Delicious and hot Indian food! Super sweet staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Building seemed to be a converted old fast food restaurant, so unassuming from the outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Glad we went!

Let me see, how can I sum it up? Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. Best tikka Masala you can get find anywhere. I usually get chicken tikka but their paneer is so goooooood too! Yum!

I was nervous the entire place was empty going in. I realized it was the time we entered, soon after guest started trickling in. The service was perfect very attentive but not overly attentive. The appetizers were especially delicious I mean I could have eaten several plates. They have several levels of spice for your comfort levels. The entrees were amazing and the portion size were abundant. I have enough leftovers for a couple days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was pretty good not loud we were able to communicate and enjoy ourselves[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don't know what each meal name is but I'm posting photos. This is definitely a must try and a return is needed food was probably some of the best Indian food I've had in awhile.

We really enjoyed the food here! Started off with the samosas .. maybe a little more seasoned would have been good but we enjoyed them with the chutney We ordered chicken 65, which was excellent ! The flavors were delicious! And then extra spicy vindaloo chicken which was served w rice. The color was a little 'fake' - like too much tandoori food coloring but the flavor was delicious We ordered some garlic naan which was delicious too All portions were generous! Def a revisit!!

Agni for me is the best Indian restaurant in the Triad. So much so that I've been here so many times I thought I had already written a review. On our last visit, we had the veg samosas which were big and fresh. At too many Indian restaurants I feel like the samosas were bought at Costco. Not these. The paneer butter Masala was rich and full of flavor, and I had to restrain myself from over-eating naan to sop it up. As with many restaurants these days, you pay dinner pricing ($15 +/-) even at lunch but I never leave Agni disappointed.

Sorry for more lack of pictures. But I did introduce my best friend to Indian food which he has never had. Oh I tried to introduce him to foods that are not old country. He loves this food so much. He likes sushi the best and then this the second. Unfortunately I wasn't able to chew any of the special for two. I paid for the meal and didn't eat. I did dip into chutney and sauces, but that is hardly a meal. Luckily my best friend enjoyed it- I think he had thirds.

Chicken Masala - so much sauce you will want to slowly add the rice to this dish so you can enjoy every saucy bite!

I cannot count the number of times we have enjoyed this place? Whether it is dine in or take out, the food is consistently perfect! The staff is always kind and helpful! I cannot say enough kind things about Agni!!!! Most Sincerely, Dayla

Has the lunch buffet opened back up yet?

It has not opened and the owner has expressed that he probably will not open the buffet back up. He offers the standard menu and you can order a la carte or get a Thali, which gives you a sampling of dishes. The food is amazing and much more fresh…

I'm staying nearby in a hotel. I would like to place an order. I'm thinking I'll get the chicken korma. Does it come with rice or do I have to purchase rice separately?

Good evening sir it comes rice as well. Thank you

What are the hours for lunch buffet?

My last time rolling the dice on a new (for me) Indian eatery ended in disappointment, but I am not…read moreone to be so easily deterred. After looking at the menus for a few places, Shukkranaa seemed worth a gamble. The menu boasts everything you'd expect (curries, biryanis, breads, plenty of vegetarian dishes), and under other circumstances, I'd be all over the chicken 65. However, I wanted to give one of their quick lunch specials a try. Available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions, the offerings change daily, but they include an appetizer, two curries, salad, rice, bread, and a dessert. At $13 veg/$15 non-veg, that seemed like a good deal for the money. I placed an online order for that day's vegetarian special (paneer kadhai and daal makhani), and it was ready when I arrived. Though Shukkranaa's location (a strip mall near a motel up 68) screams "nondescript," the interior seemed more inviting, and the gentleman at the register was polite. After a short drive home, I was able to enjoy a better-than-expected lunch. It came largely as advertised with a pakora as the appetizer, naan as the bread, and a piece of galub jamun as the dessert (though the "salad" was just a few assorted vegetables). The rice was fragrant, the sauces creamy, the portion size more than respectable, and to my relief, Shukkranaa does NOT hold back on flavor. I don't know if the dine-in experience would be as impressive, and there are certainly other Indian eateries to choose from in the immediate area, but for tasty, convenient takeout, count Shuukranaa as a name to remember.

The menu seemed to offer a good variety of Indian dishes, though I am not familiar with most on the menu, so I can not vouch for their authenticity. Playing it safe, I ordered the butter chicken, with no heat. My wife and I also got an order of kulcha bread, stuffed with paneer. The food seemed to take a bit longer than expected for as empty as the restaurant was. When it did come out, my dish and my wife's looked surprisingly similar for having ordered 2 different entrees. I'm not sure that they didn't serve us both the same dish, but she had ordered her's with spice, and what the gave me certainly had spice. Overall, the food was good, though I'm no certain it's what we ordered. When we were done eating, we waited and waited, and again had to flag down the waiter for the bill, but he told us we just pay up front, which would have been nice to know sooner. I could go either way on returning. Service as not overly welcoming, and for ordering something with no spice, i was a bit bothered that they gave me a spicy dish.

