I had to replace my windshield due to a crack caused by the Blizzard of 2025. The office manager was professional and kept me updated throughout the entire work order process. Unfortunately, the replacement glass that was ordered arrived damaged, but he immediately contacted me and rescheduled my appointment. The day before my new appointment, he called to let me know that rain was expected and suggested that I bring my car into the shop so the windshield replacement could be completed without delay. I truly appreciated his proactive approach, communication, and the effort he made to keep everything on track. He demonstrated excellent customer service skills. The technician was also friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He explained that he had recalibrated the advanced safety system after the windshield replacement, which gave me confidence that the work was completed properly. The only area for improvement is the parking lot, which has several potholes. I would recommend contacting the landlord to address repaving the lot. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend this shop. read more

I would have selected zero stars if that was an option. My recently registered car was on Day 6 of the 7 days allowed to get vehicle inspected, so I went to Safelite in advance to obtain a written proposal. It was approx $150 greater than the verbal I had received 60 days ago but I was out of time so I proceeded. I dropped off my car the day before for windshield replacement to provide them with plenty of time and all of the resources available at the shop vs mobile installation. The car was returned to me at closing on the following day with a broken rain sensor cover. The "technician" had attempted to "stick" it back in place with a black sealant but I found it on the floor of the car. I am purchasing a new cover for $15 and will install myself. The "tech" also installed windshield wipers backwards - left on right and right on left. This resulted in driver side being in direct contact with the recently restored plastic cowl, which is now scraped. Clearly the "tech" bolted on the wiper arms but never turned them on to ensure that they were adjusted correctly. I also had difficulty paying since the credit card numbers on my credit card were worn off. The fact that the Safelite system requires keypunching of numbers by a person into its payment system is reminiscent of the Stone Age. Today's credit cards have smart ships and mag stripes for a reason! When questioned regarding this archaic payment method the manager suggested that I should be more frustrated with my credit card company than Safelite?!? Lastly, the "Customer Advocate" at the front desk seems overwhelmed and incapable of handling the job. I will never go to Safelite again. It seems the company has grown too quickly through acquisitions and is unable to hire sufficiently qualified staff or train them successfully. read more

did an amazing job fixing the windshield on my mustang, super quick, everyone i interacted with was nice. i accidentally left a sticker and a flower on my dashboard and the person who worked on my car placed them both out of the way so they wouldn't get damaged or thrown away. thank you! read more

Had my windshield replaced and they test drove the vehicle afterwards. Somehow they missed the loud rattle coming from right over the steering wheel. 2nd tech came, he was more thorough but told me the replacement glass was scratched so he couldn't fix it. Warranty appt scheduled at different Safelite shop bc my car would be at home - service just as bad. read more

Installed windshield and did not put the wipers on correctly and half of my clips to my under hood covers are missing!! This is probably the worst place to get a replacement! The floor boards were all dirty and stepped on, at least wipe it off? It takes 5 seconds? Poor workmanship! What a shame!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible! read more

They INSIST on every possible personal detail before they will do ANYTHING, then when they entered all that personal data on an insecure Internet WEB portal, they told me they couldn't help me with my glass service. When asked to remove all my personal information - they said they couldn't do that - company policy ! ? ! read more

I had scheduled an appointment with Safelite in Marlboro for a windshield replacement between 8-12 at my home. I was told when I made the appointment their technicians are "highly trained and equipped" to handle the recalibration of the forward camera and safety systems that mount to the windshield of my Silverado. The DAY OF my appointment I get a call from the tech. Here I am thinking he is calling to say he is on the way and give me an ETA. Nope!!! He calls and tells me his laptop has not been updated to do the calibrations on my truck!! I was told I needed to take it to the shop where they could do both. Having taken the day off from work to do this repair, I drove all the way to the Marlboro location to be told they can't do it until 1:30 in the afternoon, to come back later! Nope! Sorry, you blew it 2 times in the same day. If this is the quality and detail of their work, I don't want them touching my new truck! Take that under consideration before using Safelite to do work on your vehicle! read more

first tried to get my windshield repaired by Safelite in Acton, which was a separate nightmare. The Marlborough "technician" arrived at my home and after 3 hours told me the job was done.  The windshield was mounted low so that the upper moulding didn't contact the roof.  It was also 1/2" right, so it contacted the A pillar on the passenger side was was barely sitting on the seal on the driver's side.  Also, glue EVERYWHERE. After complaining to corporate, the shop agreed to have a "master technician" install it. The "Master Technician" couldn't figure out how to get the lower cowl installed (the trim under the windshield) so he cut the locating tabs off.  This meant that the cowl no longer connected to the trim on its left and right.  They also managed to snap off some of the plastic tabs which hold the cowl in place and omitted reinstalling mounting screws. All this meant that the cowl was held in place by two small screws and the windshield wiper arms. The amount of time wasted trying to get this done (5 appointments, 3 of which were canceled and 2 which resulted in an incorrectly installed windshield), the frustration, the hours spent on the phone, and I ended up having the windshield installed by an independent body shop. If your insurance company refers you to them, demand someone else. read more

I realize that staff is short, however my windshield needs to be replaced they came out and it was the incorrect glass. We scheduled my appointment last Tuesday and they cancelled because of the weather, and rebooked for 2/15/2022 Still waiting with no communication at all, so I called and the gentleman said the techs should be here at around 3:30-4 still nothing! Meanwhile I am on the phone with a ring no pick up- My inspection sticker is also rejected. I am very upset. NEVER will I recommend this company, and will let my insurance company know! read more

Tech never texted he was coming. He was supposed to direct bill insurance and showed up asking for a check. He left without completing the work and then did not show up again. You can't even call them to find out where the tech is. I made a appointment and received a quote of 279.00 the guy took my cc #and told me to drop it off at 2pm the on Wednesday. I didn't get a confirmation call on Tuesday so I called. I call the same number I call the first time and the price changed from 279.00 to 336.00 and it was at a different location. They don't even have a location in leominster they made it for Acton Ma . I brought my car in with a broken window. I have a convertible, so it's not the easiest job for them. I have never received better service from an auto repair shop in my life. Brooke was my point of contact and she was amazing! Very communicative, responsive, understanding, and helpful! I wasn't able to go through insurance and had to pay out of pocket. She worked with me on the final bill and was trying to help me in any way she could. The techs finished the job way sooner than I expected and my window is now in perfect condition. They scheduled my appointment 9 days away at one location, then the night before the appointment they changed it to a completely different location that would have required multiple extra hours of driving. Customer service at the Marlborough location is awesome. Brooke was my customer support representative and she was so helpful. She helped me process the windshield replacement through my insurance and saved me over $500 In out of pocket expense. After the replacement there was a minor issue with the wiper not working and she immediately sent a service tech to fix.. literally within 10 minutes they arrived. I came to get my windshield replaced and had the good luck to work with a great tech, Ryan. He finished my new windshield - and wiped down my dash - in less than an hour! I was really impressed with the customer service. This isn't a fancy waiting room, but there is free coffee and hot chocolate. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Marlborough MA provided the worst experience ever, send girl out to repair our windshield, she said she didn't have time and left, next day when I called they sent same tech back out this time when she left and said it was fixed. no filler was ever added. took to Acton the next day and they verified that the work was never performed because no filler was used. 7 phone calls later still trying to get my refund for the fraudulent work in Marlborough. read more
