The food had a slightly processed taste, but overall, it was great. They had a wide selection of dishes. It was a bit inconvenient that you could only pay in cash, and the ATM right there charged for withdrawals. The service was good, and the vibe was really cute, with a nicely set-up ambiance.

Visiting from Louisiana, and this place may very well have the best breakfast I've ever had. Great service, delicious meal, and a lovely old-school vibe. I may have to walk back here tomorrow morning.

Just started coming here for here for Breakfast. The food is DELICIOUS. Very affordable and they are very quick. It reminds me of an old classic dine

I was looking for a diner. I could take my found this little diner in White Plains. Across from the hospital. They are cash only so bring your paper money. Very nice inside classic diner from 90 years ago. You could sit at the counter on the old style stools or slipping into a comfortable booth. The waitress and brought us out menus. They have specials across from the booths that you can read tacked up I noticed the prices were amazingly low. Grilled cheeseburger deluxe. $9.00 Pizza burger $9.25 Two eggs toast, and your choice of bacon ham sausage $7.50. Other diners are definitely 40 to 50% more I decided to order the dinner, brisket of beef with with potato and vegetable. Your choice of tasty home fries, french fries mashed potatoes or a a broiled potato I chose the french fries. Gravy with the brisket. my dinner came out with a nice piece of bread delicious looking gravy and a very nice portion of brisket. The french fries were crispy on the outside and a nice potato taste on the inside. The brisket had a good flavor. The gravy tasty and I don't think they used a gravy that had MSG in it. my mother enjoyed the fish and chips a Swiss grilled cheese sandwich but it looked good The rice pudding was delicious. I definitely recommend coming here to try breakfast cheeseburger or one of the dinner choices. The meatloaf looked very good. I saw it going out to another customer. As well as the grilled cheeseburger with french fries The service was very nice. The waitress was very friendly and told me about how long the diner has been open 90 years.

Very NY diner. Typical fries not greasy which is good. My bunless burger was good just wish it was bigger but it was cooked to perfection and cheese was melted just right. No parking lot here it is street parking and we found parking around the corner. The Hospital is across the street. My husband's bacon was pretty good and crispy. Loved my pickle too! The waitress was friendly. Their mayonnaise was sooo good it tasted homemade. Wish I had more of it. Sliced tomatoes were juicy and very fresh! We also ordered a coke and a pepsi and they came in their own bottles which I didn't mind. I bet they make a perfect NY bacon, egg and cheese here. Give it a try!

In Westchester for a family event and decided to take a walk for breakfast. Yelp led us here based on a four and a half star rating. I'd however give it a four for ambiance- loved the cool old-time diner vibe of the place. Food-wise- they get three stars. I ordered an egg and cheese omelette with onions which was served to me cold with unmelted cheese and partially cooked onions. The well-done home fries were marginal and my bagel was subpar for a New York bagel. Hubby said his corned beef hash was not cooked well enough and bland. Overall the place was nothing to write home about. Also, if you do go,be prepared to pay with cash. They do have an ATM when you enter if needed.

Cash only! Parking limited and on street- bring quarters for meter. Tiny old diner- but a lot to offer- we had the burger, BLT, & milkshake. Delicious

Great experience. Real NY diner. Great prices. Cash only BTW. LOVE IT . Simple and good. Buy a lottery ticket too.

This is a small hole the wall diner that is absolutely worth a visit. Big Jack seems to know most customers by name. It is cash only, but there is an ATM at the entrance door. Great portions and prices! Curbside parking is slightly inconvenient. Let's just say I went back more than twice while staying in White Plains!!

We were seated in a nice booth and service was good. We had some coffee which was standard fare - basically diner quality but drinkable. Some ice cold water. All good We ordered the eggs Benedict, some pancakes, and the lobster roll. I had the eggs and they were cooked well with a ham and high volume of hollandaise. I usually have the hollandaise on the side, but as a cardinal error, I had forgotten to ask them for that. The sauce was overpowering a little bit too sour for my liking, and as it turns out did not agree with me. Next time I will avoid that. The lobster roll was well received with no mayonnaise, which was great. And the pancakes were also good.

Over the past year or two though, the prices started to get a bit whacky so we started going less. I went today and it was awful. The food itself was okay, but there was only one poor waitstaff member for the entire restaurant. They had other people bringing out the food and drinks but the poor waitstaff member had their hands full. It took 25 minutes before our order was finally taken. I used to love the chocolate milk but now they charge the same price as before but give you a kiddie sized cup and you don't get free refills. We spoke to a staff member after we realized we didn't recognize anybody there. We were told the place had been bought out by a new management company and they cleaned house and got rid of the entire old staff, which is wild. They were all so wonderful before! The waitstaff member today was nice too, don't get me wrong, but it was crazy that all the familiar faces were gone. We were told all the kitchen workers were replaced too. Anyway, between my coworker and I, we got a cup of coffee, two eggs, 6 tiny pancakes, 3 strips of bacon, and a tiny sized chocolate milk for $39 (before adding tax and tip). Do with that what you will, but I think that's brutal. The prices have gone up too much considering they made the pancakes smaller and drinks smaller. It's just not worth it anymore.

I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.
