Sometimes I get nice, polite cashiers and others complete stone cold and rude. Most of the employees are Caucasian (probably due to the local population). I am a person of Color. Ironically there is one POC employee, a young tall man, I believe is Indian, who played Chicken with me with his large utility cart used for stocking shelves. He blocked me in an aisle where there is room for only one. It was him and his large cart vs. me and my small shopping cart. He pressed forward, forcing me to backup. Employees are rude and unprofessional as I am sure due to unhappy customers all day their moods down by the end of their shifts. I also never want to hear the excuse any business is short staffed.
