Lavender earl grey iced latte with espresso
Niree S.

We arrived to LAX too early to pick up my sister. I needed to kill some time and also caffeinate ourselves so I looked up coffee shops nearby and this one popped up! It had high enough readings and looks cute from the photos so I decided to give it a try. There was a bit of a weight to order and it was quite packed on a Saturday morning, but I'm glad I gave it a try because their coffee was really good. I got the cappuccino, the lavender Earl Grey latte with a shot of espresso added, and the Cara caramel latte! All the drinks were very good and if I were in this area, I would return. They also have a super cute shop that is connected to the coffee shop where they sell tons of beautiful indoor plants with pots and other vintage clothing and knickknacks.

Front counter. Just made it before the 2PM closing.

In honor of Women's History Month and to celebrate women-owned businesses in general, I hereby offer up my review update for SACHI.LA. Going back to January of 2018 (actually before but that's when I started taking pictures) I noticed that a new coffee business was going in just North of Culver Blvd on Centinela. From the beginning, I could see that it was going to take a while. There weren't any big construction crews. Just some people doing it a little bit at a time. And It wasn't going to be very big but the independent coffee scene on the West Side was pretty bleak back then. You have to understand that any new additions were highly anticipated. Started by two sisters, Sachi and Chiyo, it has been quite a journey for SACHI.LA. Eventually opening in September of 2018, they had just enough time to become established before covid hit. They did an amazing job following all the protocols to keep everyone safe but still managed to keep the vibe 100% SACHI.LA. This meant a great deal to the local community that had come to depend on them. After successfully surviving covid, they have now gone through an expansion that has transitioned them into kind of a lifestyle brand. As well as continuing to satisfy all of their loyal coffee lovers, along with all of their other well curated merch, they have added clothing (new & vintage) and an amazing selection of house plants (and related items). This involved taking over the space next door, at least doubling their size. When you need a special last minute gift, they are very likely to have something that will work perfectly. Be sure to check their hours as they close a little early at 2PM. If you have never been to SACHI.LA before or if you haven't visited in a while, go check them out. In a way, I think it's still a work in progress but honestly, that's just the way it should be;)

Plants, coffee, and a seriously cool vibe? Yes, please. Sachi LA checks all my boxes. From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed. The interior is filled with gorgeous greenery--tables covered in houseplants, shelves lined with pots, and trailing vines that make the whole place feel like a little urban jungle. The aesthetic is calm and modern with natural wood, soft lighting, and unique decorative touches that make it a great place to sit, sip, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly, which always makes a difference. Service felt genuine and easygoing, and the coffee itself was top notch. Whether you're stopping in for a quick caffeine fix or planning to hang out for a bit, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Seating options are another big plus. There's comfortable indoor seating as well as a covered outdoor area if you want some fresh air while you drink your coffee. It's an ideal spot to meet friends, catch up on emails, or just relax with a good drink surrounded by plants. Parking is also pretty convenient for the area. There's a small lot in the back and plenty of street parking nearby, which makes visiting a lot easier. Between the great coffee, welcoming staff, and the plant-filled atmosphere, Sachi LA is definitely becoming my new go-to spot.

Good matcha! Cute spot with indoor tables and WiFi. Went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy.

I went here last week for the first time. I ordered the matcha latte anf hojicha latte, both were very good. The matcha was no too sweet and the hojicha latte had a nice toasty flavor. The vibe of the place was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. They sell coffee and merch on one side and on the other side they have a whole other space that has plants, vintage clothes and all kinds of goodies. Very unique experience and I would definitely recommend a visit here if you're in the area.

This place is super great. They have an outdoor patio with plenty of seating and delicious looking pastries. I got the earl grey lavender matcha, which was really tasty and the match combo with earl grey was really unique. Cold brew was decent. Staff was super friendly!

Ambiance: it's cozy and equipped with a lot of green plants inside, they also have an outdoor patio converted from rear parking lot. Unfortunately bad experience overall, and it's such a waste for the vibe Service: no service with terrible attitude, and I wish I didn't tip. After placing the order, I asked can I get a cup of water for the dog since it's a hot day, and the barista said there's a bowl for dogs, I went to check right away, the water bowl next to the rear door was empty and so dry, there wasn't any water for dogs to drink and they didn't refill it for a long time. When I tried to get water for human to drink later, the self serving water barrel was empty too. I had to ask them to refill more than once, which shouldn't be my job in the first place, but apparently they couldn't care less Drink: simple menu with few store specials, they made mistake with one order and couldn't fix it properly, you either get a full cup of ice or only 70% cup filled if you ask for light ice sachi special - * vanilla cold brew, the taste was bad matcha latte - ** light and watery taste Price: steeply overpriced for the poor quality, totally not worth $8+ per drink, let alone the milk they used wasn't fresh and caused stomach problem afterwards

After several years, this is still one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and good wifi if you're wanting to do laptop work. The indoor seating can be a bit busy depending on the time - I came at 8:30 on a weekday morning and all the tables were full, so I snagged a counter seat by the window. Staff are always kind. For straight, unsweetened matcha, this is my favorite place on the west side. Coffees are also always perfectly made with latte art.

