Sacks Sandwiches is priced very fairly especially for the amount of food you are given. A single sandwich order includes a side of your choice if you like and a freshly baked cookie. My partner got the Van Gogh and enjoyed it a lot. He was able to finish it in one sitting. I got the O'Keefe and finished it in one sitting, but I should have saved the second half for later. They don't skimp on fillings! We shared an order of fries for our side. The fries are seasoned with seasoned salt and tasted pretty standard. Because we took our lunch to go, they did got soggy and steamed in the bag. The cookie is small, but a very nice treat at the end. The one we got was chocolate chip. Three times now that I have ordered my sandwich, the driver either "can't find the place"or just takes my sandwich and says that can't find my address. I don't know who created this place but I'm proud of you. You make a great sandwich. I tried the symphony and the van gogh. Both were wonderful. FULL OF WONDER. They both have a hearty helping of sprouts. I love a sandwich with a giant mass of sprouts. It's crunchy, tastes like rain, and is visually impressive. The bread on each sandwich was high quality and fresh. The turkey on the symphony was delicious. The roast beef had great taste but was difficult to bite through as part of a sandwich. The roast beef might have been better chopped but that idea also makes me sad. I'm not a mayonnaise guy. But I do like the *right* amount of mayo. Too many substandard sandwich shops are substituting mayo for flavorful ingredients (see Jimmy John's, Ike's, and world of sourdough). The people at Sacks do the *right* amount of mayo. AND it's good mayo??? How? Bacon was substantial and had good flavor. The havarti was mild but nice. The cookie was good. It's a nice sweet note at the end of your meal. If the sandwiches were a leeeetle cheaper, I could eat here several times a week. Let's do a bundle deal, Sacks. Regardless, I'm very pleased. read more

Pretty sure it's local, support local business! Anyway, Sacks has been around forever as far as I know. It's the type of place you're unlikely to go to for lunch without a wait and possibly hard to get ahold of during that time as well. I'm not sure if this still holds true but it certainly did back in the day day. Anyway, we ordered delivery through their catering delivery or what have you. My understanding is that the delivery cost was much lower than other places we've used. I had the Van Gogh, it was good though I'm not the biggest fan of stone ground mustard. I saw that it was on there and usually I'll suck it up but with this one, the mustard hid any hint or flavor of any dill sauce. I do believe the sandwich also had a dill sauce? I don't know. Sprouts LOL Throw sprouts on a sammy and nothing else matters for me. Dill sauce, no dill sauce, hate the mustard, sprouts and it's all ok. The cookie was a nice lil treat too! read more

After being drawn in by their "Initials of the Day" promotion, I discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant. They offer all sorts of food, from breakfast-all-day to pasta dinners, but I had their "Art Deco" (it roughly corresponds to a cold Italian) sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie for lunch. Both were absolutely delicious! The food was prepared quickly, and everyone I met working there was friendly and professional. I had the craving for a turkey sandwich at the unusual hour of 8am, my normal places weren't open yet so I explored Ubereats and came across Sacks (Tempe). I knew there was one in Arcadia that was supposed to be good but they weren't on UE for some reason. So I tried the Sacks Turkey Symphony less the cream cheese and Mayo on the side (I like control over my condiments), 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy (gravy on side), and some "assorted chips" which turned out to be the classic lays. So, since my nickname is Jas, I decided to try The Jazz Sandwich, as it was only fitting. This sandwich is a BLT with avocado and cream cheese, I ordered mine without cream cheese though. All of the ingredients were fresh and I especially liked the bread, which was a multigrain wheat bread. The bread was soft and fluffy, just like I like it! I also bought a medium drink and 2 chocolate chip cookies (I didn't even ask, but I think I would've preferred my sandwich with a pickle. Idk if they have pickles, but I assume the would...). I also tipped... So, I paid about $15. So, I think I'll just order the sandwich for future visits even though the cookies where soft and chewy lol It was busy when I went in. It looks like a popular place to grab lunch which is understandable. It's a comfortable atmosphere and the sandwiches are great! They have a tv. Sacks Sandwiches are scrumptious! Stopped in here while stupendously starving. The menu sports several selections for your sandwich, as well as salads and breakfast. I love how so many of the names are art or music themed. Service was scintillating at the counter. I had the peppy breakfast sandwich. It sure seemed like seconds before my sandwich was ready. It was packaged securely in a snowy white sack, hence the name Sacks! The sandwich was deeelicious. The bread, a unique tomato basil, was nice n toasty, the eggs soft and fluffy, bacon lightly crisp, and veggies of tomato and 'shrooms were fresh. The pepperjack cheese and jalapenos added just the right amount of seasoning and spiciness. As a sweet side, there was a single sugary chocolate chip cookie. The total for the sandwich was around $7-8. It's not the cheapest option out there so you can't be a stingy scrooge if you eat here but you also won't be breaking the bank for a tasty meal. read more

Unfortunately his sandwich completely fell apart when trying to eat it and the eggs Benedict had too much holandise sauce and made the meal very soggy. The free coffee was not good and I didn't want to refill it. Based on the breakfast food - I don't recommend Sacks for brunch. Lunch menu is much better. I really like the chicken salad. Solid 5 stars! What's not to love about the sandwiches here. I first heard of and experienced Sacks about 2 weeks ago at work. They catered out monthly staff meeting. We LOVED the sandwiches. Every single one! At the time I tried half of a turkey sandwich, half roast beef sandwich and a little garden salad. Scrumptious! My co worker and I have been thinking about those sandwiches since we had them and finally decided to check out the shop. There were so many options to choose from. I love the names of the sandwiches. We both ordered the Art Deco which had ham, salami, lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers and Italian dressing on it. I added Dijon mustard and mayo to my sandwich. My co worker added turkey to hers. I loved it that way .. next time I'll do the same. The deli meat itself was soooo good. The cuts were nice and thick and not too salty. The bread was also very, VERY good. I'm assuming they bake it fresh there because it certainly taste like it was. The sandwich wad HUGE! Neither one of us were able to finish ours so we have dinner tonight. She suggested that we share a sandwich next time .. I think not! It's too good to share :) They also serve breakfast sandwiches. The food was good but the tooth pick that is usually placed on top of the sandwich to hold it together was completely in my sandwich. I bit down and the tooth pick pricked the top of my mouth. Amazing! I ate there for lunch and breakfast and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! Daily specials are delicious, Ruben sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, bread is soft and lots of meat! Breakfast came out fast and we got the scramble, papa grande, waffles, chicken friend steak and the scramble as a burrito! Plates were licked clean and it is definitely our new favorite!
