Per recommendation of front desk at RiverTide Suites we tried this place out. Not disappointed,…read moreservice was friendly, good amount of seating indoors and out and partially out as we were. Outdoor has large tables with fireplaces which would be great for large groups. We started with the fast fried Calamari, which was a good amount with both rings and tentacles. Wife had the Cioppino while I had the Seafood Pasta. The Cioppino was a bit pricey; however, was loaded with seafood and included some king crab which we had not seen at other places we have had the dish. The Seafood Pasta was rich and also loaded with seafood. Would certainly recommend if searching for seafood. Note: when we came at 6pm on a Monday we were told there was a 20min wait. We walked around the boardwalk and returned in 15 and the table was ready in less than 5min.

Located in the heart of Seaside, it is considered a higher end restaurant…read more We sat outside at one of several fire pits to have dinner. It was 6:30 pm on a weeknight and the place was only half full. It still took a waitress over 10 minutes to come by, where she asked if we were ready to order dinner. No water, no drinks or apps offered. We ordered a Moscato and a beer sampler along with ceviche. The ceviche was very good with a slight bite to it. The Moscato was flat and obviously opened long ago. The beers were fine. I also ordered a cup of clam chowder that was excellent. Best part of the meal. Our entrees of fried oysters and halibut fish and chips came quickly. The GF felt the oysters were too heavily battered for her taste, the fish and chips were quite good. Waitress came back to check on us when we were almost finished eating. Had to go track her down to get our check. Another restaurant that survives on tourist volume and not quality of product or service. Wouldn't go back - though the chowder was tasty.

Nice little nook of heaven. Drinks were great! You should expect a long wait time which is great…read morefor walking the beach! Food was also very good. I got the chilaquiles and the only thing I would note is that if you don't like goat cheese probably not for you. The chips are cheesy with goat cheese! My boyfriend got the Smoke Ham Benedict and of course they were no complaints. The home fries are to die for, but other than my minor personal dislike I would def recommend this spot!

I was recently visiting the Oregon coast and someone recommended this place. I'm so glad we came…read more Even though I was staying in Cannon Beach, I took a wrong turn and ended up in Seaside, and coincidentally stumbled across Osprey Cafe! It's a small restaurant inside with a few tables outside. When you put your name down with the hostess, she actually calls your phone number to tell you the table is ready! What great service. When it came time to eat, my friend and I ordered the breakfast and lunch special respectively. The lunch special that day was pork adobo sandwich with fries. I happened to ask for ranch on the side and OMG that was the best decision I made that day. Their ranch is one of the best ranches I've ever had. It's packed with dill and it's not too runny. I will be remembering THE RANCH DRESSING from here for a long time!! Osprey is a hidden gem on the coast and I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area!

This is a fun stop…read more Giant selection of saltwater taffy, chocolates, ice cream, hard candies, jelly beans, whathaveyou. Some is in the aisles and some is via the staff behind the countertop. Cute cow bench outside if you'd rather wait while your loved one stocks up. Interesting to buy and also just to browse - I loved looking at all of the old fashioned candy boxes on the walls. Some Asian candies, mostly U.S. of A. A big attraction is the "seafoam" candy. Also they have merch, primarily the type of keychains and necklaces that have your name on them, and also a surprising amount of dog-related merch, including a bone-shaped dog toy and some cute signage. The staff were some of the friendliest we've ever encountered. They were so polite and eager and really seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Kind of a let down this visit to this beloved candy shop that we stop at every time we visit…read moreSeaside. Today the jelly belly's had not even half of the flavors that they usually have. We wanted caramel apples and asked if they had any and the girl said no. There was only a fruity pebble flavor and a white chocolate one. They are usually making candy apples and have plenty. It was busy but only 2 people working with one register open. We love this store because of all the nostalgic candies and fun gifts. The fudge assortment is great here but the line was way too long to wait for any of the candy in yen cases.
