Food was freshly made but on the salty side for sure. Service was minimal but I was the only customer there so I think the server just didn't want to pester me? Ambiance was nice, Spanish music with Spanish tv on. I would go again but def want less salty.

All Potatoes - Saltato De Marisos- should change then name to Papas ....

Just ordered Saltado de Mariscos for dinner 4/21/24 and got a plate full of potatoes !!!! Shrimp and squid is 10% and 90% potatoes. I paid $25 for potatoes. BS... not coming back to this place . It was once good back in the day... we called them to let them know. The Chef is F* playing games with the take out customers!!! They will go out of business if they continue this shit.... don't cheat your customers ... you will lose them....

Amazing Lomo Saltado with salsa Criolla to go!

This meal is absolute magic! Combination steak and shrimp Saltado with the salsa criolla sauce on the side & it comes with 1 Aji pieza sauce. This delicious Peruvian comfort food never disappoints. Ordered by phone & was ready when I got there. Fast service. Perfection!

Having visited Peru serval times and missing the food. I came across this little location that brought me back to Peru. I would highly recommend this place. The portions are generous.

Didn't know there was an inka express on east side. We really like the inka locations in South Bay. Place is quite small but the menu was extensive enough. Again we ordered / paid on yelp for picking up. We had seafood in spicy tomato soup, ceviche mixto and beef fried rice. The portions were very impressive and the prices were fair. Seafood was fairly fresh and the soup broth was very flavorful. Hubby liked his fried rice so much too. The ceviche mixto was just like what we had at the PV location. I like Peruvian style ceviche much better than Mexican style. I really enjoyed our Peruvian food especially the rich flavors. We will order takeout here from time to time!

Located off of Whittier Boulevard and Hacienda Boulevard

I had a craving for noodles and called this place for the Tallarin Saldado with chicken. The restaurant is located off Whittier Boulevard in the near Northgate Gonzalez, but clear across the other side, closer to the Hacienda Boulevard. I actually thought this was affiliated with POLLO Inka, but they are their own place. Good Peruvian food, but I must admit, Pollo Inka was a bit more flavorful, as they also add cilantro and other ingredients to five their Tallerin Saltado a little extra umph. Portions were good, cost me about $14 and change. Plenty of food to share if you're not starving. I had some for dinner and leftover for lunch the next day. Call ahead and they'll have it ready in 15 minutes.

Ordered the Pollo Saltado plate, which is basically chicken sautéed with onions, tomatoes and cilantro, served with French fried potatoes and steamed white rice. They gave a huge serving and the food was delicious. Unlike other reviewers, i'm happy to report there was no hair in my food. LMAO. I will be ordering with them again.

Delicious lomo saltados and decent sized portions! This wasn't my first time coming here and…read moredefinitely won't be my last. I was recommended this restaurant by a relative and they brought us here for dinner on Sunday! They have their own parking lot but there's very limited spaces if it does get busy. Walking in, we were instantly greeted and asked how many were in our party. We were instantly seated but there were quite a few occupied big tables around us. I couldn't catch our waitress's name but she was so attentive and nice to us! She would come ask if we needed refills, napkins, extra utensils, or extra bread and butter. After you order, you get complimentary bread and butter! They also have this green spicy sauce that you can dip your bread in. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 1 soup, 1 appetizer, and 4 main dishes! Everything came out so fast and was so tasty! You can even see the chefs preparing the food through the transparent glass. Food: Lomo Saltado (9/10): I absolutely loved this dish! The only thing I will say is that it was on a little salty for me but that's not something a little water couldn't help with. The beef was cooked so nicely, it was tender and the portioned nicely so it could be chewed with each bite. The grilled onions were for sure my favorite part. The onions soaked in all the sauce but were still crunchy which adds a nice texture to the soggy french fries. The french fries also soaked in all the sauce! There's also a side of rice to help make you more full! Tallarines Salteo de Carne (9/10): This dish was identical to the lomo saltado but instead of french fries, it was noodles! I equally loved this dish since they used the same sauce but with noodles instead! I had no complaints except it was on the saltier side but didn't mind it at all. Everything's the same as my lomo saltado review, perfectly cooked meat and onions! Jalea de Mariscos (9/10): This was our appetizer! It comes with a few fried items (fish fillet, shrimp, and squid). I think there are also Yukon potatoes but I could be mistaking it for another form of potato. The squids are fried in bite sized and they're so easy to eat! It also comes with an onion salsa that's so delicious! The salsa is sour so definitely be careful when dunking your food in there. I believe that this one comes in a half or full size!