Parking sucks but the drinks don't!!!!! When I went, it was difficult to find a parking spot. I parked somewhat far and walked but it was a nice day. The drink was so good, it was fine. Lol. : ) Friendly service. Yummy drinks.

If you are looking for a simple matcha then this is the spot. No fluff just straight good matcha. They also have coffees and other caffeinated drinks. And I love that they use organic milk by default but they got milk alternatives as well. And their pastries are to die for. There's lots of gluten free options as well. I got their Citrus olive oil cake and it was perfection. Perfectly moist, just enough sweetness, and total delicious. Shoutout to the guy behind the counter for recommending it. Oh and they have a cute little shop connect to it. I spent some time hanging out there for awhile. Great vibes.

This place is so charming. It shares a space with a store selling plants, candles, home decor, clothing, and more. Their matcha is some of the strongest I've ever had-it's rare that other matchas give me this much energy. There's free WiFi if you like working at coffee shops, and the outdoor area has plenty of tables. Service is wonderful as well.

Love the plants inside! The coffee and tea was okay, but I really loved the decor inside. Lots of wonderful plants and items to look at.

Solid matcha spot! Came by here on a Saturday morning to start the day. It's located on Centinela but there's some good street parking available. It's actually a cafe and store connected. The store side has records, plants, pottery, and clothes. It has cute gift items like candles and cards as well. The cafe side has a few seatings spots inside and a lot more spots outside in the back. Dogs are allowed in the inside and outside spaces. I ordered a classic iced matcha latte, smallest size ($6). It was pretty good! Nothing too memorable but not bad either. The service was great! Just order at the counter and wait for your drinks. Bright vibe inside and the back seating outside with some good music. Overall great vibe for a morning coffee or matcha!

They're open from 9 AM until 5:30 PM all 7 days of the week. And carry plants, planters, gardening essentials and wonderoud things of all shapes and sizes. I've been passing by frequently for nearly two months on my way to work usually before they're open or after they're closed on as I make my way home and finally got to stop in and explore. Mickey Hargitay has a rich history to match it's ambiance since it's birth in 1980, starting off with succulents, cacti and their own macrame designs Voted one of the best places to buy plants in 2015. Pricing here can be a little steep, depending on what you are looking for. We were looking for pots, and found some nice terracotta ones that were reasonably priced, but inventory was a little slim. I also saw that some of the items on their shelves have been there so long, the boxes are faded and kind of dusty. Some of the signs for pricing are hard to read, so we had to flag down an employee to help us, but they were happy to help. I love gardening, so I'm there at least once a month buying plants and supplies. As usual, I was there this Monday. I spent $243.10 that day buying different plants, soil, etc. When I got home, I realized the few small flowers (I paid $12 total for them) were not suitable for the pot I had in mind. I was working Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, first thing in the morning, I went back to the nursery and I explained the situation to the lady sitting in the office. She said we cannot accept returns passed two days. I explained to her that these flowers were just 12 bucks and I was replacing them with Succulents, which are more expensive, plus I need more plants and gardening soil. She said Fine. I can allow it this one time. I thanked her and started walking around, picking out the plant I was going to buy. A guy came to me and said we cannot accept your return, and walked away. The same lady in the office came out with the flowers I was returning and my receipt, and said here is your stuff, get the hell out! She continued, I told you we don't do returns past two days. I was speechless. How rude someone can be to a customer. I felt so humiliated in front of other customers. I just left, and I'm never going back there again. I truly regret giving them so much business and introducing them to all my friends and family. This is the first time I'm writing a review, but I feel obligated to share my experience with everyone. Take your business somewhere else where they appreciate their loyal customers.

He was extremely knowledgeable about the plants and trees, patiently answered every question we had, and never made us feel rushed. We were truly grateful for his help and left feeling very pleased with the service we received at the nursery itself. He provided excellent customer service and made our initial experience a very positive one. Unfortunately, our experience with the delivery was quite different. We paid an additional fee close to $100 dollars to have our trees delivered to our home, and the interaction with the owner, who handled the delivery, was disappointing. He had difficulty finding our home, arrived late, and at one point was across the street repeatedly honking his truck horn in frustration, loud enough that the neighborhood could hear. Once he arrived and began unloading, several of the trees had already fallen over. I politely asked if he would be willing to place them in a specific area on our property, approximately 20 feet from where his truck was parked. He refused and responded with what I felt was an unnecessarily negative attitude, telling me that if I didn't like it, he could take the trees back and refund our money. I didn't want the situation to escalate, so despite having paid for delivery, we simply accepted having the trees left where he chose to place them. There was no friendly handshake and thank you for your business. He just left with a bad attitude (40 items in total.) tree and shrubs. I completely understand that everyone can have a bad day or a difficult morning. We are all human. However, when that frustration spills over into the way paying customers are treated, I don't believe that reflects good customer service or good business practice. I want to be fair in saying that Amigos Nursery appears to be a great place to purchase plants and trees, and our experience with the gentleman who helped us at the nursery was truly excellent. Unfortunately, our interaction with the owner during the delivery left us feeling disappointed and took away from what had otherwise been such a positive experience.
