I just want to say that if your looking for an amazing detail job, Sac Metro does it!! I had a "supposedly" detail job done about a week ago by another company, I was very upset and dissapointed by their lack of service. After speaking with Josh @ Sac Metro, they agreed to come out yesterday and "clean up" the job. We had a tech named Anthony come out about 4:00pm, he was there til after 8:00pm. He took his time and actually paid attention to detail. He kept me updated on what he was doing and pointed out anything that might be an issue. We were extremely satisfied with his work & my boyfriend even added that it was cleaner then when we bought it. Great Job for a great price!! We'll definitely call on them again for our other cars. This service was good years ago but has really gone downhill recently. Here are four recent examples I experienced: 1. They're bad at returning phone calls. It took me four weeks of calling and texting to reach Josh and setup an appointment. 2. They're unreliable. They cancelled on me last minute without notice. It took me checking in to confirm the appointment to learn they were canceling on me the night before a wash that was scheduled for early the next morning. If I didn't check in, I guess they would have just ghosted me. They didn't have any backup options so we were pretty screwed. 3. Their equipment is out of date and breaks down. I noticed this last time I used them and it's even more obvious now. The excuse they gave for canceling was their equipment stopped working. 4. And finally, they were super rude, telling me they "didn't appreciate" that I was upset about all of the above. Josh and sac metro detailing are just downright unprofessional and unreliable all around. There are many other options. I recommend going with one of them. read more

I called Sac Metro to come out and do a full detail job on two cars last Saturday. My husband usually washes and waxes both of our cars, so I decided to surprise him with a mobile detailing for both of us. The detail job took quite a while, but it was very thorough. My 2010 Mini Cooper looks like new and my husband was extremely happy with the job done on his 2003 Mercedes Roadster. He's very picky about his car so I was a little worried about hiring someone to detail it. I think he'll be calling them the next time! read more

Based on 6 very complimentary reviews on yelp, I had high hopes for Sac Metro Detailing but was ultimately very disappointed. I paid $400 to have a Subaru Outback detailed and the just the interior detailed on my Highlander. Initially, I thought the Subie looked okay but on closer inspection, you could see the shortcuts. There is wax still in almost every crevice, edges of the doors, on the rubber around the headlights, spots on the interior that I could just wipe off, etc. A detailer should, by definition, pay close attention to DETAIL, right? Clearly, that was not the case here. I also never received a receipt for the work. I spoke with the owner and he promised to send me an invoice, which he didn't. I called and left a message asking again for the invoice and also voiced my disappointment in the work. He called back to get my email address and didn't even mention the fact that I was a displeased customer. Customer service is clearly not Sac Metro's priority. He did ultimately send the invoice. I had to leave them a star as the dog smell from my highlander is gone. There is strong residual chemical odor. I have never had an ozone treatment in a car so perhaps that is normal. In any event, it's better than the smell of the previous owners wet dog and it seems to be waning to some degree. It took the detailer about 6 hours to do both cars, though at least an hour of that was just letting the ozone machine run while the detailer chilled out in his van. Close to $70/hour, I would expect some stellar work with a company backing its work. I won't be calling again. read more

