I had my windshield replaced here and they pinched the hose of my wiper fluid so that they didn't work and gave me a windshield that had a huge scratch on it. They knew about the scratch because it also had grinder marks all over it from where they tried to hide the scratch. Shoddy workmanship and dishonest trying to pass off a flawed window as new. read more

They contacted the insurance company for me, so it was all hassle-free! The customer service in the store was outstanding! The man helping us was attentive, and always asked if we had any questions. Shoddy Work and Poor Customer Service. Took our 2008 Enclave in for a windshield replacement. We live a couple miles outside their service area so they wouldn't provide mobile service. Windshield was replaced and now its leaking big time. Called them and asked that they send someone out to fix their mistake. Again they refused to travel a couple extra miles to fix an issue they caused! I will never use this shop again! read more

Horrible service. I had an appointment scheduled several weeks ahead to replace the windshield of my van. They decided to wait until 2 days before my appointment to call me up and tell me that they refuse to do my windshield, and have not done them on my model van for several years in the entire state of Oregon. ummm... HELLO?! Why is this not listed on the website, and why wait THREE WEEKS to tell me? Thanks for a huge waste of my time for literally NOTHING. If I could give this zero stars I would. read more

I had a mysterious crazy back window break that I was completely freaked out about. Safelite was able to to fix it at my home the next day. The technician cleaned up the mess as well as exactly replaced the back window on my vehicle with the correct make model and features. I didn't have to stay home from work either. read more

Had a crack in my windshield. Decided to replace it completely. Heard Safelite was a good company to go through. I WAS WRONG. Nothing but headaches with these guys. They never return my calls, I always have to call them. They've been out twice now and didn't have the right molding for my windshield. It's been a month now and I still haven't got my windshield replaced. Use another company! read more

If it could be zero stars that would be more appropriate. They came to my house. There was a chip in the windshield. They refused to fix it, said it was "nothing". Of course it got bigger. We called someone else who only fixes, does not replace windshields. They fixed it without an argument and without a fuss. It's perfect now. I believe this Safelite is dishonest. If you need a windshield repaired, look elsewhere for an honest opinion. I can't say how they are if you need your windshield replaced. read more

I have had nothing but trouble with safelite autoglass of Portland, the first appointment they called and cancelled because they didn't have the glass, the second one I took a day off work to go to the shop waited 45 minutes and they came out and said the glass they had was damaged. I rescheduled another appointment that they didn't even show up for or call. Every person I have talked too has another excuse,. I definitely will find a better place to do business with since it's been a month now and I'm still waiting for the repair to happen. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. I had an appointment at 12:30pm. I came home in the middle of running errands so I would be at my house when they showed up to fix my window. They did not show up until 4:45pm nor did they call. I had to call them around 2:30pm and ask where they were and they said they're really behind and would be there in 45 minutes. When the guy finally showed up and wasted my whole day waiting for him he then stood on my door frame to reach the window which got dirty footprints all over that he never cleaned (get ladder or step stool) and he also left dirt, dust, and dead bugs all over my dashboard that was never cleaned off and mind you, my car was just cleaned so it was spotless. When he was done the pieces of plastic and rubber around the window were not laying flat on the window and I asked why and his response was "that's just cheap plastic".. Well no, because it wasn't doing that before. Fast forward to a week later, my window cracks on the edge going horizontal. I called and left a message that my window was cracked and I would like the warranty to cover it and never got a call back. I went into the store later after the crack had went from three inches to 2 feet long and was told there's nothing they can do about it. SUPER cheap glass and horrible service. Will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more
