Huge honey crisp and Fuji apples here! Delicious!

AFSANEH is my favorite florist! I've come here multiple times because she always helps me create the loveliest bouquets and the most unique gifts for every special occasion. She puts so much care, creativity, and attention to detail into everything she makes. She's created multiple beautiful arrangements for me over the years, including a gorgeous housewarming basket and a stunning balloon bouquet. Safeway is incredibly lucky to have someone as kind, talented, and hardworking as Afsaneh. She truly is a rare gem, and I always look forward to seeing what she creates!

This is my local Safeway! It has a large parking lot so that shouldn't be an issue. However be warned that the turns are tight, the parking spaces are small, and there are always a ton of people crossing the streets. This Safeway also has a gas station that happens to have the cheapest gas in North Natomas most of the time. There are many restaurants and other businesses in this shopping center. I love the prices here compared to nearby Raleys or Sprouts but they too have been increasing their prices... There is a Starbucks inside and a small credit union. The lines here are always ridiculously long and seem to only have 1 lane open. The self check out is always long. The floors seem to be dirty almost every time. Also, I don't think I've ever came here where they wasn't someone outside trying to get me to buy or sign something. There are many homeless outside at night too. Bottom line/TLDR: beware of the lines and parking lot fiasco.

Todays drop in was one that I was definitely a surprise! I have not shopped at Safeway in over Three years. Because of the service. However, today was extremely different. I received a tailored customer service with the floral department and a super helpful young lady by the name of Isabel made the experience awesome. I get to take small arrangements to my sister to brighten her day!!!! Great ambiance! She also, assisted me with downloading the app. Tania was amazing!!!

    DUBAI CHOCOLATE CAKE SQUARE $5.99

WOOOOOOOOW JUST SO DAMN GOOD! I wasn't expecting this at all. I thought it would be food coloring creating that thin layer of pistachio, that the cake would be dry, that it would be off putting BUT HOT DAMN THIS IS LEGIT!!! Please don't increase the prices. Keep this recipe for ever and ever and ever!!! So moist, so pistachioeeyyy, the katayif is on point.

How the cake I ordered delivered to me - with the toppings slid off to the side.

I just pretend like pickup doesn't exist here because I had issues with it everytime I used it. From long wait times to switching half of my order with someone else's. In addition to that, not only have they locked up all toiletry and OTC items, but you can't even put them in your cart anymore once someone finally opens the locked cabinet for you. Instead, you have to wait until you checkout and ask for assistance for someone to retrieve your items for you from the front. What a rigamarole for a place that doesn't even check receipts when you exit! They're concerned about bars of soap and toothpaste in locked cabinets yet someone could walk out with a cart full of items because they don't check receipts upon exit. Also, there are always people outside asking for donations or you to buy something (non-Safeway related). The carts are frequently unavailable at the entrance. Their gas is more expensive than costcos even with their savings available.

The employee smoking in front of the carts right outside the door.

It's huge, and it's fun. You pick the bread, you pick the veggies, you pick the condiments, they pick the meat. I can never finish a whole sandwich, I can only get through half at a time .. My favorite deli in San Francisco before they closed, was "Panelli Brothers, and they sold what was called, a "Panelli whatever.". Same concept. The special takes me right back to that. I truly hope the Sac Food Co‑op sees this review and has a conversation about how important nonverbal communication can be. Adj: Small but Mighty little Grocery Outlet…read more Still a good one, an oldie but a goodie. We've been coming here for over a decade, and it's still a consistently good GO. For a more pricey part of town since it's in midtown, just on the edge of downtown really, this GO has stayed reasonable in all it offers. It's located at 1700 Capitol Ave not far from the east side of Capitol Park a few blocks from the Capitol Rose Garden. This GO is right across 17th St from the East End Complex buildings with offices for the CA Dept of Public Health and CA Dept of Health Care Services. Out front there were still some herbs and spring seasonal plants on sale, although only 1 rack of them left, since it's already kind of late in the planting season. This is a smaller store, given how expensive real estate is in downtown, but the owners have really packed it all in. Every section has most everything other bigger Grocery Outlet stores carry, except maybe not as many of any given item, but overall, I see that most things I'm looking for and buy regularly at my neighborhood GO is still available here. You've got your fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, dairy (milk and yogurt), sundries, pantry staples like cans and dry pasta, seasoning (sauces and spices), freezer items (frozen veg, meats and heat-and-eat meals), and beers & wines all available here with great variety. As you enter the store there's a super convenient grab-n-go deli cold case section for quick ready-to-eat lunches which is super helpful for office workers who might be just looking to get something very quickly for lunch without breaking the bank. You can get a salad kit, a ready-made sandwich, pre-cut fruits, some cheeses, or a deli salad in this section. There's also a small floral section right near here so if you were looking for a gift to give to a coworker/boss/friend/your significant other, you can very easily and quickly find a nice potted plant or a small bouquet and be on your way. It's definitely not a full-service floral dept, but there's a good assortment of plants and flowers to choose from and some of were even tropical plants that looked pretty unique! Next there's the health & beauty section next, and it's pretty comprehensive. Next is the produce section and it's smaller than a suburban GO, but it's still got a little bit of most kinds of veggies and fruits you'd be looking for, and if you're ok with a different brand of salad than your go-to brand, you'd definitely find some here, so the key is flexibility while shopping at GO. Then there's the meat dept next to the produce section, it is smaller, but still a good sized display case filled with meats of all kinds, and next to that are the dairy cold cases where I saw some pretty nice brands of creamers such as Califia coconut creamer and Nutpods creamer, both priced so much lower than regular grocery stores, I'll add pics of those. My fav section is the snacks area. I found some snacks here that have been out of stock at 2 other GO's I visited looking for them, so I stocked up and bought a bunch so I won't run out! So thankful that they had them in stock! The rest of the store is laid out and stocked with pretty much the same items as other bigger GO's. You've got your dairy, frozen, pantry staples, and wine sections in addition to the other departments I already mentioned, and everything looked pretty well organized and quite easy to find. One thing is that the aisles here are closer together probably so they can save space and maximize their shelves to provide as much wonderful grocery items to their customers as they can. Check out was quite easy and the cashier was friendly and quick. Thank you Midtown GO and we hope you will keep on keeping us well-fed at affordable prices. I'll definitely be back to restock when I run low on my essentials and to look for new and exciting items at my favorite "bargain market"!

