Highlights: Affordable for all, clean and lots of parking. Kids really loved the strawberry banana and Oreo cookie and cream. No surprise there but I loved being able to adjust the sugar content for the kids. Most importantly, price for most drinks were equal to less than $7.50. Can't beat that with all that's going on these days. I was feeling adventurous and got the banana coffee, it's a very interesting mix. If you get a sip of the coffee alone, be advised, its STRONG. A tiny sip will wake you up. I have never had coffee with banana and individually, the flavors are nice but give it a few minutes to melt and once the flavors mix, amazing. It was a good way to wrap up our weekend in Santa Monica. Would do it again!! read more

Amazing new spot that opened up on Wilshire blvd! The ambiance inside is so clean and eye pleasing! Had little bits of Vietnam throughout and I thought that was refreshing for Santa Monica. I tried 3 Coffees the first time I was there. And in the order of my most favorite first is the banana coffee, salted cream coffee and the coconut coffee. The banana coffee was so refreshing and tasted amazing with the fresh bananas they used. But don't forget to mix the coffee up because boy, it is strong! Service from the staff is above satisfactory. I got to meet the owner and his personality and vibe is the reason why I've been back everyday since my first try. Highly recommend and what's great is that they are right down the street from Harvest! Nothing beats being able to sip on some amazing coffee and getting my buds right after! Sign me up, personally it was a little too late in the day to try a strong vietnamese coffee, so I opted for the ice blended banana coffee instead, absolutely delicious! Definitely a summer drink!! The staff was so friendly with answering questions and bringing the coffee to my table, the music isn't super loud which is nice, and around the evening hours there aren't many people so it's not too loud, making it a great environment to work or relax. From Redondo to Santa Monica! So excited Dol's finally expanding its presence to this side of town. The venue was super nice, well-lit huge space with plenty of seats and high-ceiling. Could see myself spending hours either just chilling and reading or even working. Dedicated parking space was certainly bonus points! As they specialized in Vietnamese coffee, so obviously that's the must-have. My husband got the hot egg coffee which he loved as the strong Vietnamese coffee was balanced with creaminess from the egg foam. You could also tailor the sweetness level to your liking for which we opted for 75%. I got the Salted Creamy Coffee, basically their strong Vietnamese coffee with salted cream top. I order boba at least once a week on average from various shops and I've never before seen such an empty drink served! Yes, this was "no ice", and yes, the menu does let you know it "may not be all the way full" but this felt like a rip off for a $7 drink. As I said, I order boba all the time - they may often leave an inch or so from the top but this felt egregious! I had suggested ordering here with a friend and felt embarrassed for this so ended up treating as a result.
