Ambience and service. Good food too. Taco special every Friday. $1.00 tacos. The owners are great and occasionally there is live music.

We have been at this restaurant several times before and it never disappoints. We ordered the Mixed Grill again and it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and the Curry Chicken was out of this world!! The rice, prawns, and green beans complement the dish perfectly. Our service was excellent and the ambience is always casual. Great food and a great atmosphere!!

And when it's a Greek restaurant on top of that, that's basically a recipe for perfection. You can smell this place from blocks away. By the time you get to the parking lot, you're already salivating in anticipation. Vampires be warned: you're not getting within a half mile of this place! Sure, not everything was perfect about our meal: the Sarmisak (garlic dip with walnuts and parmesan) didn't do much for us, and my wife ended up preferring my Bahce over her grill plate (I can't remember the name of it), so we ended up swapping dishes. The Turkish Cigars were a huge hit with both of us, although we both wished they were a bit larger. I'm not sure I quite "get" the running aesthetic going on here at "The White House", as well as their sister establishments "The Oval Office", "The Pentagon", and "The Capitol". I mean, I get the theme, but...why? I don't get the Why of it all. Regardless, it's immaterial. The food is awesome, and worthy of a President. Well, not our current President...but one of the good ones, for sure! The staff are efficient, somehow buzzing about all over the place, managing the chaos (this place was PACKED on a Saturday night), but still managed to be friendly, attentive and focused. And despite ordering two cocktails, two appetizers, and two entreés, our bill was somehow still less than $100, I'd say that you definitely get your money's worth here! Hell, we even took enough leftover back to our hotel to keep us fed almost the entire next day! In short, I would vote whomever is running THIS White House in for a second term...and a third...and a fourth!

Crispy outside, juicy inside. If you like a good buffalo wing for its flavor and not for being a scorcher, this is a great wing for you. My partner had the turkey huckleberry sandwich, and he liked it quite well! We were a bit sad about the green beans. They looked excellent, but were very underdone. We did let the waitress know and she was gracious about it and said she would let the kitchen know. We took them home and reheated them in our steamer basket and they were good. The atmosphere is kind of cute and farmhouse chic, the very open floor plan does get loud though so foam boards to reduce echo would help a lot. The only other downside was just that the service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy for a weekday night. Overall, we liked it and will probably be back - I look forward to seeing if their menu changes with the seasons.

Sawmill Grille & Spirits in Post Falls absolutely deserves five stars…read more My wife had the meatloaf burger, and I went with the cod fish and chips. Both were outstanding. The cod was cooked to perfection -- tender, flaky, and not overcooked. The batter was light, crispy, and full of flavor without overpowering the fish. Honestly, the fish was so good it didn't even need tartar sauce, which is saying something. Their tartar sauce was outstanding too, but the fish easily stood on its own. My wife's meatloaf burger was just as impressive. Perfectly seasoned meatloaf, crispy onions, and cheese made for one hell of a burger. Definitely not your everyday burger, and she loved it. A big part of what made the visit memorable was our bartender, Dave. He was fantastic helping us with a couple specialty drinks and made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. We also found out Dave is an Air Force veteran, and he did us a solid by making sure we received the military discount. That kind of gesture means a lot and was greatly appreciated. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with genuinely great service and someone behind the bar who actually takes care of people, that's what makes you remember a place. Excellent food, outstanding drinks, and fantastic service from Dave. Sawmill Grille & Spirits nailed it, and we'll absolutely be back.

It's a beautiful setting overlooking the golf course and the dining room is nice. The service is great with everyone smiling and giving great suggestions. Service is a bit slow, I think maybe understaffed, but with a little patience, it's a fun experience. It's fun to come on Thursday nights when they have dueling pianos. They have other specials throughout the week like whisky Wednesday, 20% off all whiskey, taco Tuesday, three tacos for $9, and mimosa flights on weekends. The food is quite tasty, but I do wish the menu was bigger. More light fares like a pasta with a light sauce, or button mushrooms app, or more flatbreads to choose from would be great. Overall, great place to chill, eat good food and have a good walk afterwards. I recommend it!

So walking in can be kind of confusing if you don't know where you're going. Just talk to the staff right in front of the door, and they'll help you. The menu changes a little bit depending on the season, but they always have some good food on there. The bar has a bunch of good beers on tap. The digital golf course has the CdA resort course on there, so you can play the Coeur d'Alene Resort without having to pay an entire paycheck. I like this place. A lot.