Headquartered in Davis, CA dating back to 1926, they have been more of an upscale supermarket experience by offering top-notch customer service while being a forefront to the community. This includes empowering future generations, fortifying the neighborhoods, cultivating environmental change, and inspiring philanthropy. The location I am focusing on is in the Greenhaven-Pocket area. Located in a fairly sizable outdoor strip mall, this Nugget is located directly on Florin Rd and tucked in between Greenhaven Dr and the CA I-5 highway. As for this location, they have been in operation since around 2005 and been a staple for folks that reside in this area. Since I used to work only a 1/2 mile from this store (for about 3 years), I've frequented it on my lunch break as well as before and after work. The parking situation is shared with several other smaller brick-and-mortar businesses including a Starbucks, Subway, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and much more. The storefront entrance is inviting and welcoming as the entire layout is accommodating while being easy to navigate for customers. I will say that the selection at Nugget is quite possibly the best I have seen in any local grocery store. Here you will find a vast array of produce (regular/organic fruits and veggies), meat/poultry, dairy, frozen foods, and a very impressive variety of beer and wine. However, their deli section which includes all varieties of meats, cheeses, and freshly baked breads is a real winner in my book. The hot and cold foods to go showcase freshly made soups, salads, olives, cold cuts, and meals that you can heat up on your stove or on your BBQ grill. I also wanted to emphasize that the sandwiches here are some of the best I have tried, better than Raley's/Bel Air and much better than what you'd order at a Safeway or Save Mart (all staple supermarkets in Northern California). In addition to the sandwiches, they also offer coffee/tea, fresh juices, açai and Pitaya bowls, smoothies, and much more. I will say that since Nuggets focuses on quality control, much of their food items are significantly higher than the competition. However, just about everything I've purchased here (whether it is pasta, a bottle of wine, or a loaf of bread) has been above average. All in all, the Florin-Greenhaven "Nugget Markets" earn a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Some of the key staple items are quite expensive and don't correlate with my budget. However, the customer service here is top notch while the cleanliness of the store is very well kept. I also wanted to add that the checkout lanes were run very efficiently while making sure every customer is well taken care of. And considering they are open for business 7 days a week from 6am-9pm, you can be assured that they will have what you're looking for.

The store has everything you would expect in a regular Raleys but probably more selection just because the store is so big. I like Raleys produce which is always fresh and often local. The staff are usually friendly and efficient. All in all, Raleys is a solid store.

Raleys is my favorite grocery store because they have great weekly sales, but i don't usually go to…read morethe one on Freeport Blvd. I did today and it was a pretty busy day in the store. Most likely because of the last day of the great 3-day weekend sale. The18-count eggs were $1.99. The lines were long but I was fortunate there were only three people in front of me...so I thought. The longer lines were rolling pretty quickly, but our cashier decided to be pretty chatty with SOME of her guests. The two gentlemen in front of me must have really caught her attention because she started a conversation with them right away, without them initiating it. It took her more than 10 minutes to ring them up because she kept stopping and talking, and I could not believe that she was disregarding the line growing behind me. I thought she'd greet me just as nicely since i greeted her very friendly, but I guess i didn't have the same effect as the gentlemen in front of me. So my rating was more so regarding the inconsistency in customer service.

I stopped by Abel Air on Florin Road to pick up lunch and pick up a few sale items…read more The ready made chinese food is popular at this Bel Air because this store provides both the regular AND skinny noodle chow mein. My timing wasn't very good though because half the entree items were empty (mandarin chicken, teriyaki chicken, etc). The few entrees that were available were dried out so I got the skinny noodle chow mein with two pieces of fried chicken, instead of two entrees for the same price. The chow mein and chicken was dry too, and the skin and outer layer of the chicken was hard to chew through. I have to give them a pass though because I did go at 1:00, the end of the lunch rush, and there were guests visiting the kitchen at the time, and probably not able to cook to refill. While walking through the store to pick up great sale deals, i didn't pick up much, because the sale prices were not updated in front of the items. At first, i questioned whether certain items were even on sale this week. But the few items I picked up actually scanned with the sale price, so I suggest to make a list of those sale items before you go.

And yells go to the left...go to the left! We went to the left and I could not find it so I asked another clerk who was at the self check out and I asked him ( Mark) I would like to purchase a Bel Air gift card and where is that. He was very pleasant and he showed me where it was. I was able to purchase the gift card and was on my way. Thank goodness that you have Mark working for you because the other clerk was ridiculously horrible! But I did not catch the other clerks name but we were in at 6:42 PM Saturday evening!