Abstract: I recieved services from Josh H and Sac Metro Mobile Detail (916 225 3448) on my 10 yr old black vehicle. The $120 'paint restore' service resulted in additonal huge swirl scratches and a lousy job. The vehicle was obviously not buffed and looked like the neighbor kid applied turtle wax with his old sock. Upon recieving the vehicle I immediatly took photo's and videos of the damage and crappy job done by Sac Metro and immediatly contacted Josh via phone and email. Damage: fresh large swirl marks all over vehicle. Roof painted trim now has 'crackly' appearance. Lousy job: exterior windows dirty (indicating lousy wash job at the beginning), paint not polished or buffed , visible wax residue in seams and door cracks, clogged window washer jets, no cleaning or polishng of textured front bumper, surface contaminants on front bumper not cleaned, rub on wax left on small spots around vehicle, no cleaning of car body behind tires or areas that required doors or trunk to be open, area beween exterior mirrors and car body not cleaned. Sac Metro Response: After emailing photo's and videos (http://youtu.be/AXe6nqQK2Ds) clearly showing huge swirl marks all over vehicle, Josh insisted that these were present the whole time and the great cleaning job he did exposed the swirls.Josh insisted that the cloths used to apply rubbing compound to the vehicke were clean and could not possibly be the cause. I just got my car detailed today. From the beginning when I contacted Josh, he was very polite and courteous over the phone. I scheduled an appointment to get the full detail on my car, which, BTW is one of the cheapest prices available around Sacramento and I didn't even need a Groupon for it. Anyways, the day of my appointment, Anthony, one of Josh's employees called and told us he was on his way, which, he came early and got started right away. Anthony was extremely polite, friendly and professional. It took a few hours for the whole detail from start to finish. Anthony paid attention to every detail inside and outside of my car. I'm very glad I was patient and waited the week than just skipped to someone who with an earlier opening. The guy who detailed my Jeep really knew his profession, not to mention he did a great job. They came out the day after Father's Day to detail my dad's boat. I called the company on Sunday, they got right back to me, and had a detailer out in Folsom the next day at noon. The detailer was there for close to 9 hours. You could tell the detailer took pride in his job and went into great detail to ensure our boat was spotless and like-new when he left. Our neighbors came by and commented on what a great job he did. Very happy with this company and will definitely use them again! read more

About a year ago, I got a $100 gift certificate for my 82 year old mom living in a senior building with no place to wash her car. Judging by the prices I saw on the web-cite, I thought $100 would cover a detailing with a little left over for toward a 2nd wash at a later date. When she finally set up an appointment, the guy(s) that came out took the $100 gift certificate from her first. She asked if there would be anything left and they said no. When they brought the keys back, using a walker to get around she didn't go inspect the vehicle, trusting they had done a nice job. When she did check couple days later there was dried wax everywhere, on several panels and on various indentations. She called me very upset with the job, feeling totally taken advantage of. Because I bought the certificate over the phone and time had passed since the purchase, I was unsure where I had got it or I would have contacted them immediately. I wish I could post photos on Yelp because I took two that show several areas of dried wax still on the vehicle. Several days age while visiting I found the business card that came with the certificate in a drawer. Which is why I am just posting now. Josh, I still have the photos. These guys are the best. I recently returned from Burning Man (2014) and didn't want to pay the $750 cleaning fee or lose my $1000 deposit. There is no chance that I would have been able to clean the RV myself. A quick search turned up Sac Metro Detailing. I called the number and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Although they are experienced in restoring RV's to their original form, my RV was pretty trashed. Despite the condition, the guys were able to bring it back to life in a matter of hours. Most importantly they did it at a reasonable price. And YES! I GOT BACK MY FULL DEPOSIT. read more

Due to the extremely high ratings for this company we hired them to do a weekly cleaning on our vehicle with the plan of having them do 3-4 more vehicles as well. The first day Anthony called to inform us there was product issues and he would be late. He came and did a great job. Week 2 I called them to confirm the appointment and they said they needed to change it to another day but preferred to push it out into the following week?!! They scheduled for a couple days later. Week 3 called Monday to change Wednesdays appt AGAIN! I said that wont work as this appointment has been made for a week and schedules cannot be changed. Well here we are on Wednesday. The appointment was at 10 am. At 1020a I called Josh to find out what where Anthony was to do his job as he NO SHOWED and i had not received a call or text from them and he says "oh he isn't there?" said he would call me back as soon as possible. I since have called them 3 times with no answer. Needless to say they are FIRED!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! UNRELIABLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! This area is a big area but bad words spreads quick. Sac Metro is not someone i will ever refer or use again. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! read more
