Always great. Their bad days is the triads great days. Today was exceptional, had all my favorites. Only thing that could've topped it was mushrooms. Still a must have in the triad, service is attentive and the ambiance is nothing fancy. You go for the food and you'll enjoy their DAILY LUNCH BUFFET. Weekend buffet has free mimosa

Visited Saffron with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. At this time they're offering a buffet for a little under $20. With the buffet comes unlimited self serve mimosas. The food on the bar stayed replenished and kept hot. Carrying vegetarian and meat options, everyone was able to feed their tummies. The dishes we're spicy but they offered spicy condiments if desired. The staff was nice and answered any questions we had about the different dishes. Definitely a place to come try multiple dishes to see what you prefer.

Went here for the first time with friends a while ago and have to say it was amazing! the food was delicious, and even though we came in a bit late the staff was still nice! I do wish that we came in earlier to try out the buffet area.. t__t but it was still a great experience! I would recommend the seafood soup and both assorted dishes ^__^

Saffron Indian Cuisine is so good! I have been here a few times over the last few months and every time it's been amazing. I love the delicious flavors and constantly changing choices. The make your own mimosa is the icing on the cake! The servers are really nice and make sure you have plenty of water. Decor is nice and modern. Perfect place to come for lunch or brunch on the weekend!

This is such a fantastic Indian restaurant. The buffet is small but mighty in flavor. The dishes are seasoned to perfection and has options for both vegetarians and carnivores alike. Today my favorite dishes was the chicken and cabbage. I wasn't expecting it to be spicy but it had a nice kick that wasn't overwhelming but very nice. The unlimited mimosas are always a nice touch! The service is great, they are usually pretty quiet but always have a nice smile for you! The restaurant is small but I've never had a problem finding a seat. It's not noisy and you can have a conversation and be heard. I highly recommend coming for a buffet and trying it out

My parents are vegan and love coming to visit saffron. Especially for their Sunday buffet. There are so many options available for both my parents and others who do or do not eat meat. The savory dishes are packed with flavor, and the occasional spiciness can be overwhelming, but it is still so good! They have these delicious onion blossoms that are a blend of sweet and savory that you should not miss. They also offer bottomless mimosas on sundays, which is a rare treat in greensboro. The owner came by to talk to us and to ensure we had everything we needed. He and the other servers were very attentive and kind. Even though they were very busy, all of our needs were met, including any additional questions my parents asked about vegan options. I highly recommend this restaurant next time you are craving Indian food.

1st time here. Easy service. No buffet for dinner but wide selection of Indian cuisine and spice "levels." I got the Chicken Korma and my wife got the Gobi Tawa Masala (cauliflower dish). Both came with large bowl of Basmati rice. We tried the Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious and we will be back. The restaurant had only a few other patrons (Tuesday night) but was cozy and clean.

Dine in | Dinner | $20-30 Beautiful restaurant; delicious food served, but I was quite disappointed with my visit. Flyers for Saffron Indian Cuisine were being passed out and placed on people vehicles under their windshield wipers throughout the Friendly Center. It caught my interest as it mentioned a buffet- all you can eat. Me and my partner decided to give them a try since. When we arrived we were handed menus and their buffet was closed down. I do understand the unexpected occurs or there may have been a misunderstanding of their flyer but we weren't informed neither way. Since their buffet was my sole reason for visiting, it was disappointing. Nonetheless, we continued to order our dishes. I ordered the mild chicken curry over rice, with a side of Naan bread; my partner ordered the medium spicy curry goat. Unfortunately they were out of lamb that night. It was oh so yummy! We were served piping hot food which is a plus for me. You receive a great portion of protein and the naan bread was huge. I did enjoy the flavors from both of our dishes. During the next visit I would order my curry with medium spice. Have cultural expectations regarding the staff, and be patient; they were great and attentive. Our waters were continuously filled throughout the night, without asking. I also thought the layout of the restaurant was beautiful. Food: 5| Service: 4 | Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Garlic Naan, Curry

Tandoori Mixed Grill with a side of rice and comes with a deep sauce. And adding Garlic Naan.

