This is Semmes Alabama Hidden Gem this Thai restaurant has been here for a while and everyone has been telling me I need to go there. Every thing was wonderful from the time we walked in the door we were greeted and seated right away. The waitress was very nice polite and friendly. It's our first time being there so she told us about the spicy levels. I had Stir Fry veggies with combo meats and the wife had Crying Tiger it's a ribeye steak cooked to perfection over veggie with rice and sauce on the side. The regular tea is some of the best tasting tea and I drank two glasses right away it was so good. We will definitely be going back all the time now. read more

Stopped by the restaurant on our way to Florida. We love Thai food so we were excited to find a place on our route that had excellent ratings. The owner is super sweet and friendly. The Tom yum soup had great flavor. The garlic stir fry had good flavor as well. The ambiance is very peaceful and relaxing. They presented the food very well. The owner was very accommodating regarding my son's peanut allergy. It was a nice surprise to receive some veggie spring rolls during lunch. They were very delicious. Unfortunately, the potatoes in the yellow curry were still a bit hard and had no flavor. The red curry didn't have much flavor either. The garlic stir fry tasted good but they give more veggies than tofu. Granted, we did ask for only carrots with the tofu but I was expecting tofu with some carrots, not a pile of carrots with a few tofu pieces. We had to ask for additional tofu to make a full meal. read more

Two words: in Love. When a friend told me that his absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the 251 was in Semmes, I had to come check it out. The Covid- friendly practices are in order, so much so that each table gets their own bottle of hand sanitizer. The verdict on the food is in and (drum roll) it's worth every star! The flavors are poppin' and the food is made to order and delicious. I've been twice in one week-- the pad Thai (sub glass noods) is my favorite as well as the crab fried rice, medium spice! So yummy! Their crab Rangoon app, Thai tea, and Thai donuts are great also. (I cannot confirm or deny that I've had all of this in one sitting) Give it a shot next time you're floating through Semmes, or make the trip-- you'll be glad you did! read more

Every time we come here we have excellent service. The food is always served piping hot and our orders have always been exactly what we ordered and expected. Tom Yum soup is one of the most favorite that I've had in all my travels. Their green curry chicken is delicious. Orange chicken and teriyaki chicken are favorites as well. read more

I have eaten here twice. It's a little pricey. Food is good, portion is ok for the price. People are nice but both times I ordered here I got home and my order was wrong. Either the food was wrong or I was missing items I paid for. Gas is too expensive to go back for them to make it right. Just not worth the expense. read more

Me and BFF came out here on Friday night to get some dinner and to my surprise. This hidden Thai restaurant sitting of Hwy 98 was a Gem. I order Tom Yum no meat, garlic vegetables stir fry, and crawfish tempura roll. She ordered the garlic vegetables stir fry and a side of fried rice. The food was fresh hot and fast. The service was friendly and with a smile. They checked to see if the food looked and tasted good. Refilling our glasses often. I was absolutely blown away and impressed, loved the outside appearance was a bit set back by the decor in the dining area. But hey I came to eat not bask in beauty. I'm so happy that our little neck of the woods is branching out with better quality and varied cuisine options. This mom-n-pop Thai place is very good and they have been a godsend during the Covid mess. We've ordered from all over their menu and haven't come across anything we haven't liked yet, and we appreciate that their Thai food isn't simply an attempt to repeat the standard go-to dishes of what we typically see in this area for Americanized Asian-style food. Everything is made fresh, to-go orders are accurate when we get them home (apparently this is an issue among other restaurants in the area), and they are prompt and friendly. Do yourself a favor when ordering and request prik nam pla to be included for a more authentic experience. Please give these folks plenty business to support food quality and variety instead of being relegated to mediocre BBQ and chain fast food as we have for years. read more

We ordered the pad thai noodles, pad see yu, panang curry beef , extra spicy. And the pineapple fried rice First when ya say extra spicy ya better mean it. Food was great, fresh and tasty. The pineapple fried rice is actually served in a 1/2 of pineapple. The girls loved the food said it was better than the typical hibachi we get at other places in the area. I've been here a few times since it's opened. The food's great. I can't say if it tastes like authentic Thai cuisine, but it's hell of a lot better than Bangkok on Airport (IMO, Thai Diner's the best). The only thing that's disappointing is they try their best not to give you soup with your meal. Every other Thai place I've been to gives you a bowl of soup with your meal, regardles of the time of day. Sabai moves the goalpost regarding their soup. We called and ordered a pick up order yesterday because I have heard great things and they always seem to have a lot of cars in the parking lot. Everything was fabulous. We had boom boom shrimp, thai fried rice, prik pao, sweet and sour chicken, drunken noodles, and thai donuts. The quality and freshness of the food was excellent.
