We stayed in town for couple days and we came here for light dinner recently. We ordered papaya salad & Tom yum goong and Thai ice tea, wow it was super delicious ! I would say that this was one of the best Thai food in Portland! Service was excellent, nice soft music in the backyard, family friendly and we loved it! We will definitely comeback for more in the future ! Thank you Sabiang Thai!

Excellent service. Amazing flavors. Large portions. And they made the dishes the spice level that I actually wanted (Thai hot). My lips are tingling and I'm so glad I stopped here.

First time trying and honestly I highly recommend, the wontons are sweet but she offers all kinds of chilli spices to even everything out. I will be coming back. The service was exceptional and quick, great environment with people with such a great attitude.

I would only come back for the spring rolls, other than that the food is way to salty! Did not taste right. The mangoes tasted bad, and the rice was undercooked. There was ants on the table but I paid for it all, because it is a family business. Customer was good, very nice, the food has been lacking quality that I've seen from other Thai places. They need to clean the restaurant ir remodel.

*** NEW RESTAURANT, Any reviews before March 28, 2020 are for Tuk Tuk. I feel bad for the nice owners as they opened a new business during a frickin' pandemic. Sabiang Thai is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood and definitely a refreshing upgrade from the former Thai restaurant that occupied the space for years. Their price points are fair, there's some real value on the extensive menu. I'm usually not a huge curry fan, but the puffs are a winner. They don't taste like their Indian or Malaysian counterpart, they're pillow-soft and bursting with flavor. The Thai Ice Coffee is a deal and tastes much better than what you get elswehere. I look forward to when the Stay at Home restriction is lifted so we can experience dining in their asthetically pleasing interior. I'll update as I work the menu.

I rarely give negative reviews but I was unfortunately really disappointed in my dinner from this restaurant. I ordered the Chicken pad Thai and shrimp salad rolls. The salad rolls were both small and had 2 tiny pieces of flavorless shrimp. The peanut sauce was weirdly over sweet and not in a good way. I've never disliked peanut sauce from a Thai place. Unfortunately the pad Thai was not great either. It wasn't very flavorful and tasted as good as the time I tried to home make pad Thai. This was honestly the worst pad Thai I have ever had from a restaurant. Not to mention the portion was small (Photo Attached) and it was 13.95 which is on the higher price range for pad Thai. I'm really disappointed in this place as I live nearby and was hoping it would become my new go to Thai spot.

Sooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooood!!!!! Tai noodle soup was good, I eat here all the time. Cute cat is front.

Delicious Thai food and the owners are super sweet! We got their carry out and it was delicious and filling. We tried the pad Thai, pad see ew, fried shrimp with tamarind sauce and green curry. All of it was delicious. The slight sweet and tangy dishes were a hit. I asked for medium and it was spicy enough for this spicy girl. I do think pad Thai might have gotten a little stuck together in the container but heated deliciously next day. My children never had Thai food probably because I got burnt out on Thai in Chicago. The green curry had delicious veggies (got to love that eggplant) and so yummy! That might have been my favorite. I definitely will be back and hopefully get to try it in their newly decorated dining room. You guys rock and keep up the good food!!

They have big windows that open up and a bar area with hooks to put your things. Service: We sat at the bar area since we didn't have a reservation right in front of the employee sink. I will say that as an observational person, I noticed a lot of female employees washing their hands, but very few male employees washing their hands. I was glad to have a female server. She followed up often with drinks, which was fantastic. Food: We got the Kingston Fix slushy tiki drinks and those were good. Nice and refreshing for the hot day. Sweet and sour fried chicken - the small was plenty for us, since we had been snacking all day. They were lightly breaded, very crispy, and not heavily drenched in sauce, but still very flavorful. White curry with brisket burnt ends - light curry taste and the pieces of brisket made this dish so robust. The brisket was a bit crunchy at the tips, but it fell apart in your mouth and wasn't chewy or tough. Overall wonderful experience. My dudes - please wash your hands. (We were there ~45 minutes and one dude with glasses washed his hands twice. I didn't see any other dude wash, but maybe there's another sink elsewhere.)

Curry was delicious and balance, excellent when dipped with the crispy roti or fried chicken. Pickled veggies were a great pairing and sweet and sour added another dimension. 2. Pad Thai - glistening noodles served inside an egg omelet. Very solid pad thai - sweet, sour, salty. Don't forget to add the fresh shrimp, these were cooked perfectly and plump. I recommend the restaurant should take the shrimp tail shell off for us. 3. Thai Basil Lemonade - solid lemonade, NEED more basil flavor. I'll start by saying this place is definitely not big so come with the expectation that you might have to wait for a table. There's only about 8-10 tables in the place and it's definitely geared towards smaller groups. Regardless we ordered at the front and then were able to find a seat. Wound up ordering the combo to try and get a taste of everything. The portions were solid and everything was super tasty. The chicken is perfectly breaded and delicious. It's a bit of a messy meal so just come with that in mind. Have a bunch of different options that also looked tasty. Will have to come back and try again. Service was fine. They were kind and cleared the table. Water is self serve at front of the restaurant and they clearly do a fair amount of takeout. Cool local spot to definitely check out.

This was the best pad Thai we had with such depth of flavor - not too sweet or oily, just perfect. We also had the pad kra pao, eggplant and tom kha. The tom kha had good flavor and with a thinner broth that I'm used to which was fabulous. The eggplant was so delicious - the consistency was incredible. Not too soggy, just right.