Looking for anyone whose Vegan to answer this. Has anyone had Vegan dishes here? If so, thoughts?

Everything here is good! The Saag Paneer is excellent! They have a buffet on Saturday and Sunday's, for which you might be able to try different dishes, but I'd call ahead to find out if there are vegetarian dishes on the buffet might be warranted.

Is the restaurant still in business?

We ate there just a couple of weeks ago.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I tried a dish that I had never had before, as well as naan. (Because of course. How do you not get naan?) The spice level was perfect, the flavor was rich and multi-layered, and I left the restaurant full and happy. I intend to visit again the next time I'm down in Greensboro.

I wish I could say that it was worth the wait, but my experience here suggested otherwise. Positives first: Noor is both spacious and stylish with plenty of seating in both the bar and dining areas. Sujan proved to be an attentive and courteous server. That said, the buffet was somewhat underwhelming. It was smaller than those I've found elsewhere in the area. While it offered a solid mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, those offerings were the epitome of playing it safe. Only the hakka noodles (not always an Indian buffet staple) and butter chicken (better than average) really stood out. Nothing else, from the tandoori chicken to the daal to the naan, was prepared poorly, but it was fairly forgettable. Granted, buffet food needs to appeal to a wide range of diners with varying levels of spice tolerance, and so I went in not expecting any heat. Take spiciness out of the equation, however, and the flavors still felt subdued. At least the $20 seemed reasonable for what was offered. It's possible that Noor really shines if you order off the regular menu, and so I wouldn't rule out a return here. The next time I want a weekend lunch buffet, however, I think I'll stick to Taaza.

I ordered the #2 sliders, one Hot and one X-Hot... lol holy smokes the extra heat will light you up. I honestly can't even imagine trying the Reaper level. I also got a large chocolate milkshake and it was amazing -- super creamy and a perfect balance to the spice. The fries were awesome, perfectly seasoned, and surprisingly not too salty at all (which I really appreciated). Service was a little slow, but honestly? That's because everything is made fresh. I'll gladly wait a few extra minutes for hot, fresh food instead of something that's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Overall, 9/10. Great food, bold flavors, and totally worth the visit. Highly recommend!

Service was pretty good, about what we expected; and the atmosphere was as advertised, bright colors, loud music, lots to look at. HOWEVER! if you like sweet with your hot, this chicken is well marinated, fried extra crispy and cooked to perfection. the crinkle cut fries are fantastic, crisp on the outside and still soft inside, dusted with a seasoning that, for those who like sugar, would be great. I highly recommend this place to the right customer, that customer just isn't me.

After looking at the menus for a few places, Shukkranaa seemed worth a gamble. The menu boasts everything you'd expect (curries, biryanis, breads, plenty of vegetarian dishes), and under other circumstances, I'd be all over the chicken 65. However, I wanted to give one of their quick lunch specials a try. Available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions, the offerings change daily, but they include an appetizer, two curries, salad, rice, bread, and a dessert. At $13 veg/$15 non-veg, that seemed like a good deal for the money. I placed an online order for that day's vegetarian special (paneer kadhai and daal makhani), and it was ready when I arrived. Though Shukkranaa's location (a strip mall near a motel up 68) screams "nondescript," the interior seemed more inviting, and the gentleman at the register was polite. After a short drive home, I was able to enjoy a better-than-expected lunch. It came largely as advertised with a pakora as the appetizer, naan as the bread, and a piece of galub jamun as the dessert (though the "salad" was just a few assorted vegetables). The rice was fragrant, the sauces creamy, the portion size more than respectable, and to my relief, Shukkranaa does NOT hold back on flavor. I don't know if the dine-in experience would be as impressive, and there are certainly other Indian eateries to choose from in the immediate area, but for tasty, convenient takeout, count Shuukranaa as a name to remember.