Curry 'n Spice is definitely a big contender in the "greater high point area." I started off with the chili mo mo dumplings and these were some of the tastiest, best flavored dumplings I've ever had. Not only was the chili sauce great on the outside, the inside was perfectly flavorful as wells. Usually, one or the other are somewhat lacking but that is not the case at Curry 'n Spice! For my main meal I ordered the chicken tikka masala and you can't go wrong with this pick either. The rice portion was on the smaller end of places that I've been, but by no means was it lacking. The chicken chunks were a bit too big for my taste but the flavor and spice level (I think I went level 4) were enough to put this place in the top 2! Finally, the garlic naan was nice and fluffy with a slight crunch on one side, just how I like it. Full of flavor and has you wanting a second order. I will definitely be back to try those lunch specials!

We had the Chicken Chilli Mo Mos -- savory, flavorful, crispy dumplings in a bold, spicy sauce. It was fantastic! Spice level 4 (out of 10) was enough to pack a light punch while still letting the other flavors shine through. I had Chana Masala at a spice level 6, and it was perfect. Hearty, flavorful, spicy. Great texture on the chickpeas here, and not too oily either.

I am not really sure what spice level they ended up serving me -- they seemed to want to serve me medium, but the spice was completely imperceptible. Definitely not hot as requested. Potentially mild. The food was flavorful, tasty even, but not even a whisper of heat. That was disappointing. To put things in perspective -- I'd say a slice of pepperoni pizza with a few red pepper flakes sprinkled would be spicier. The chana masala was also SUPER oily. I'm not sure if that's normal for them or not -- no matter how many times I stirred it, around 1/4 cup or more of straight oil kept separating out. Beautiful restaurant, clean, quiet, with tasty enough food, but they majorly failed on delivering heat, which is one of the main things I enjoy in Indian food. I am not sure if they typically serve the mildest Indian food on the planet, or if they didn't think I could handle what I ordered, but regardless, I don't see myself choosing to return here.

I wish I could say that it was worth the wait, but my experience here suggested otherwise. Positives first: Noor is both spacious and stylish with plenty of seating in both the bar and dining areas. Sujan proved to be an attentive and courteous server. That said, the buffet was somewhat underwhelming. It was smaller than those I've found elsewhere in the area. While it offered a solid mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, those offerings were the epitome of playing it safe. Only the hakka noodles (not always an Indian buffet staple) and butter chicken (better than average) really stood out. Nothing else, from the tandoori chicken to the daal to the naan, was prepared poorly, but it was fairly forgettable. Granted, buffet food needs to appeal to a wide range of diners with varying levels of spice tolerance, and so I went in not expecting any heat. Take spiciness out of the equation, however, and the flavors still felt subdued. At least the $20 seemed reasonable for what was offered. It's possible that Noor really shines if you order off the regular menu, and so I wouldn't rule out a return here. The next time I want a weekend lunch buffet, however, I think I'll stick to Taaza.

The perfectly cooked soft center, the crisp exterior, and the sticky ssssaaaaauce it's covered in... It's savory and heavy enough to be a meal but I was being generous and decided to share the appetizer with my spouse. They do offer a spice scale and they don't hold back. I foolishly tried the spice level 3 (out of 5 being the hottest) and should have chosen a 2 spice level. But the cauli was so good I fought through the pain. Worth it. I could have easily stopped there but we also ordered the garlic naan (also yessssss) as well as the Lamb Korma and Chicken Vindaloo. Both those entrees were delicious but the Korma really stood out to me. The rich and creamy sauce was very unique to my pallet and when I returned, I ordered the Chicken Korma. Clearly I love a good sauce. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, very spacious and would be great for groups or a romantic dinner for 2 (or 3 if you are into that sort of thing). The service was excellent and our server was patient when we ask questions about the menu. We were seated immediately, and given time/space to look over the menu, but with our server still hovering nearby in case we had questions or were ready quickly. When we ordered, the server explained the 1-5 spice scale, gave recommendations, and even asked about allergies. After the food came out, he continued to check on us. This is definitely not one of those "abandoned in the corner and ignored" type of establishments. We started with an order of chili paneer, with spice level 2. It was perfectly crunchy and super flavorful. Level 2 has a nice kick to it if you sit for a minute between bites, but it doesn't necessarily light you up either. It is a great level if you're sharing something with someone a little more spice-hesitant. I love paneer, and this appetizer had a generous portion that could easily be a meal for 1 person. For my main, I got the Chana masala, spice level 3. This was absolutely delicious! Spicy, warm, flavorful. Chickpeas had the perfect texture -- not too hard nor too mushy. As a spicy food enjoyer, level 3 was a nice level that is hot and ~just~ starts to make my face flush, but isn't overpowering. A "conversational" level if you will. I could easily order this on a work lunch and could still eat with decorum. We also got garlic naan, which is always a hit, but done absolutely perfectly here. Pillowy, soft, fresh, and generous with the garlic.
