Convinient but check out lines can get very slow- long lines and few register open. Cheaper than QFC for certain items.

I'm picky about my preferred brands! Prices are always good, if you apply for their discount card you can get even further discounts. The clerks are friendly, the store is easy to shop, not crammed with stuff like the one across the street and it's right on coal creek pkwy. So easy to stop there on your way home from work.

I did a one-star review of several QFCs in my area because of my experience today with digital…read morecoupons. The QFC staff are all great, and I like QFC products including produce, meat and seafood, and deli (Boars Head). I like QFC brands including private selection. My issue is with digital coupons. Today I went shopping and I purchased 45 items. 30 items had a digital coupon meaning most items had one. Each item with a digital coupon required 7 clicks on my phone to clip the digital coupon. This means I swiped and clicked and scanned my phone 210 times to purchase my groceries. Mind you, most of the products with digital coupons were QFC brands (Kroger, Private Selection, etc.). I came prepared with a grocery list, I shopped efficiently, and it still took over an hour to do my shopping. I spent a significant amount of my time clicking and swiping digital coupons. Next, I had to checkout. My local QFC does not have checkers, so I am now required to scan every item, and bag it. I scanned most of these items once, and now I am scanning the same items a second time. I buy a good deal of produce which takes extra time because unlike a checker, I haven't memorized all the produce codes. Checking out takes about 20 minutes and I am efficient and moving as fast as I can. I've now scanned about 40 items and clicked the screen to ring up my produce another 30 times. About an hour and a half later, I'm leaving the store. I've clicked on a digital device about 250 times in total. By the time I factor in the time to drive to and from the store, a simple shopping trip took me 2 hours. I asked the QFC employee, "why would QFC corporate decision makers possibly want to create such a terrible experience for me?". It was an honest question. The QFC employee was nice, and explained the benefits of the app. Although the benefits of the app may be relevant to someone, they are not relevant to me. I spend thousands of dollars at QFC every year. I've shopped at QFC, almost exclusively, for dozens of years. It's shocking to think how much money I have spent at QFC. Why would QFC reward my patronage by making me click a device hundreds of times every time I go shopping, on top of making me ring up and bag my own groceries. I'm sure somewhere there is someone in a QFC corporate office behind this experience, claiming victory for all of this. QFC corporate person, if you are reading this review, I want you to know that you are an idiot that is out of touch with the experience your customers are having in your stores, or you are fully aware of their experience and that makes you a jerk. Someone is reading this review and saying to me, "why aren't you just shopping at Costco?" To you I say, "touché"

I especially love the meat department. The selection is fantastic, everything looks fresh, and it's one of the main reasons I keep coming back to this location. A special shoutout to Evan in the meat department! Every time I run into him, he's incredibly kind, approachable, and happy to answer questions or help however he can. One feature I greatly appreciate is the Amazon return counter. Being able to return a package and then immediately grab my groceries in the same trip is such a time saver! It's such a simple convenience, but it's made this location even more of a go to for me. Friendly employees, excellent selection, and thoughtful extras that make errands just a little easier. Definitely one of my favorite Whole Foods locations!

So no problems there. But since we were here, decided to get something I've been wanting for a while. On a visit to a Miami's Whole Foods, noticed that they sell Golden Osetra Caviar from TSAR NICOULAI ($94.99 for an ounce). Like some other sale items, there is more of a discount if Prime member, so got the item for $76.99. In the same area, there are caviar accompaniments like blinis and creme fraiche, so got some of that too. Self checkout was easy: able to use the Amazon app to generate a barcode for my account, and was able to use the Amazon credit card to pay for it. The receipt was sent directly via email, but printing is possible as well. Well...the caviar ended up being not good even though the expiration date was in May (2 months out): mushy and tasted a bit like mud. My daughter and I looked online to see if that was what it was supposed to taste like, and decided that it was not...something in the supply chain had ruined it. Returning it the same day was hassle-free, with the employee just asking the reason for the return, and returning the amount back to my credit card. Don't do food returns much, so wanted to give props to Whole Foods for making it easy for a valid reason.

While shopping for groceries and enjoying a coffee with my friend Jane at the store, I politely asked for a cup of water. To my surprise, I was told -rather curtly- that water is only available for purchase. This was unexpected, especially since during a previous visit, I had been offered water with my coffee without any issue. When I expressed my confusion, the staff member (a woman of Far East origin) continued to be dismissive and rude. I found the interaction unnecessarily abrasive and not at all in keeping with the welcoming environment I had experienced before. Another Google review also describes a similarly combative attitude, perhaps from the same individual. If she remains on staff, it could seriously impact the business's reputation. I'll be steering clear of this location." It's unfortunate that a thoughtful concept--one that Stephanie clearly put care and intention into--is being undermined by poor customer service. Experiences like this can have a lasting impact on customer loyalty. It felt as though the staff member would have rather been anywhere else--and unfortunately, that lack of enthusiasm came through in the way she treated paying customers. I support sharing this feedback, especially since Stephanie--the owner--isn't likely to witness these interactions firsthand. Multiple honest reviews about the staff may help paint a more accurate picture of the experience customers are having. On a more positive note, my friend's sons really enjoyed everything she picked up from the store. She sliced up some cold roast beef and sautéed it with green beans and Stephanie's stir-fry sauce - it turned out great. Stephanie's concept of providing curated meal shortcuts really worked for them!pre

Staff is very helpful if you're looking for something. It's a mountain town grocery store - don't expect a giant Whole Foods and you'll be good. My aunt (44) and uncle were using the self-checkout and bought a case of beer. Instead of simply checking the ID of the person purchasing the alcohol, the employee demanded to see the ID of everyone standing anywhere nearby. My aunt, who is clearly well over 21, was forced to show ID even though she wasn't the one paying. Then my sister (24) and her boyfriend (32) were also told they had to show ID just for standing nearby. They actually had to walk all the way back outside to their vehicle just to grab their IDs to satisfy this ridiculous demand. The part that really pushed things over the edge is that my sister's boyfriend is a U.S. veteran who was injured while serving our country. It's incredibly ironic that someone can be 18 years old and old enough to enlist, risk their life, and serve the United States, but this same person gets treated like a criminal and harassed in a grocery store just to prove they're over 21 while standing next to family members buying groceries. And somehow the situation still got more ridiculous. I was standing by the doorway waiting for my family and I was also asked for ID, despite not even being part of the transaction. Every single person involved was clearly and obviously over 21. This didn't feel like someone responsibly following policy. It felt like a teller on a complete power trip who decided to make things difficult for absolutely no reason. I've worked in customer service and hospitality for over 8 years, including time in a grocery store, so I understand alcohol laws and regulations. Verifying the purchaser's age is standard practice. But demanding ID from every adult in the general vicinity, even someone standing by the door, is beyond excessive and completely unnecessary. The irony is we walked across the street to the gas station afterward and had zero issues. Blanton's managed to turn a simple grocery stop into an unnecessarily hostile experience. If this is how management chooses to treat customers, don't be surprised when people take their business elsewhere.
