Ambience and service. Good food too. Taco special every Friday. $1.00 tacos. The owners are great and occasionally there is live music.

We have been at this restaurant several times before and it never disappoints. We ordered the Mixed Grill again and it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the Curry Chicken was out of this world!! The rice, prawns, and green beans complement the dish perfectly. Our service was excellent and the ambience is always casual. Great food and a great atmosphere!!

My wife and I had a rare night out for dinner last night and we were in Post Falls. The White House Grill is famous for their garlicky foods (not all) and we like that. We could smell garlic at the entrance. My wife ordered a version of a gyro and Greek salad, which she described as "OK." It was a pita with curried chicken, unlike what she preferred as a gyro (chicken, no curry), but she tried it. I ordered the souvlaki (lamb kabobs), served over a large bed of rice and with "garlicky" green beans. The lamb, by the way was very tough to cut and to chew, more like mutton but not with any fat. Rethinking, I shouldn't have tried lamb at all, simply on ethics (mine). It looked enticing but I couldn't taste any of it. That is because I couldn't smell any of it, even when holding the plate right under my nose. No smell, no taste. That was because our 18-ish server was reeking of perfume, like she bathed in it. I believe there was another servicer of about the same age walking around with the same odor. It reminded me of a church service and elderly ladies. The most difficult part here is that our server was great! She was clear-spoken, sharp, and friendly. I just couldn't breathe when she came to our table (3-4 times). Maybe she doesn't like to smell garlic or want to smell like it, herself, but I can't return. I have two adult children who are both professional servers, so I hope these young women will understand and make adjustments for the customers. She truly is great at her job, otherwise.

Iron, Wood and Ice is in walking distance of our home. My wife and I are quite happy about that!…read more We love coming here for both lunch and dinner. It's a beautiful setting overlooking the golf course and the dining room is nice. The service is great with everyone smiling and giving great suggestions. Service is a bit slow, I think maybe understaffed, but with a little patience, it's a fun experience. It's fun to come on Thursday nights when they have dueling pianos. They have other specials throughout the week like whisky Wednesday, 20% off all whiskey, taco Tuesday, three tacos for $9, and mimosa flights on weekends. The food is quite tasty, but I do wish the menu was bigger. More light fares like a pasta with a light sauce, or button mushrooms app, or more flatbreads to choose from would be great. Overall, great place to chill, eat good food and have a good walk afterwards. I recommend it!

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this place yet, given that I come here quite a bit…read more So, first up, this place is a combination of a bar, a restaurant, digital golf course, and hotel. So walking in can be kind of confusing if you don't know where you're going. Just talk to the staff right in front of the door, and they'll help you. The menu changes a little bit depending on the season, but they always have some good food on there. The bar has a bunch of good beers on tap. The digital golf course has the CdA resort course on there, so you can play the Coeur d'Alene Resort without having to pay an entire paycheck. I like this place. A lot.

Made group reservations well in advance for a party of 14 and were VERY EXCITED for New Year's Eve…read more Was not even sat together, was split into 2 tables when there were other options/places to put us together. 3 people had to sit apart from us. Was very disappointed in that. And one person didn't get their food till the rest of us were almost finished. We were approached about 'how troublesome splitting the bill was going to be' ...yet we had no intention of splitting the bill and only wanted one check. No one was ever able to order a second beverage. And we got the bread after our food, once we asked if our meals came with bread. We didn't feel very welcome. We realize it was a busy night and we THOUGHT we had planned accordingly, only to be treated as an inconvenience. Also, Both people who ordered the burger special were sick as soon as we got home. Overall disappointing experience that we'd hoped would be a great night out for our group. Positive note: apps were DELICIOUS

The bar tender is fun to talk with as well. The drinks are creative and very tasty. We also love to order the small dishes. When our son is home, we like to go here for dinner. I would say we have dinner more often at their sister restaurant, The White House, but we like to come here for a fun atmosphere and good food. Our son likes it better. So, there's something for everyone here and it certainly worth visiting.
