This company offers price match, but if you find a cheaper price they tell you they don't match that company. They asked for my VIN so that they could give me an "accurate price" yet when my wife went in they up charged her $40 for a humidity sensor. Her appointment was set for 9:00 and the mechanic didn't bother to show up until after 9:30. Once my wife was told the window replacement was complete she returned to the car to find none of the trim had been put back into place. The cherry on top was finding a razor blade the next day which the mechanic left on the floor (luckily found by my wife, not child) In summary: false advertising, sketchy pricing practices, unprofessional, half done job, and left a dangerous tool behind for my child to find. read more

Over 2 months later and calling each week for a status, nothing has been done to correct. So living in Walkers point i get a broken car window about every three months.... And always the rear passenger window. These guys gave me a fair quote fast and got me the next day in and out in an hour. I didn't use insurance so i don't know about that, but for cash they were maybe 15% cheaper than other guys. I bought a brand new car and before I even took delivery of it, the dealership had it tinted for me. I signed papers while car was being tinted. 8 miles on odometer at drop off. My technician went to pick car up late afternoon and it was not done. He came back after work, it was dark, picked it up and drove it home. Upon inspecting the tint, there were air bubbles, wrinkles, tint cut too short for window, they discolored the trim with heat gun and some dinged the paint getting in and out of it, removing the clear coat in a spot. I took the car back to the shop the next morning. All the doors were locked except the big bay door. No one even I acknowledged I walked right into the shop. I said excuse me 4 times a little louder each time and finally just yelled "hello?" bwfore some one helped me. I explained they tinted my windows and I was pissed. I was told I wanted to talk to Tom up front. As I turned to walk to the front, the owner appeared, what do you want. I said" ok you tinted my windows yesterday and I'm pissed." He starts yelling at me, telling me to talk to him with respect or I can, and I quote, "get the f*^* out." He then walked around a delivery truck to leave and I asked if he was going to give me the chance to have a conversation or if he was just going to walk away. He spun around, came towards me yelling "you talk to me with respect Or the f*^* out! I had receipt in my hand to prove it was them that did the work and he took that as disrespect because I was trying to explain that they didn't even have the paperwork for my car correct by. Customer name on my receipt was for dealership where I bought the car. I tried to ask him to at least look at it and he threw me out of his shop! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We could not have asked for a better experience. Exceptional work and fairly priced for our replacement passenger window. Our trip to Milwaukee started off rough (our passenger window was smashed and everything stolen) but Safe Auto Glass and the owner went above and beyond for us. We were referred to Safe Auto Glass by the Nissan Dealership. We called the dealership first for a replacement window to be installed (they did not have it in stock and told us if anyone would have it in stock it would be Safe Auto Glass). The dealership was correct! Not only did Safe Auto Glass have it in stock but they could get it installed by noon that same day! I had a group on for an auto detailing package. Made an appointment and showed up on time for a noon appointment. I was told to expect approximately 3 hours for completion. I received a phone call 2 hours and 45 minutes later (expecting the call to tell me my car was ready for pick up) however the call was to tell me that they had a technician go home sick and my car would need to be picked up and was not serviced. I understand that staff was sick but I do not understand why it took 2hr and 45 min to alert me that my car detail would not be taking place as in this time frame my car detail should have been near completed. I asked the manager for an explanation and I was not given one, not even an apology. The manager didn't even listen to me prior to telling me i needed to listen to him and then he ranted on about if he was supposed to hold up his sick employee and keep him at work. The manger even went as far as hanging up the phone on me. I would have understood if i was called to pick up my car in that first half hour when they never had the intention to complete service on my vehicle. The customer service was awful. When we went back to get keys again the manager had no explanation for the delay in call and no apology at all. No attempt was even made to exert one ounce of customer service. An "I'm sorry that this inconvenienced you" would have gone a long way. I would not recommend this location on 27th street for any service given the customer service that I received today. read more

I waited 5 hours for install if they would have let me know; I would have not cared I work nights so now I am going to be up for 24 hours straight. I just called and the guy said there is nothing I can do or say that will make you happy but all I can say is sorry. Also one of the employees told me the car was done; it was stuck between two other vehicles and they were finishing up on another car before they could move it; the person I talk to said that didn't happen, but it did. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years I am probably more patient and understanding than most but quote was for 2.5 hours and I waited 5 hours cause of warehouse issue and my car being blocked in. Had my rear passenger window busted out on a Sunday went to the website for a quote and got a quote within MINUTES! Called the store to schedule an appointment and I was able to bring it in the best day. Apparently the only day you need an appointment is on Sunday which is pretty cool if you need something done in a hurry. And they only took a few hours to fix it. Not professional, poor communication, and false promises. I made contact with Safe Auto Glass on Friday afternoon, and at first, I was impressed that they had our windshield in stock and a reasonable quote of $296 installed, and that they could take our truck Saturday morning. We opted for a Monday morning appointment- the time we were quoted was "before 11am." My husband stayed home from work waiting, and when we had not heard from them at 10:30am we called for confirmation. We were told that we were "next" and that the technician would be out soon. We were also informed that there was this 3 hour window and that we were still within the window... Joseph told me he would have his tech call me with more of an exact time. My husband asked if we should just reschedule since he did not intend to miss the entire day of work at home waiting. He was promised that we were next and that the tech would be calling shortly to confirm. 12:30 came around and no one had showed up or called... I called back, yet again, and was told "I'm sorry, but since there are snowflakes coming down we have to wait for the snowing to stop." So my husband asked, yet again, why don't we just reschedule for another day... Again, he was told that we were next and the tech should be to our house shortly to do the job. 4pm rolled around- no technician. I called, again for the 4th or 5th time, and was told that we needed to take it into a garage if we wanted it completed today due to the snowflakes. My husband asked why wasn't he told about taking it to the garage at 9am, or at 10:30 when he asked if they should reschedule... he was told "I'm sorry, all my guys are out right now, but you are next, and they will meet you at the garage at 5:30!!" By this time, I had completed a full day at work, my husband had taken the entire day off to find out that the window was still not done. Now we were asked to leave our home in the evening well after the "3 hour window for service" was over... We were met at the garage by 2 Safe Auto Glass vans. We were told that there were no more open garage bays to do our truck. As I sat in that lot, about ready to completely lose it, the management was able to figure out how to get us in to a garage space at about 6:10pm. The techs were quite possibly as angry as we were since, as they told us, were supposed to be done working at 6pm and now here they were starting a new how after 6pm... We finally had our truck ready at about 7pm. So much for the 11:00am appointment. My husband lost the whole day, and they never even came out to us. No discount or credits were offered for our inconvenience. read more

