Visited their lovely bakery on Mother's Day. We enjoyed tasting several delicious treats served by a gentleman who was so helpful and informative. My husband loved their peanut brittle, which we bought, and will return for their almond Rocha. We bought the cranberry and orange Challah bread. It is so delicious. Light delicious bread eaten as is or great for toast or French toast. We will return for their cherry cheesecake. What an incredibly creamy cheesecake. We loved this place from the moment we parked. The outside is so cute with a small-town feel including beautiful flowers and piggies. Inside is a small room with so many baked goods that it is tough not to want one of each. We have returned many times as there are new items as well as old favorites every time. We have recently discovered their delicious pumpkin pie with a crumble topping. We never miss out on the biscuits, sticky buns, and salted caramel buns. They do sell out of favorites. The atmosphere is congenial so we have given up a favorite to out of town guests as we can always come back. There are samples given out and many also buy some food to feed to the piggies outside. We always have fast and friendly service, but the cashier is willing and able to chat about any of the baked goods without rushing anyone. read more

We loved this little bakery. Don't sleep on the eclairs (they were frozen), they are amazing! Filled with delicious smooth custard, like they are supposed to be. The extra sour sourdough bread is truly that, sour and delicious. We grilled it with a little butter and garlic. So damn good! Picked up some caramel for apple slices later. I'm a sucker for bakeries and baked goods, I really wanted to like this place more but I was left a bit disappointed. Tried the cheese and garlic scones, the dough felt and tasted undercooked. The cinnamon swirl bread was dry, the swirl barely there and just not much to it. We did love the peppermint patties and liked the shortbread cookies. read more

Very friendly, gave big samples, and had pigs out front (which the kids loved!) the cinnamon rolls and sticky buns were excellent.

The Rosemary bread and the Extra Sourdough bread are exceptional and the slices toast nicely. The Garlic Chips are crunchy and perfect. The Lemon Bars we all wished had a much more tangy punch and were just so so. The Lemon Meringue Pie however had the perfect tasty lemon zing and the meringue was perfect. The crust though on ours was a bit mushy. Didn't ruin what was a good pie but a really great crust would have made the pie ideal. read more

I remember when I learned we were getting another bakery and I could not imagine how they would all survive in a small market. This bakery is very different than you might expect. First, we use their pizza dough exclusively. You can buy it frozen. Second, the desserts. OMG. This bakery features shortbreads, caramels, cakes, cookies, and other sweets. I buy the big packs, freeze them, and cut them down into bite sized canape pieces for when we entertain. The BISCUITS! Grab a big bag of biscuits to keep in the freeze and reheat as needed. These biscuits are actually better than my grandmothers scratch recipe. Add to the experience a chance to pet a pot bellied pig in the yard if you desire, and Sadie and Josies is well worth the trip. read more

Wide selection of baked goods, and everything we tried was delicious! One thing to consider: most of the items are sold pre-packaged in groups of 6 or 12, making them better for taking home/sharing with friends rather than sitting and snacking. More to enjoy! read more

Stopped in on our way back from the Cranberry Museum and my of my the pies and cakes are delicious. My wife bought pecan candies and Momma's Little Baby loves shortnin' bread shortbread cookies. Finally stopped in to the lemon-yellow bakery just a bit off Pacific Highway here While the building appears sizable, most of it must be the bakery, the retail store is smaller than you might expect. You wont find doughnuts here, but they do have pastries, bear claws and lots of baked confections like pecan bars, etc. The drawback is that everything is prepackaged in earth-harming, wont-decay-for-100000-years, clear plastic. Here in an oceanfront community under constant assault from sea-borne plastic one mightve hoped for an alternative. And since it is prepackaged, you will have to commit to a product instead of an a-la-carte option that you might find in other bakeries that have a glass display case where you can pick and choose, and have it in a cardboard box. So that said, we did get a 4-pack of buttercreme cinnamon rolls (I think it was $7.50), they were delicious after a little microwave warming. We'll try to reuse the plastic container. We also snared a glass-jar (yay, earth friendly) of wild honey, delicious. Service was friendly and quick, prices reasonable. Losing a star due to plastic. I'm a fan of the product, but the packaging will keep this tree-hugger away. read more

will not be back 1 - a bakery that does not open until 11 AM 2 mostly frozen, I did not see anything baked today. 3 asked to buy 2 biscuits, all they had was a dozen frozen and would not separate. 4 asked when I could buy fresh biscuits- was told they would /e out Of the oven in one hour. 5- returned in 1 1/2 hours. and the 12 frozen biscuits that they would not separate were now $1 off - these were frozen 6- biscuits were "still in the oven" 7 they want to sell what they want to sell, terrible customer service, I will not go back. read more

This place is amazing!!!!! We have been in 5 times now and they do not disappoint. We have tried lots of things, my faves are there fudge with marshmallows and coconut, there cake slices with whip cream frosting, lemon bars, chocolate caramels to name a few. I just have to comment on the so called Key Lime Pie. The 1st time I was craving the keylime, that I almost forgot why I did not go back to get another. My wife did however, to surprise me though and she did. I had never had a key lime pie with a vanilla wafer crust and this is what I had forgotten. This 2nd time around has been 8 months later. Again a so called vanilla wafer crust but not really. It was like a crumble crust. Not even crumble more like crumbs. The filling did not adhere to the crumbs and so it is more or less like lime tasting creme filling that I did sprinkle the crumbs on top. It was a mess of a desert really when we all just were craving a slice of ...pie. I decided to actually drive the 9 miles to return it cause it was pricey for us at $16.50.....for creme pudding with crumbs. Their phone was not working as I tried 8 times and so I drove there. The girl working was told not to return the $ but I insisted, and explained my reasoning to the young man who came from the backroom, so I figured him to be a baker. They don't use eggs and not much butter.....also, the supposed Key Lime is actually...lime juice. Next time, I bring home 2 Marie C's for the same price. We tried twice but will pass in the future. I'm also a big fan of the traditional graham cracker crust. Vanilla Wafers?....ok...but not for me. read more