Cut up into small piece, it was good tasting just the portion was WEEK at best, a few full pieces of chicken was what i expected from the photos on the site. I also ordered Arroz Chaufa de Pollo, it was good, its hard to mess up fried rice. In addition i ordered Lomo Saltado, it was ok, not as flavorful as i remember it being. I been eating here for over a decade. It changed names a while back if i remember correctly Overall i was disappointed for $60 for the 3 plates. I checked online for the amount it would be $59.27 for the 3 plates, when i tried to call in the order i was quoted 64, i asked why the difference as it should have been cheeper as i had an addition Convenience Fee: $2.49. So i ordered it online. I wanted to pay cash but ened up getting cash back from the CC purchase. The waitress who gave me my order did it with a big smile, That was the best part of the meal.

So we deal with it and order and eat from there any way... Today, was a different story, we came in got greeted by the cook as we walked in, sat down, 10 mins later the waiter finally acknowledged us siting, after passing by us multiple times. We place our order, Thankfully the food came out, and was good (thanks Mr cook). 1 one of us at the table asked for the salsa, they normally give you with the food, He doesn't seemed to please and come back with 1 small salsa for 2 adults with large plates, non the less we didn't say anything we ate our food, and did not anything, at this whole time we finished out meal and our amazing waiter had yet to come see if we perhaps needed water or something, 10 mins later we stand up and go pay at the counter, with him because he was now cooking. . After terrible service from him we close the check, and he tells my brother "you don't know how to say thank you?" My brother hadn't really heard him so he softly said thank you and waived goodbye, he starts walking to the door and says "hey! " you don't know how to say thank you or what? For the second time... Again my brother just smiles and waives it off, no avoid any issues. We get in our car, and we see him walk outside, clearly hot and bothered, So now I get out the car to see what the deal is.... After watching my demeanor change... he changes his and with his attitude says ohh there's no problem here.... And we end it there... horrible horrible horrible service from that man.... IF YOU ARE HAVING A BAD day!! IF YOU HAVE the wrong attitude than your in the wrong business, don't be in the customer service area!! Most definitely not return... Food is great.... This particular waiter... not even close... Sorry higo.. this review is strictly for that.

We decided on ceviche mixto and seafood fried rice. Also cookies and ice cream to go. Inca kola and Perrier sparkling water as beverages. I don't drink regular soda but I drink inca kola occasionally cause it tastes too good! The food was very delicious in big portions. I prefer Peruvian ceviche over Mexican ceviche because of the less acidity in it. The service wasn't exactly the friendliest but very fast. I see this restaurant on DoorDash all the time. I would describe this place as that saying "Jack of all trades, master of none". I came with a group and we all ordered a variety of dishes, yet nothing stuck out. For a small space they have 1 waitress who needs better skills, she may be new. I say this because even as she brought out dishes she brought things out in pieces (got my shrimp cocktail, then had to ask for crackers, then had to ask for lemon, then had to ask for salt and pepper). Some points for the food: Talllarin - chicken was dry, pasta good Bandeja paisa - 7/10 arepa dry, no beef or beans Shrimp cocktail - very little shrimp, little to no juice, like a salsa mix in the cocktail Gyoza - good can't mess that up Lomo - eh fries came warm not hot, doesn't look like a traditional sauce The good things about this place: Good little green salsa and they served a good chicha de mora. Would I come back? No. You can definitely find better quality food and cheaper prices at a regular 1 cuisine restaurant. I would like to add presentation was nice on the food but nothing tasted quite right...