I had an excellent experience with Safe Auto Glass from beginning to end. When I filled out the on-line quote I was promptly contacted by Joseph who had a few additional question about my Tundra. When I called to schedule an appointment I was happy to find out the installers could come to my place of employment and swap out the windshield. I had a question about the glass that was in my Tundra. It is a Platinum model and I wasn't certain if it came with OEM sound insulating acoustical glass. Mike made a few phone calls and located the correct glass for me. The install went great. I found my truck in the same condition they found with the exception of a brand new windshield. After two bad experiences with the large national auto glass chain I was thoroughly impressed the service and the quality of work. I just don't want to visit too often! read more

Paid extra to have them come out to our house to replace a windshield.They said they would be there around noon,so at 3 O`clock they show up,they were nice and worked quick.A little too quick maybe.The next day as we were driving we can hear a whistle coming from the windshield pretty loud.Called them to see what the deal was,terrible customer service.They are suppose to come to my work tomorrow to fix this,after arguing for 30 min about it.Never again, complete hack job on the glass,and jerks in the office. Lies. This company is all lies. They say they're from Madison on Dovetail Drive, but they're actually from Milwaukee. They said they would be here at 8 AM today, and they did not get here until just now. The technician seems incompetent. The office manager is rude and all he does is lie. The woman who took my reservation is a trained liar. I did not realize they were not Auto Glass Specialists until just now, and by now the windshield is already out of my car. I would have the technician put it back in, but he broke it when he took it out, so now the car is un-driveable. Just because I called him out on the REALLY SHITTY job by his employees. Was lied to 3 times. First I was told it would be done in hour, it wasn't and I couldn't wait any longer. Second, his employee told she would " take care of me" which anybody knows that means discount. That wasn't done. So, second lie. And third, the owner himself lied to me when he told me he was the supervisor. The window still isn't fixed properly, there's still glass in my car. Just please please please do not give this POS any business. The owner is VERY UNSTABLE AND HAS SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUES. If you get work done and complain, who knows, next time he might not just threaten someone. He might actually follow through on his threats. The owner will probably respond by saying I'm cheap or whatever. He'll also try to say they did nothing wrong, but they did. He is a child who can't accept responsibility for his employees actions. My first trip was to replace my cracked windshield. I made an appointment and it was taken care of quickly and easily. When I had a leak near my rearview mirror I called thinking maybe it was a windshield issue and they told me to bring my car in because they stand by their work. When I came in they quickly took my car in saying they believed it was actually the sun roof. They had my car for about 10 minutes and brought it back to me with the issue resolved. First of all, I had Googled auto glass specialists, the guys in the little red truck. These yahoos popped up, listing themselves as the aforementioned company when they in fact have no relationship with the company I wanted. I had an a.m.appointment. they showed up after noon. Their technician then proceeded to complain about someone removing items from his truck using more profanity than used in the movie Deadpool! Every third word was an f bomb! It was completely unprofessional! He needed to remove an after market part from my truck, then refused to put it back on. After I called to complain, they told me they could come out to put it back on. ..if I paid for another service call. I am so dissatisfied that I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, the department of agriculture,trade and consumer protection, and with the federal trademark commission, for trademark violations! this is the biggest JOKE of a business ive EVER had the opportunity to work with. my driver side window fell down and wouldnt roll back up. i called and was quoted $60 to roll it up which would go towards the parts and stuff for fixing it. when they came that day they said they didnt have the part but would put my window up for $40 and order the part....when i came back down to pay them when they finished they said it would be $60 since thats what i was quoted. then when i ordered the part i needed they didnt take the $60 off, but okay fine.. i needed my window fixed and they came to my house to do it.. so i ordered it and they set a time to come back to fix my window... well they called me to come down and they said that they missed a part they needed and it was free and theyd find it for me and come back the next week (they were at my house on a thursday) THAT WAS TWO THURSDAYS AGO... ITS NOW SATURDAY. i have been waiting for over 2 weeks to get this fixed. i keep calling and keep getting told ill get a call back and then NOT getting called back. On Thursday when i called they said theyd have it done yesterday or today and that they'd call me yesterday.. NEVER CALLED. i called today and they said theyd call back.. they did and then told me that the guys didnt have the part with them cause they didnt know they were coming today......and he promised theyd do it monday. i will NEVER get work done by them again. they misquoted me and ive been waiting for nearly a month to have this window fixed. go to a real business, pay a little more to have timely PROFESSIONAL work done. read more
