If you purchase tires like I did at America's Tire or also known as Discount Tire out side of California, you get free rotation and rebalancing for the life of the tires. Free flat repair as well! I rotate every 7000 miles or so. It does actually even out the tread wear, so you'll get more life out of the tires. Making the appointment was easy and as long as you can plan ahead a little, you can get the time of the day you want too. I just brought my car in at the appointed time and they took me in right away. They first come out to the car and check the tread wear and mileage and stuff. The waiting room is clean and has good places to sit and wait. The WIFI works fine for web browsing and email, but really not fast enough to stream movies or anything like that. I like to sit and write my Yelp reviews while I wait. I watch my car taken into the service bay and two guys go to work on it, almost like a NASCAR pit stop. Up goes the car and bam bam bam, off go the wheels and rolled over to the balancing machine. When the tire techs finish balancing and re bolting on the wheels, they do the final tightening with a torque wrench instead of like a lot of places just blast on the bolts with the air wrench, zap zap zap and done. Using the torque wrench they make sure it's not over tightened, especially if you have to change a tire in an emergency out on the road and it too damn tight! I'm in and out in about 45 minutes, all balanced and rotated for FREE! You can go to any store location no matter which location you purchased your tires. You can't beat that deal!

As I talked, I made mention of the fact that my great uncle had started a roofing company years ago. And that if I was not mistaken, they were the first local company to acquire a commercial license up here in the North State. I saw this guy kind of freeze. And he...He stopped writing, then slowly turned and said, Tri-Counties Roofing? I said YES! He said, did any of your uncles (his two brothers both worked for him) mention a guy named "RED" and I said, well yeah! They all talked about Red all the time! He said, "That was my grandfather, he was your uncles partner" I about fell over dead! Well we had a chat for sure after that. He made mention of their silent partner, none other than Doc Cleary. And how many informal "business meetings and decisions were made over a drink at "Doc's Skyroom" on Hilltop back in the day. Needless to say, my uncle was a stickler for doing the job right. They quickly got here and put plastic to cover the house, but we had to run fans for two weeks in the attic to dry it out and had to repaint much of the house. Now 15 years later our 40 year guaranteed roof is leaking and they are claiming to not have been the ones who put it on. I'm guessing they got rid of our paperwork in case black mold or other issues arose due to the water getting in. Be very very careful when dealing with this company.
