We love Mediterranean food and don't have any where we live so we were excited about the good reviews for Saba's. We were pointed to a booth and brought drinks fairly quickly. Then we waited. And waited. Finally, we ordered: large hummus, a lamb entree with Jerusalem salad and fries, and an entree with falafel, chicken, gyro, grilled veggies, and rice. I also added the side Greek salad. The hummus was pretty good. Beautifully plated but not really thick and creamy. Average pita but toasted, which was nice. Kids liked the lamb, didn't touch the bland bland bland Jerusalem salad, and wished the fries were crispier. Hubby and I actively disliked the falafel. He told our daughter not to decide she doesn't like falafel based on this one because it was unlike any he had tasted. The center pieces of the chicken were rather undercooked, which was a bummer. The gyro meat was the best by far. The rice was standard, but the grilled veggies were nearly raw, except the zucchini. My Greek salad was a hit though. Very fresh and tasty. Overall, we would probably try it again if we lived in the area. We won't be making the trip though. read more

I hate to write a poor review but I hate even more being served mediocre food and having even worse service. Warm food was served cold. Worse eggplant I have ever had. We had to ask about the pita bread. We were told that we were only entitled to one piece per entree. We were only asking where it was. Our waiter never asked how the meal was. He brought over the bill with the comment "I don't suppose you want dessert". He should have said, "can I interest you in one of our excellent dessert?" Our whole table said they would never come back. We threw out the left overs we had to pack up ourselves after we all agreed that even Pita Jungle was better then Saba's. read more

A huge disappointment! Walked in and the floor was very dirty with scraps all over it. The service was unfriendly. The food was blah. They forgot to bring our cocktails until we reminded them, after our meal was served. We were overcharged by 1 drink and 1 meal on our bill. They forgot our order of pita. We gave them our credit card for our bill and had to wait about 15 minutes to get our card back because the waiter was socializing. Everything was wrong with this restaurant! Everything is made fresh to order and the place seems authentic. Their website claims that their ancestors are from Mesopotamia civilization but The ambiance is very catholic and has songs playing of Jesus. Well, it was a little weird for us. Anyhow they have a great menu with pita, Burger, entrees of your choice and more. I went with falafel pita and feta Fries. The service is a little slow and took a lot of time for our order to come. Been here a couple of times and the food is never disappointing. We came on a Wednesday and was seated promptly. The servers keep an eye on you even tho' they are just walking by your table. We started off with their Baba Ghannouj and received more pita than other places. Everything is fresh and I can't get enough of their Turshi. The sauce and meat quality was great on the gyro but i wasn't necessarily amazed by the overall flavor I would rate it a 7.5/10. For the fries the crispy and crunchiness was amazing 10/10 but with that said I felt like the pricing was high, just for seasoning, sauce, and Fetta that was added... I could have gotten an appetizer and just regular fries with the meals for the same price. The service was great! Super friendly waiter. The atmosphere was lacking a bit, we went inside but moved outside to the small patio area to be in the sun! I can't believe it is considered a small portion. It was also delicious and piled high with fresh feta cheese and olives, red onions, tomatoes and cucumbers with an amazing dressing. Let's not forget the really refreshing iced minted tea I had which you get unlimited refills of throughout the meal. For dessert I had the Baklava which was light, flaky and rich with flavor.
