The guys at Safelite were awesome and their service was unsurpassed. They got me in, installed the windshield while I waited in the lobby, and sent me on my way with a freshly vacuumed car, clean windows all the way around, and several good laughs in between. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone needing glass replaced. Thank you!! Noticing the bad review here... changing a windshield isn't like getting a haircut and it takes some planning. A shop can only change so many windshields in a day and when you are booked out thats it... plus you have to make sure they even have your windshield in the first place. Horrible! I had a chip that ran in my Ford Explorer windshield. I was told that it is one of the more expensive windshields to replace as you also have to replace the pillar posts along side the windshields exterior. I paid for it as my deductible was more than paying cash to have it done. The pillar posts are on recall but Ford does not have a fix for them. Anyway, I don't drive that car much so Safelite mobile repair came and did the repair and installed the wrong pillar posts which they informed me of and said they would be back the following day with the correct ones. Approx 3 weeks after the repair, I drove the car and noticed a crack in the wiper housing. It was cracked and torn. Upon further investigation I noticed the windshield was cracked under the new pillar post and was starting to run. I called safelite to report the problem and was told to bring it in so they could look at it. I made the appointment and took the car in. An installer looked at it and informed me that they would not repair it as it looked like I got another rock chip. I told them that was impossible as the car has been sitting as I drive my truck and not the car most of the time. He said that the damage was not in the pictures the mobile team had sent over after the work was done. Duh! I would have been surprised they would send pictures of damage that was caused by them. I was super mad and they sent the manager in to take a look. The manager looked at the damage and agreed it was not a rock chip and said they would replace the windshield but not the housing. Long story short. They replaced the windshield with a windshield that has speckles in the glass right in my line of site. Defective glass. Not just a few speckles, pretty long lines right in my view. I will be filling a complaint with the State Attorney General. I will never recommend or do business with them again! This should have been easy. In my lifetime I have never had so much trouble getting my windshield fixed. Horrible service. I even paid the upcharge for their supposed lifetime guarantee. What does that even mean? We had a small rock chip in a motorhome windshield that I didn't want to get worse. Called the Twin Falls Safelite repair shop and they didn't have many options. They didn't have any mobile techs that could come to me and explained their shop are was too small for a motorhome. Also they didn't have the right equipment to work on a motorhome. Hummm. It's just a windshield. I don't believe they spoke the truth. If the office was busy and didn't want to do mobile service they should have been honest instead of deflecting that the work was not possible. Bad business. read more

2 to 3 hours to replace a windshield. I'm glad I had an appointment Allstate recommended this place. Never again people came in after me and are gone. Customers standing in the office waiting and they got bored and left. No customer service. An hour and 1/2. Haven't touched my car. The guy walked into the office looked at me and walked out. A man and woman from California just walked in they pulled the car in and are working on it now. I'm still sitting have not touched mine yet California people are gone no charge. If I could leave a zero I would. I have used these folks for many of my cars. This is the last time I will ever try em. I ordered a windshield for my car, was scheduled two weeks out for instal. That's all fine. I understand that. The problem is the kid who came out to do the install never showed up. Had a 8 am to noon apt. I reworked my schedule for this. After talking to the tech at 715 am he said he would be here around 10. Well 12 no show. I called no answer. Then he sends me a text asking if I just want to reschedule.. I said no. If he can make it by 230 it can re arrange my afternoon schedule. He shows up. Says he can't do it because it looks like it might rain. I asked if he can do it in the garage. He was coming up with every excuse not to put it in.. I've never had Anyone so lazy and not want to work . Ever. My advice to anyone else who needs glass repair. Go somewhere else. First, let me say that Safelite's availability and willingness to replace wind shields in various locations is greatly appreciated. That being said, my issue is with product quality. I just put in the 4th Safelite wind shield in our Toyota Sienna over the past 3 years. (And yes, I do have a safe driving record.) This newest wind shield lasted exactly 22 days before it cracked. I am convinced that Safelite uses cheap, poor quality glass. I can't keep replacing wind shields; four wind shields over three years has already resulted in my insurance rates going up and now I need a 5th wind shield. I won't be going back to Safelite...while they are consistently the lowest price, I believe they are sacrificing quality. read more

I highly recommend this place. They will come to you, but I was going to be in the area so I dropped my vehicle off at the shop. A couple of hours later my windshield was replaced, they had washed all the windows, AND vacuumed the floor boards! What a pleasant experience! I am on an RV vacation from Florida and obtained a crack in my tow vehicle windshield. I got a 1300 time slot for repair but called the morning of my appointment to see if I could take it in earlier. Olivia the front desk manager couldn't have been nicer! She was able to work me in earlier which allowed me to get back on the road earlier. The service technician was extremely thorough and skilled. He showed me how the Florida sun had damaged the windshield trim and warned that removal during windshield replacement may result in fracture. His skill resulted in damage free removal! These guys are awesome. When they finished up replacing my windshield they apologized for the wait being longer than normal which I did not even notice and then they gave me free new wiper blades because of the wait. When I left I checked the clock and the additional wait time they felt so bad about was less than 20 minutes. They also gave me free glass cleaner and vacuumed the inside of my car (which I can't help but wonder if that's the reason it even took 20 minutes longer because my car was a messy disaster) I'm pretty sure they dusted my dashboard too because that's also much cleaner now. We just had our front windshield replaced at Safelite AutoGlass in Phoenix and in less than 48 hours on our drive home to Seattle, we were hit with a rock right in the driver's side. Much to our disappointment, we researched a local Safelite AutoGlass business, and was able to get the chip repaired in less than an hour. Curt, the technician took great care of us and did an excellent job. His friendly and professional care was excellent and our window repair looks fantastic. They damaged the weatherstripping because they did not remove the windshield properly and then they said because of the problems they refund my deductible of $50 which they never did they tried to hide the damage with black silicone and then they denied they did the damage I will never use them again read more

Traveling Highway 93, loose gravel and 18 wheelers who still insisted on going 70 miles an hour gave us three chips in the windshield of our RV on the way to Yellowstone. Safelite was the only shop open on a Saturday. Josh gave us superb service above and beyond anything we could have expected. He fixed all three chips in record time and got us back on the road. These are honestly some of the nicest people I have met in Twin Falls. Curt and Amanda were fantastic and completed my windshield replacement very quickly. The initial replacement windshield happened to be cracked when they got it down from the rack so I had to come back the next day for a new one. They really went the extra mile on rescheduling a good new appointment time and gave me a really nice discount for the inconvenience. These people know customer service! Took a road trip to visits with family in Idaho. On the way up, a small rock from a truck hit the windshield and left a small chip. Not wanting it to get worse or spider out, looked up places to get it repaired. I found Safelite on google (#1 search result), and thought, well here is a huge company, they should be able to get me taken care of. Looked up the website, and it states, if you come in before 2 pm, we will get you fixed and on your way (windshield chips). Earlier I made my way there and went in. A gentlemen came to the counter and asked what he could help me with. I told him, and his response was, do you have an appointment? I told him no, and explained the company's website said I didn't need one if I came in before 2. With a look of aggravation and disgust, he said it would be at least an hour before they could help me. I left and went next door to Gary's Windshield repair.
