The decor, the ambiance is beautiful but the food is a bit overpriced and doesn't have much taste. The service was ok. She was nice but seemed like she was very busy and distracted. All in all it was ok. I might come back to try other things.

A nice restaurant in the sunset area that doesn't seem to get too busy even on a Thursday night. I came here to have Cuban food with my dad as he was visiting from out of state. We were sat immediately and our orders were taken quick. The food was great and freshly made! My dad loved his churrasco and tostones. Side note: if you can't find parking their lot has valet for $5.

We had another good experience at this location in South Miami. Great atmosphere and overall a great value. Service was good and we ate outside as there was a nice breeze. You can either find parking on the street which is E-Pay or use their valet service.

If you're from Miami Casa Cuba just feels familiar? The pastelitos, especially the guava and cheese, they are exactly how they should be: crispy, golden, and flakey on the outside, soft and warm in the middle. The meat one is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and not dry like other spots. You can tell these aren't frozen. You can dip them into a hot colada (if you re into that Cuban sugar rush) or my personal choice, a classic cappuccino, it all melts together, sweet, and savory. They also do americanos and café con leche, depending on your mood. Pure Miami coffee line ups, served to you at the convenience of a "Ventanita" and coffee bar area. If you're in a hurry, just walk up, grab your order, and you're out. If you've got time, the patio's perfect, especially in the evening when it's breezy. And on weekends? Live salsa, shivering that Cuban vibe. More enchanting the place, when, Dani and Yami, the kind of staff that actually remember you, treat you like family, and bring that real Cuban warmth. They make the whole experience even more legit. Casa Cuba doesn't try too be an authentic Cuban spot, it just does things organically. Traditional local food, charming people, homy energy to deliver a true Miami Latin experience.

Salmon a la plancha with cilantro butter sauce.

On a scale of cuban restaurants most common in Miami, I would rank this the lowest. It's almost a Miami Beach tourist trap of sout Miami. Under flavored and underwhelmed it's a shame because the staff works so hard to please you To start, someone in our group had ordered yuca fries but remarked it has no flavor and not worth eating. I didn't bother to try. I skipped all appetizers and waited for others to have their apps including tostones with creme cheese and caviar ontop which they didn't say if was good or not but seemed to be OK for the price (was not expensive) Onto my entree: Salmon a la Plancha with a cilantro butter on top helped to give it flavor a few bites at a time. That salmon needed a lot of help to have flavor with the butter and also the salt and pepper. That salmon was not the color of fresh water salmon like Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon but more of Farmed Salmon slight pink. Unfortunately this restaurant chose to skillet it in a cheap oil very tasting of canola oil. Can't escape that and having heartburn / acid reflux for a few hours later as I write this review. I declined dessert while conversing with others that had theirs. One person ordered a Tres Leches and it looked like a brick sized piece. OMG. Either way, I would steer clear of this place. Can't believe it's been in business so long in a fast paced Miami market I skipped

Honestly not a bad restaurant. The service was great, attentive staff and a good cuban vibe. The food is just cuban food which wasn't bad. It's a bit pricy though. Spent about $25 including taxes and tip so not bad. Feels like comfort food.

    Hair in my food

There was a hair in my food and the food looked very unappealing I wish I could've a ten it but seriously who leaves a hair in the customers food man. Very bad didn't like it at all and I couldn't even eat it because how am I supposed to eat when there was hair in my food that makes my appetite be gone and not want to eat anymore. But I can't lie the ambiance was nice it was peaceful and calming but seriously I wish there wasn't hair in my food

We came here to celebrate my father's birthday. The food was very good, with a diverse menu offering plenty of delicious selections. The service was attentive and generally good. Our food came out pretty quick. My dad ordered the oxtail and I ordered a pechuga de pollo empanizada a la milanesa which is a breaded chicken breast topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese au gratin. For desserts, we got some churros.

Local love for this Cuban fusion restaurant! Affordable and tasty. They also offer healthy versions of carbs like quinoa and brown rice. Each time we come here we sit at the bad and order a variety of appetizers but we always have the jamon y queso plate and the ceviche. The restaurant offers your typical Cuban cuisine and also adds a little spanish flare- such as paella, bacalao- (cod), pitchers of sangria. The restaurant also has live music on Friday and Saturdays. The manager seems to always be present and goes around a greets customers with a friendly conversation. Affordable local spot and food is always on point.

We got a sampler platter that included some croquetas, plantain chips, tamal, fried pork chunks, and fried shrimp. Zero complaints about anything! So so good. My main was the Sopa de Res, which was a hearty soup. The serving size was gigantic. I actually took most of it back with me and it made two more meals. There were lots of root vegetables, slow cooked beef still on the bone, a side of rice and corn. My dad got a huge Cuban sandwich that he also ate on for days and my mom had empanadas, which I finished off for a third meal. We also went back for pie. That was ok - it was extremely rich and kind of pricy at $13 a slice. I also tried their Cortadito and took it to go. Great coffee as well. Highly, highly recommend eating here. The decor is fun and the wait staff super nice and patient with all our questions. They also have a separate ice cream shop across the parking lot.

My husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with French fries cooked to perfection in clean oil, and I had grilled chicken (pechuga à la Blanche) with beans, rice, and sweet plantain, along with cilantro sauce. The portion sizes are very generous and we each had leftovers for another whole meal. We will definitely be back! I also appreciated that the suggested tip amount started at 15%. We left more, but too many restaurants have the suggested tip amounts much too high. Do look at the menu item pricing, as some dishes were $75+. It may have been due to portion size as well as ingredients.

Honestly, my past experiences there have always been pretty good, as the place was clean, the staff friendly, and the food consistently solid. That's why when dinnertime came around today, I didn't think twice about ordering from them. I had some friends over to watch the USMNT Gold Cup Final soccer match and I was really craving Cuban food. I placed an order through Uber Eats expecting the same quality I've come to know. The food actually arrived pretty quickly, in about 35 minutes, which was great. But as soon as I opened the container with my Cuban sandwich, I knew something was off. It wasn't pressed properly as you could tell right away someone had rushed making it. But the real disappointment? There were no condiments at all. No mustard, no pickles, no mayo... nothing. It just seemed like someone lightly buttered the bread, barely warmed it up, and sent it out. When I opened the sandwich, it was even worse there was hardly any ham or pork inside. Honestly, it looked sad. I was so disappointed, I ended up tossing it in the trash. I mean, it's one thing to mess up a random order, but this was a Cuban sandwich from a Cuban restaurant. That's the signature item. How do you get that wrong? The rest of the food was okay, not great, but edible, so at least my guests had something to eat. Still, I'm the one who chose the place and really wanted to enjoy my meal, and they completely missed the mark. I'm giving El Rinconcito Cubano of Kendall a one-star review based on tonight's experience. To be fair, I've had good meals here in the past, so I'd be open to giving them another shot down the road. If they step it back up, I'll happily update this review. But tonight? They really dropped the ball.
