    veggin burrito

[[HIGHLIGHT]]this location is located in a small plaza and it's kinda hidden[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], as soon as we arrived we got greeted and the girl working the cash register was so sweet and answered all our questions cause we were unsure of what to get, [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's space to eat outside as well[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], they have a huge variety of options and i like how they offer free coffee with a breakfast purchase, the prices are reasonable and i was so full i couldn't even finish the burrito, the burrito was a 8/10 so yummy and filled with a ton of veggies, will for sure come back when im in the area again!

Food is incredible and the service and hospitality matches! I came in with my young kids and they went above and beyond with giving my kids extra things on the house. We will definitely be back.

I don't know who created this place but I'm proud of you. You make a great sandwich. I tried the symphony and the van gogh. Both were wonderful. FULL OF WONDER. They both have a hearty helping of sprouts. I love a sandwich with a giant mass of sprouts. It's crunchy, tastes like rain, and is visually impressive. The bread on each sandwich was high quality and fresh. The turkey on the symphony was delicious. The roast beef had great taste but was difficult to bite through as part of a sandwich. The roast beef might have been better chopped but that idea also makes me sad. I'm not a mayonnaise guy. But I do like the *right* amount of mayo. Too many substandard sandwich shops are substituting mayo for flavorful ingredients (see Jimmy John's, Ike's, and world of sourdough). The people at Sacks do the *right* amount of mayo. AND it's good mayo??? How? Bacon was substantial and had good flavor. The havarti was mild but nice. The cookie was good. It's a nice sweet note at the end of your meal. If the sandwiches were a leeeetle cheaper, I could eat here several times a week. Let's do a bundle deal, Sacks. Regardless, I'm very pleased.

Pretty sure it's local, support local business! Anyway, Sacks has been around forever as far as I know. It's the type of place you're unlikely to go to for lunch without a wait and possibly hard to get ahold of during that time as well. I'm not sure if this still holds true but it certainly did back in the day day. Anyway, we ordered delivery through their catering delivery or what have you. My understanding is that the delivery cost was much lower than other places we've used. I had the Van Gogh, it was good though I'm not the biggest fan of stone ground mustard. I saw that it was on there and usually I'll suck it up but with this one, the mustard hid any hint or flavor of any dill sauce. I do believe the sandwich also had a dill sauce? I don't know. Sprouts LOL Throw sprouts on a sammy and nothing else matters for me. Dill sauce, no dill sauce, hate the mustard, sprouts and it's all ok. The cookie was a nice lil treat too!

So many sandwiches to chose from! I got the Art Deco and the sacks symphony and they were both good. They even gave you a cookie with the sandwiches. The place is pretty spacious.

Sacks Symphony Sandwich minus the cream cheese.

I had the craving for a turkey sandwich at the unusual hour of 8am, my normal places weren't open yet so I explored Ubereats and came across Sacks (Tempe). I knew there was one in Arcadia that was supposed to be good but they weren't on UE for some reason. So I tried the Sacks Turkey Symphony less the cream cheese and Mayo on the side (I like control over my condiments), 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy (gravy on side), and some "assorted chips" which turned out to be the classic lays. In short everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Would recommend if you need a good sandwich or some comfort food!

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. I took my guy and we enjoyed a salad, another breakfast wrap, and: -Chicken + Prosciutto Sandwich: grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon (no dijon for us), on a house bun. If you're in the area, looking for a healthy-ish breakfast, lunch, or snack, definitely check out Original ChopShop. Note: it gets busy at peak meal hours with students and faculty. Order at the kiosks (super easy), grab a number, find a table in their cozy interior or on their large front patio, and your food will be brought to you. Have a question? Just ask - the staff were very friendly and helpful in guiding our choices. And I love that they allow modifications to most menu items! We'll be back!!!

The sandwiches come with a purple Italian style dressing ( not sure what is was) that you may find off-putting so if you are sensitive to that stuff get the sauce on the side. I didn't mind it all. We were welcomed with a friendly smile. We explained that the other half of our party was on their way & the host promptly prepared our table... mostly. There were small plates set for each of us, but only one roll-up/napkin (for 4) & no drink menu. Minor details, but it kinda set the tone for the service experience. Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. That kind of accountability goes a long way. Overall, I'd still go back & give them another try because the atmosphere was fun, the vibe was there, and I can see the potential. Both came quickly and was yummy but I was disappointed that I wasn't asked if I wanted the turkey sausage or duck bacon so I forgot to even ask for the duck bacon and I wanted the sandwich specifically to try that. Maybe next time. I would have given this a 5 stars if the server was able to advice on what was in the sangria and also reminded me of the meat choice for the breakfast but still all in all a great experience.
