in the day (prob round 2013/15 or something.. but neways…read moreit was back in the day). During that time, I wasn't curious enough to walk through the doors; I just chalked it up as another brand-new nice-ass spot to ignore as I walked by after hittin' at the beach all day (doing street shows, the best one on da beach alongside Uba-Uba, Mr Animation, & Calipso Tumblers, of course [Big ups to Harry Perry & Hercule's]. Anyways, I walked in a few days ago bc it was one of the only things I recognized. After donating all my decks and snapping the only one I kept in half, I wasn't trying to buy another one - so I'm very grateful I was able to, and did. Skated everyday since three days ago, and I feel the most genuine to myself I have in a while for doing so (exponentially affecting productivity). Thank you Nick!

I really enjoyed my visit to Arbor in Venice. There was a sale of shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies…read morefrom the former San Diego store with such a nice selection of designs and sizes. The store is remarkable and serves the Board community well. The thing about Arbor over other sporting goods type stores is that the products designed and materials used follow strict sourcing requirements to reduce the impact to earth. I got my first Arbor shirt at REI over 20 years ago and have been an avid follower of their products. I ended up buying several sweatshirts and hoodies which were embroidered or printed in very cool fashion. All the items I purchased were 50 percent off and are of great quality. The cashier and main employee was really nice, as we had nice conversations about our dogs and how she got into boarding. With such nice savings, I'll be back for value priced summer clothing in the next few months.

I don't do many reviews but when I do, I prefer dos xx, whoops, wrong review…read more Not only do I highly recommend this incredibly great surf shop, but I want to say you should only go to Jack's. They are the best in breed when it comes to surfing stores and I can't say eight great things about them. Not only do they carry just about everything you could ever need for your surf experiences, but they donut was class and style. Their inventory is massive and if you can't find what you're looking for here, then you'll never find it anywhere else. You can always tell more about an establishment, doesn't even have to be a surfing shop but any place, hotel, restaurant, airline or where ever it may be by the people that work there. Could even be a Macys or Nordstroms, theatre's or wherever. What tell you the most about a place by the folk that work there. At his location every employee there had a great attitude and knowledge of all surf. Product knowledge that you hadn't even thought of or crossed your mind before. These guys and the teams there are all first rate and world class humans in top of that. I want to especially single out the manager I met today, Zackariah. You couldn't ask for a better guy to be minding the store and Jack's is darn lucky to have him. Zackariah is a high quality work class human and Jacks is darn lucky to have have him. I've never been so impressed by a fellow running a gorgeous store like this or anywhere else. No, I'm not his mother or father or have any relation to him. I'll just a 68 year old guy who was so impressed by Zackariah, what a great biblical name too, that I have to shout this out to all of you potential and probably many customers already established customers. I will never go anywhere else to get gear for my 35 year old son who loves and surfs down in Encinitas, or my 30 year old daughter who's local here to the Santa Monica Bay who does a little surfing too. Zackariah, your employers are so lucky to have a world class guy working for them. I hope your owners read this reach out to give you a call or show some way of telling you you're doing a great job, because you are and your team shows nothing but respect for your leadership. Thank you for making my shopping experience today a memorable one and I look forward to coming back and hopefully it will be on a day you're managing and are there. In the mean time, you're a rockstar and Jack's is so lucky to have you. I hope you hear from them To let you know and possibly even show you their appreciation of you. You deserve it!!! Rock on!!
