Wonderful find in quaint downtown Willoughby! The main thing to know: All hail to Adam, a most skilled and ingenious barkeep! There is an impressive list of tasty libations, but Adam can stir up something delightfully customized. The food menu is fantastic for the veggies out there and a great mix of healthy and delicious food. I had a house salad, which was fresh and as expected, but the Thai dye bowl was a real standout! We also liked the peace love & munchies appetizer plate. Lovely outdoor patio and service was pleasant & quick

Top tier service! Drinks and the food were amazing they had lights everywhere most definitely got the extra brownie points from my date for the ambiance. Thanks Sol for showing us a great time! Will definitely be back for those tacos

This is one of the only places you can go to get clean, wholesome food. They have wildcat salmon and mine was cooked an extra-virgin olive oil cooked to medium-rare perfection. I got the side salad with vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil. Her server, Flynn, was outstanding. She was the sweetest and most attentive Waitress I've had in a while. We sat out on the patio underneath the pergola they have beautiful potted flowers, so the atmosphere was most pleasing the only caveat I have is that I asked for lemons for my salad, and they gave me sliced instead of wedges. It's literally impossible to squeeze a sliced lemon.

Cool casual dining option in Downtown Willoughby. The overall vibe is a mix between a paninis sports bar and healthy Indian spot. I got the karma bowl, and added a few things from the chakra bowl plus salmon. My salmon piece was especially tiny, especially to be a $12 add on. Nevertheless, my bowl of veggies had more flavor than I expected. It was cooked with a good amount of oil, but was red too greasy. My friend got the salmon dish, which was pretty much the same thing that I got but the salmon was much bigger. I did really enjoy the balsamic glaze on my dish. I also got the saraswati mocktail, a non-alcoholic sangria. It was okay. Service was good.

Otherwise it was very cozy but loud i they need to put sound boards on the wall or ceiling to help absorb the sound. We had pizza (which I would recommend purchasing) & veggie board They only had one bathroom for about 40 people ‍ but it seemed to work. If you wanted to have a drink, you had a walk outside to the martini bar. Once there you have to wait in line at the end of the bar and it was packed full. It reminded me of an old lounge.

I stood at the bar for 30 minutes waiting for a drink a few visits ago while the bartenders took shots with other guests and got absolutely trashed while I was waiting to be served to the point that other patrons at the bar were asking me if I needed them to get the bartenders attention to make my drink, meanwhile the staff was avoiding eye contact and refusing to acknowledge me. tonight at 9:30 they came up to my table and told us it was last call (according to google this bar closes at 12) and brought us our checks. we paid cash and they didn't bring us change- assuming you're getting tipped 66% on a table you refused to wait on is insane and I had to go inside and ask for both mine and my sisters change where I was met with eye rolls and dirty looks from the girl with the braid who had been giving us dirty looks all night. this bar is convenient for me and my sister to meet and catch up each week and to be met with such blatant disrespect is beyond disappointing. closing the bar early so you can have a private party with your friends is not an acceptable reason to kick other patrons out and it has happened times before. we will not be returning, which is disappointing to both of us.

"Hook and Hoof" has been in downtown Willoughby for quite a while so they must be doing something right. And the fact that there aren't that many high level dining establishments in the Willoughby area helps. The first thing I noticed was the facility is very narrow which lends to a crowded feel. And all you need is one overly boisterous table (which was right next to us) and the noise level can be overwhelming. The server we had for the evening was very pleasant. She did a good job being timely with everything. But, it was odd that she often did not listen to an entire request (or maybe just couldn't hear) before walking away. There were a couple of requests for simple standard items that she wasn't even sure they had. I just found it odd. The food however was excellent. The kitchen staff did an exemplary job all night. I had a marvelous cocktail from the well stocked bar. And my double cut pork chop was fantastic. So full of flavor, juicy, cooked exactly as I requested. The sides that accompanied it were just tender enough without being mushy. And my banana cream pie was great. Overall, I give "Hook and Hoof" a solid 4. I definitely can see us going back. They deserve another try. You should give them a try and see for yourself.

The one bartender with blonde super curly hair was wearing a stripper outfit and twerking with her barely there mini skirt and easy to see thong on for all the men at the bar. Not to mention the two handfuls of shots she did with other patrons only added to her belligerent behavior. The other bartender was clearly picking up the slack but was also drinking heavily. Both were very pleasant with us but not very attentive. Food was good. Witnessed multiple people coming to the bar and waiting to be served and leaving without being helped after several minutes. The bar was not that busy and had many open seats mind you. I will mention, I put myself through school being a bartender and I know that letting loose with regulars helped build lasting friendships but I could never imagine getting that intoxicated while at work. I'm hoping that the owners of this bar aren't loosing their asses on giving away merchandise. If I was the owner, I would literally fire everyone but the cook. if you want a freak show.... This is your place to go. BTW... giving 2 stars because my food was good and beer was cold.
