But once she got there (I cannot remember her name! She was a younger African American woman) she came to see us right away and pretty much dove right into work. She was extremely helpful and very kind and understanding. She got to work on my shepherd and fixed his paw all up. (He just cut his paw but was bleeding EVERYWHERE) They ended up neutering him too while he was under anesthesia, per our consent of course lol, which was really nice because we wouldn't have even thought to ask! Which really saved us some money in the long run. Everyone in this hospital was very easy and nice to work with in such a stressful situation. And the bill was way less than what I was expecting which is great! I highly recommend this hospital to anyone that needs emergency care

Once I got in the room before even looking at my dog, they brought a piece of paper in with 5 test to run on my dog for $500. I told them I just want a x-ray first to see what the issue it. On the paper it said X-Rays $76, they did 2 for some reason. When I got the bill I was charged twice for x-rays sense they did 2 (That they never said would be extra) His visit cost more then a humans visit to the ER! If you do not have an emergency, go someone else. Also their X-Ray machine take horrible pictures, hard to see. Total: Sign in Fee: $75 X-Rays : $76 + $45 (For second shot) Shot: $35 Meds: $200 ______________ Total $431

We were concerned about Daisy's fear of large dogs due to being attacked several times. At the end of three days Daisy was in the park with Mak and the larger dogs and doing very well. Nichole was very professional and gave us an excellent tour. Gave us spot on information about Fur-baby's and was very helpful. I was amazed at how clean and well kept the facilities were. When we toured the inner kennel there were no urine or feces smell and the dogs were kept in custom made wooden kennels. I have toured several kennels in the Columbus area and the smell hit me like a brick the second I walked in. Not here! When we toured the run area we were not only surprised at how big it was but also how clean! Not one sight of doggy doo anywhere. Oh and Did I mention the pictures they post several times a day! Just awesome and made us very comfortable. Thank you Fur-babies!

The owner allows her to be rude and treat customers any way. I have used them before and the groomer who no longer works there was respectful, patient with my dog and professional. The owner was too busy trying to bash the old worker that he didn't listen or address my concerns with the new puppy. He is money hungry and racist. My dog was shaking when I picked him up. Stay away from this place.

My dog (Miniature Poodle) would get whirlpool baths from them. She would get so excited when we would get within a block of approaching the shop. I was amazed but I knew Dawn O, the owner had been on the national and international level judging Dog shows when I saw her on a cable show judging designs and cuts on various breeds. She's been on NBC with her own designs and cuts on dogs. She knows what the judges look for when you enter your dog for show. They love dogs and it shows. My dogs is just as happy if not happier and healthy when I pick her up from dropping her off cause she looks picture perfect wonderful. The staff is always happy and friendly which does make a difference. I found this salon after I took my purebred dog, puppy at the time to Petsmart where she had razor burns and miscuts that were lopsided balls on a poodle and they charged me $85. You could see they hurt my baby by her dried tears on her face. I recommend Klippers so no dog should endure such horror but have a happy positive experience and look beautiful.

He had been running around like this for some time (a few months) as I fed him he got a little stronger, I saved some money and brought him to Dr. Lefranc. When I say the cat was ragged, it's a kindness, he had matted fur, smelled horrible, and was hopping around on the equivalent of a broken forearm. His will to live amazed me and when I brought him to Lefranc he couldn't have been kinder and more gentle. He examined him, told me what he was going to do (he had to amputate his arm to the shoulder) and told me how much it would all cost. (He actually had a lot more to do: de-flea him b/c of the surgery, groom his matted fur, fix him, and do the amputation... and all of this was far less than I expected to pay). After the surgery I went in every day to check in on the stray, make sure he knew I didn't abandon him and the staff and Dr couldn't be kinder, letting me in back to hold and pet him. 4 days later I brought him home, named him Stinky (halitosis) and I have never had a sweeter cat in my life. He traveled from Columbus, Ga to Brooklyn, NY and all around Manhattan, all the while my constant companion saw me single, married, and met my child (who's first words were 'cat' and 'stinky'). This cat survived and lived much longer and had a better life because of Dr. Lefranc and his caring staff and I could never thank them enough. I write this today because after 8 years Stinky has moved on peacefully, and I needed to make sure that Dr. Lefranc knows what he did was a blessing for me and my family. Thank you.

Recently, we had to manage end-of-life planning for our beloved dog, Harbaugh. The entire team was understanding and supportive as we made one of the hardest decisions of our lives, and they treated Harbaugh's journey with dignity and love. Their thoughtfulness and caring has always been extensive, but in this case, they personally delivered a beautiful flower arrangement and a heartfelt card that brought us so much comfort. It meant the world to us to be cared for not just as clients, but as family walking through grief. We cannot thank 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital enough for their continuous compassion and support. For that, we give them the highest recommendation.
